FarmVille released a new ribbon achievement on 02.19.10, the Horse Power Ribbon!

FarmVille Horse Power Ribbon

To earn this ribbon, you will first need to own a Horse Stable.

The Horse Power Ribbon can be earned by collecting “consumable buffs” from your Horse Stable when harvesting.  Assuming consumable buffs means the Arborist, Farmhand, or 100 XP that you can possibly yield while harvesting from your Horse Stable.

Horse Power Ribbon Achievement Requirements:

• Yellow Ribbon: Collect 5 consumables from the Horse Stable
• White Ribbon: Collect 25 consumables from the Horse Stable
• Red Ribbon: Collect 50 consumables from the Horse Stable
• Blue Ribbon: Collect 100 consumables from the Horse Stable

FarmVille Freak James shared with us some interesting finds and it looks like FarmVille will be adding some Super Bowl or “Big Game” Ribbon achievements.

These ribbons are currently unreleased, but may be debuting very soon! Perhaps, Thursday since the game day is this Sunday.

The Ribbons include: Ultimate Tailgate Party, Competitive Eater and Hey Ref! Get Some Glasses! Word is that after each Blue Ribbon is achieved you will receive a trophy. Some of the Ribbons will be working with other unreleased items like the Nachos crop. Yes, Nachos. Check below for the ribbon requirements.

In an update made on 01.26.10, FarmVille released the Cunning Collector Ribbon achievement.

This achievement will reward you for completing collection sets.

Requirements for Cunning Collector Ribbon:

Cunning Collector

• Yellow Ribbon: 2 Collections
• White Ribbon: 25 Collections
• Red Ribbon: 50 Collections
• Blue Ribbon: 100 Collections

In an update made on 01.12.10 FarmVille added two new ribbons.

The Need for Seed Ribbon rewards you when you use your Seeder tractor to plant crops or seeds.

Requirements for FarmVille Need for Seed Ribbon:

• Yellow Ribbon: Plant 200 plots with the Seeder, 50 XP and 1,000 coins
• White Ribbon: Plant 1000 plots with the Seeder, 100 XP and 2,500 coins
• Red Ribbon: Plant 2500 plots with the Seeder, 2500 XP and 5,000 coins
• Blue Ribbon: Plant 10000 plots with the Seeder, 1000 XP and 10,000 coins

The much awaited Cat Lady Ribbon will reward you for brushing your FarmVille Cats! Finally, making all those cats useful and simultaneously upsetting all those dog lovers who keep asking, “Where is the FarmVille Dog?”.

Requirements for FarmVille Cat Lady Ribbon:

• Yellow Ribbon: Collect from 5 Cats, 50 XP and 1,000 coins
• White Ribbon: Collect from 50 Cats, 100 XP and 2,500 coins
• Red Ribbon: Collect from 100 Cats, 250 XP and 5,000 coins
• Blue Ribbon: Collect from 250 Cats, 1000 XP and 10,000 coins

Two new ribbons were also released in FarmVille. The Fenced In Ribbon which works by rewarding you for collecting fences and the Egg-celent Discovery Ribbon which rewards you for finding Mystery Eggs in your Chicken Coop.

Here are the requirements for both of these new ribbons.

The Fenced In Ribbon Requirements:

• Yellow Ribbon: Requires 5, gain of 25 XP and 500 Coins.
• White Ribbon: Requires 50, gain of 100 XP and 2,500 Coins.
• Red Ribbon: Requires 100, gain of 250 XP and 5,000 Coins.
• Blue Ribbon: Requires 250, gain of 1000 XP and 10,000 Coins.

What new Ribbon are you most excited about? I think the humorous ”Cat Lady” Ribbon will make use of all these FarmVille cats and amazingly still not  one single dog!

FarmVille They of Mystery Ribbon

The They of Mystery Ribbon will require you to purchase and open Mystery Boxes to earn these Ribbons.

The last Blue Ribbon will require you to buy/open 30 Mystery Boxes. If each Mystery Box costs 16 FV$,
30 x 16 FV$ = 480 FV$ to earn the Blue Ribbon.

FarmVille Foremost Fruit Farmer

The Foremost Fruit Farmer Ribbon works like the Vegetable Virtuoso Ribbon except with fruit. Each fruit Crop that you harvest will earn points towards the Foremost Fruit Farmer Ribbon.

The requirements for these two new Ribbons are below.

Requirements for They of Mystery Ribbons:

Yellow, open 2 mystery boxes, 50 xp, 500 coins
White, open 6 mystery boxes, 100 xp, 2500 coins
Red, open 15 mystery boxes, 250 xp, 5000 coins
Blue, open 30 mystery boxes, 500 xp, 10000 coins

Requirements for Foremost Fruit FarmerRibbons:

Yellow, harvest 15 fruit crops, 50 xp, 500 coins
White, harvest 500 fruit crops, 100 xp, 2500 coins
Red, harvest 2500 fruit crops, 250 xp, 5000 coins
Blue, harvest 10000 fruit crops, 500 xp, 10000 coins

Although most people will be happy to see that Zynga has lowered the standards or requirements for some Ribbons which will make them easier to earn, a few people (more advanced farmers) may be temporarily losing out.

Looks like us FarmVille Freaks that were way ahead in the Cream of the Crop and Flower Power game now have a negative count. This affects mostly those that were trying to achieve the Blue Ribbon in these areas.

It seems that if you were beyond the limits of the current requirements for the Blue Ribbons before the change, then ironically you have not been awarded the Blue Ribbons even though you have technically met the numbers! Ouch.

I hope Zynga fixes this bug issue soon!

FarmVille Vegetable Virtuoso Ribbon

The Vegetable Virtuoso Ribbon will require you to harvest Vegetable crops to earn ribbons.

The concept of this Ribbon is that you will earn Ribbons whenever you use your Tractors to plow land.

The first Ribbon will require you to plow 200 plots with your tractor to earn the Yellow Ribbon.

•  Yellow Ribbon: Requires 200 plows, gain of 50 XP and 1,000 Coins.
• White Ribbon: Requires 1,000 plows, gain of 100 XP and 2,500 Coins.
• Red Ribbon: Requires 2,500 plows, gain of 250 XP and 5,000 Coins.
• Blue Ribbon: Requires 10,000 plows, gain of 1000 XP and 10,000 Coins.
