FarmVille Zynga + Water.org = Love
In an email from Zynga to its registered users, the big Z is asking players of their games to “Play it Forward” for charity.
Playing your favorite Zynga game such as FarmVille will trigger a $0.10 donation to charity recipients benefiting both Water.org and Save the Children.
Some readers were concerned about the authenticity of these emails and we would like to help inform you that it is not a scam. “Play it Forward” is an officially sponsored campaign by Zynga which has been confirmed by FarmVille Forum representatives and promoted on the official Facebook page of Zynga.org.

“Play it Forward – Did you get an email in your box stating that if you play your favorite Zynga game, Zynga will make a $0.10 total donation to Water.org and Save the Children? Well it’s true! Let all of your friends and family know in order to increase Zynga’s total donation.”
Water.org is a nonprofit organization co-founded by American actor Matt Damon and Gary White. Their goal is to provide access to safe water and sanitation throughout the world as they have transformed the lives of communities in Africa, South Asia, and Central America.
