The Farmville Lawn Jockey

Sun ,08/11/2009

Ever notice this little guy and wonder where he came from and where you can get one?

The Farmville Lawn Jockey was a decoration item released early on in beta Farmville.  It has since been retired because of its controversial nature, so they are pretty rare in Farmville.

The re-sell value of a Baby Elephant is 125 coins and they are ready to harvest in 4 days.

UPDATE:

The Baby Elephant is a retired item. It was only available for a 48 hour time period.

Thank goodness it wasn’t ivory!!! Baby Elephants yield Circus Peanuts and are ready to collect in 4 days. The circus peanuts are worth 125 coins.

Farmville Hot Air Balloon Weekend!

Fri ,18/09/2009

This weekend Farmville is celebrating 1 MILLION users by releasing to the market a hot air balloon equipped with one black sheep!  Sweet.

Hot Air Balloon for 10 coins? Yes, thank you, don’t mind if I do. Get yours (or several) while you can.

You will be able to purchase this weekend ONLY for 10 coins.

No word on the re-sell value or if you will be able to purchase in the regular market.

Update: The hot air balloons do essentially nothing besides being a decoration on your farm that happens to take up a significant amount of room. The sheep stays in the balloon and does not produce black wool for you to harvest like your other black sheep. There is NO re-sell value for the hot air balloon, it sells for 0 coins if you wish to get rid of it. Too bad, so sad :(
