Zynga giveth and they taketh away, and then they giveth again?! Yes excitingly the in game Zynga Message Center is back! This feature allows you to accept and send gifts during game play. You can accept gifts in one click and your gift box will update instantly without having to refresh.

FarmVille New Gifting Interface Information
Your game requests (gifts and neighbor invitations) can now be accessed by clicking above the game screen in the upper right hand corner. The message center will pop-up as seen below here.
Gifting through the message center eliminates many extra ‘clicks’!
Howdy Trick or Treaters! We realize that some of your gift boxes are getting chock full of Halloween Candy and consequently you can’t put anything else in there. We’ve just released an update so that Halloween Candy no longer counts towards your Gift Box limit (except in the case of Mystery items, like the Mystery Game or Mystery Eggs–you won’t be able to get those if the Gift Box is full).
Next week you’ll be able to use the Halloween Candy so you’ll be able to accept Mystery items again soon.
Today, FarmVille reached its goal of 1 Billion School Supplies sent for Haiti.
Farmers were asked to help by sending free giftable School Supplies to their farming neighbors. The campaigning efforts will benefit building the School of Choice in Haiti and $200,000 will be donated by Zynga to go towards the building of a new school.
As a thank-you to everyone that participated, FarmVille is rewarding each farmer with a free Haiti Hot Air Balloon from the School of Choice. The Hot Air Balloon features colors from the Haitian flag and a FarmVille Duck. You can also share a newsfeed link letting everyone know that FarmVille reached its goal and give your friends the opportunity to score some free School Supplies.
Zynga has taken away multiple Nursery Barns from those farmers who owned more than one.
As a courtesy they have given each player who owned a second Nursery Barn free 100 FV$ farm cash and you can find your animals that lived in the deleted Nursery Barn in your FarmVille Gift Box.

“Hey Farmers!
Due to numerous technical complications, we have had to remove all excess Nursery Barns from our players.
We have placed all of the animals from your second Nursery Barn into your gift box. We have also credited any affected players with 100 Farm Cash to help replace any lost building materials or efforts.
Unfortunately, if you were in possession of more than two Nursery Barns, we will not be able to restore any lost animals or building materials from your excess Nurseries (You will receive the compensation mentioned above for your second Nursery Barn only). As per the original statement from the FarmVille Team about multiple Nursery Barns:
“Please know that if you continue to take advantage of this glitch and choose to have more than two Nurseries on your farm, you are building at your own risk, as this issue will be addressed in the future. This fix may result in the loss of any Nursery Barns in excess of two.”

In an update tonight, FarmVille has improved Gifting and enabled farmers to Re-Gift unwanted items.
With the Re-Gifting option, you can now share Gifts from your Gift Box that you no longer want or need! Many farmers have lots of unused or unwanted gifts and this fixes that problem, by allowing you to share these gifts with your neighbors who may need or want them.
To use this new feature, simply go to your FarmVille Gift Box and search your inventory. Items that are able to be re-gifted will be designated with a purple “Re-Gift” button. After clicking on this option you can then choose the number of gifts (if you have more than one item) that you would like to share. Your gifts are then shared via a FaceBook newsfeed, where your friends and neighbors can pick them up.

This is a great upgrade and useful one that recycles all those unwanted gifts. However, it would be nice if all items were Re-giftable. Do you like this new upgrade?
