FarmVille Freak Summary of Podcast

-Pot of Gold

• For every 5 pieces of gold you collect, you will be able to post a “sharing” option in your Facebook newsfeed that will allow your friends to collect.
• Collect gold from neighbors gifts and newsfeed. Up to 10 people can collect from one sharing gold link.

-Fuel Changes

• Free Fuel can be found while plowing, fertilizing neighbors’ farms, and in Mystery Eggs or Gifts.
• You are limited to finding fuel on your farm while plowing once per day.
• When you find free fuel on your farm you can share by posting a link in your newsfeed, up to 150 neighbors can collect free fuel. The amount of fuel they get depends on the size of their farms. (More plots, more fuel).
• While fertilizing you can find free fuel once per neighbor. At a certain point of fertilizing you may notice that you are no longer finding fuel and will need to use up some of your current fuel, to find more.
• The rate that fuel naturally regenerates has been changed to slow down.slowed down. The bigger your farm, the faster it will regenerate.

-FarmVille Game Cards

• Now available at 7 Eleven and Best Buy

-Player Submitted Questions

• Farms of the Week (Zynga’s) are selected based on being “good looking” designs, hay bale, etc.
• FarmHands are a consumable item that harvest all animals that are not in a building instantly. One time use.

COMING SOON to FarmVille:

• New feature that will allow better in-game communication with your FarmVille neighbors.
• Fine tuning Mastery, Achievements, and Leveling. There will be permanent changes made to Mastery and Achievement requirements.
• More St. Patrick’s Day themed Mystery Box and Limited Edition items.

FarmVille relased their weekly podcast on 02.19.10 on time as scheduled.

This Week’s Releases:

• Chicken Coop Expansion
• Horse Stable  changes and upgrades including color changes and consumables.
• Arborists and Farmhands consumables are ONE-time use only.
• New decorations including: Lunar New Years, Mardi Gras/Carnival, and Olympics Winter Games.

Limited Edition Lunar New Year Crops:

• Bamboo Crop available at Level 10.
• Lotus Crop is available at Level 30.

FarmVille Game Cards:

• February 22nd is the official release date. Those who already purchased had unintentional early access.

Unwither Function:

• 3 Unwither applications can be purchased in the FarmVille Market for 30 FV$
• You can randomly receive free unwither upon visiting neighbors farms while completing friend missions.
• If you visit a neighbor’s farm that has not played FarmVille in the last 30 days you can choose to unwither dead crops with a free unwither application.

Unwither Ring

• Owning an Unwither Ring means no more withered crops.
• Costs 250 FV$
• Is a sendable item only. You cannot purchase one for yourself.
• The purchaser can customize the ring.
• Cannot be opened until February 14th.

Coming Soon to FarmVille

Unfortunately, the FarmVille podcast for the week of the 30th has been canceled. We were hoping to get it released today, however the FarmVille team is still dealing with various technical difficulties and internal issues that are conflicting with our podcast releases.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and we are aware the Podcast releases have been a little off schedule.

We are working on releasing the podcasts more consistently in the future. In the meantime, we would like to thank you for your understanding while we work towards maintaining the health of FarmVille and its community.

We will release our next Podcast on Friday, February 12th.

This is NOT an official Zynga podcast. The latest Zynga podcast is supposed to come out tomorrow (Monday, February 8th).

FarmVille Freak will now be featuring our own podcast that basically recaps the week in FarmVille and includes content from FarmVille Freak as well as official Zynga news. One of the reasons why we decided to publish our own podcast is because many farmers were requesting translations of the Zynga podcast and translations of FarmVille Freak from English into Spanish. We will try to do our best publishing weekly FarmVille Freak podcasts but will be working with other people as we do so and will aim for publishing them on Saturdays.

We have both an English and Spanish Version. If you are interested in listening to a summary or highlights of the week in FarmVille and FarmVille Freak, check it out.

TheZynga Podcast  that was supposed to be available Friday, January 8th was postponed until today, January 11th. It is up and available for you to listen.

Here are some highlights of the “Coming Soon” to FarmVille feature in the podcast.

• Trade feature: An option to do something with unwanted items.
• New Planting, Plowing, Harvesting & Friend Missions features along with some additional FarmVille building with purpose that includes: General Store , Post Office and Bed & Breakfast
• Mystery Animals boxes that will contain animals that have never before been seen in FarmVille. They will work similar to existing Mystery Boxes.

Zynga finally released a FarmVille podcast today, December 21st.

Here are some of the highlights:

-In January Zynga will be taking a few questions and answers from FarmVille users on their official Zynga forums.

-There will be No podcast this Friday, December 25th. the next podcast will be released on January 8th.
