In an email from Zynga today players got a preview of some of those items! As well as a sneak as some upcoming Mystery Game prizes!
FarmVille Preview of upcoming Mystery Game Prizes: Weasel, Beaver, Camargue Horse
When Mystery Boxes were first released back in October, farmers received a pop-up saying “Mystery Boxes are now available in the Market! These boxes are loaded with exclusive items so every box is a winner!” Mystery Boxes have come a long way (among the very first prizes were the Red Bike and Striped Rest Tent) but has the motivation to buy a Mystery Box depleted? Many of the supposed exclusive items have become available again through the FarmVille Market, hatching Mystery Eggs or repeated in subsequent Mystery Boxes. Also, in more recent FarmVille history we have seen many limited edition items in the Market. In the most recent update many of those items were returned to the Market.
Here are just some of the repeat offenders:
UPDATE: In todays release the Clydesdale Horse (for 10 more $FV than last time) and Baby Tiger we added back to the Market.
Hot Tub
Gold Gnome
White Owl
Zen Garden
Carousel
Super Spin Ride
Golden Fountain
Lamb
Turkey
Frozen Pond
Stone Well
Rock Stream
Jackalope
Cow Print items
Valley Quail
FarmVille Sign
Repeats may be great opportunities for newer players to obtain older decorations, animals or buildings. But, what about a farmer that bought 7 Animal Crates to get a Jackalope? Or 5 Mystery Boxes to get an Owl? Or, a farmer who paid $FV for a Lamb or Turkey only to receive quite a few them for free through the Holiday Tree presents.
Some previously retired items have returned to the FarmVille Market with no expiration date. Perhaps, these items will become permanent features in the Market since they currently do not have time limits.
You can now once again purchase these special edition buildings that includes the following:
FV Buildings
Cowprint Barn
Cowprint Shed
Cowprint Silo
Vacation Home
Deluxe Lodge
There are also numerous other “retired” decoration items re-surfacing in the Market.
FV Decorations
Cowprint Potty
Cowprint Tower
Bonsai Tree (decorative tree)
Flourishing Birch (decorative tree)
Large Bolder
Blue Gazing Ball
Log Bench (previously Giftable only)
FarmVille Sign
FV Animals
Valley Quail (harvestable animal)
Also, please note that April Fools’ Day items and Easter or Spring themed items will be leaving the Market after the next 23 hours.
As we already mentioned La Maison materials have been brought back until APRIL 12th at 9pm PT. Earlier today Lexilicious (Official FarmVille Community Manager) posted this on the Official FarmVille Forums.
Hey guys,
Due to technical issues that led to the La Maison gifts to expire earlier than intended, we are extending the gifts and ability to purchase a frame for one more week, from April 4th until April the 12th at 9 PM PDT.
For any users who deleted their Maison frames/partially complete Maisons, please make sure to contact our Customer Support department and they will be able to assist you as soon as they are able.
Because of problems that have occurred in the past with this feature, should the timing for the availability of La Maison gifting change we will inform you via the forums as soon as we have pertinent information.
As always, we appreciate your patience with us, and apologize for any inconvenience caused.
Ever notice this little guy and wonder where he came from and where you can get one?
The Farmville Lawn Jockey was a decoration item released early on in beta Farmville. It has since been retired because of its controversial nature, so they are pretty rare in Farmville.
A: Farmville Super Berries are now retired. They are no longer available in the Farmville Market. Super Berries were released for one weekend only as a limited edition item to celebrate 500,000 fans of Farmville.
