In a sneak attack update, a new FarmVille Limited Edition Rainbow crop hit the FarmVille Market and for Farm Coins!
If you are having trouble locating the new seeds, try searching keyword “Rainbow” in your FarmVille Market and you should be able to find the Rainbow seeds.
The market icon for Rainbow seeds indicates that it is part of the “Cloud City” theme. The Limited Edition Rainbow is a one day crop that yields 3 XP and 150 Farm Coins when harvested. Seeds can be purchased for 10 Farm Coins per plot (plus plowing costs). You can purchase Rainbow seeds using Farm Coins during the next 27 days. It does have Crop Mastery available as well.

New permanent FarmVille crop alert! Dandelion finally sneaked its way into the FarmVille Market and we almost didn’t notice.
Thanks to the FarmVille Freaks who emailed us about this new market find. We first heard about the Dandelion crop way back in August 2011 when it made the FarmVille unreleased files. W’ve been patiently awaiting for its arrival and we’re happy to let you know that you can start growing it on your farm today.
Dandelion is a masterable 8 hour flower crop that will yield 1 XP and 55 Farm Coins when harvested. Dandelion seeds cost 20 Farm Coins per plot to grow.

New crop alert! A new Limited Edition Farm Cash crop, Red Carnation, hit the FarmVille Market tonight as part of FarmVille’s Nature theme.
The new crop can be planted on your farm for a limited amount of time after your purchase a permit that will allow you to plant unlimited amounts of Red Carnations on your farm during the 7 day permit. Similar to other Farm Cash crops, Red Carnations will not wither or die once planted so you can harvest them when ready or at your leisure.
FarmVille Limited Edition Nature Crop (Released: May 6, 2012)
FarmVille introduced a new Limited Edition Nagaimo crop tonight as part of the Japanese Garden theme!
The Limited Edition Nagaimo seeds can be purchased with Farm Coins. There is no permit required to plant this crop on your farm, but it will not be in the market forever so make sure to work on its Crop Mastery during its market stay.

The Spring Countdown is in full swing and if you haven’t already noticed – two of the daily prizes in the Spring Countdown are exclusive crops! This should give you another incentive to work on completing the Spring Countdown if you want to unlock these special crops.
You will find these two crops, Grass Widow and Night Cereus, as daily prizes on FarmVille’s Spring Countdown. The Grass Widow Crop is the daily prize for Day 6. The Night Cereus Crop is the daily prize for Day 12. When you unlock the crop by fulfilling the collection requirement, you will be given an 800 seed count packets.
The Grass Widow is a 12 hour crop and the Night Cereus is a 4 hour crop.

A Farm Cash permit required Purple Tulips debuted in the FarmVille Market tonight!
Before you can start plowing away, this Limited Edition crop requires that you purchase a permit or license to grow for 5 Farm Cash. Once purchased, your Purple Tulip permit will be good for one week or 7 days from time of purchase. Crop Mastery is available, but you will have to master it during the permit allowed time.
Similar to other FarmVille Limited Edition Farm Cash crops, Purple Tulips will never wither which means that you can harvest them at your leisure or every time they are ripe. They also have particularly good Farm Coin returns and XP yield.

Tea, anyone? FarmVille’s Garden Tea Party is slowly rolling out to all farmers. The Garden Tea Party is a new feature that allows you to host your own Tea Party on your farm, invite friends, and unlock some exclusive free prizes such as the Tea Server Gnome and an exclusive Purple Orchid crop!
Here’s how it works. You’ll start off by “planning” your Garden Tea Party. After the Update is made available to you on your farm, you will receive a pop-up inviting you to “Plan Party”. Before you host a party, you gotta send the invites and that’s where you will complete the first stage of the Garden Tea Party as well.

Get 8 friends to help you celebrate at your Garden Tea Party, by posting a Share to the Facebook News Feed.
You will have to complete this stage within the time frame of 2 days, 9 hours to unlock the prize.

Some new Winter Wonderland Super Crops hit FarmVille earlier today! Thanks to FarmVille Freak Dark Farmer for the heads up on the arrival of these Super Crops to the FarmVille Market.
We first told you about these crops a few weeks ago (around March 13th) and are happy to let you know that you can now start growing these new crops on your farm and working on their mastery.
The new additions to the Super Crop family include Super Gummi Bear, Super Snow Tulip, Super Gingerbread, and Super Candied Yams.
New crop alert! New theme, new crop. FarmVille kicks off the Limited Edition Prehistoric theme with lots of new market items as well as a new Lava Flower crop.
Lava Flower does have Crop Mastery available and can be purchased via the FarmVille Market for a limited amount of time. You will need to complete your mastery while the seeds are still available.
