UPDATE: We previously reported that this crop was available for Farm Coins a few minutes prior to its actual release. Apologies for any confusion. We have updated this post with the correct information.

A new Limited Edition crop, Glass Rose, arrived in FarmVille as part of the Fairy Tale theme and unfortunately it does require a Farm Cash permit. A permit to grow Glass Roses can be purchased for 5 Farm Cash.

You can grow Glass Roses on your FarmVille farm starting tonight and work your way towards its Crop Mastery. Glass Rose seeds costs 60 Farm Coins per plot. Similar to other previous Limited Edition Farm Cash crops, Glass Roses will not wither or die and can be harvested at their every maturity time or at your own leisure.

We love seeing new crops in FarmVille and this one reminds us of that Enchanted Rose from Beauty & The Beast.
