The FarmVille Market got a dramatic overhaul that includes new visual chops, easier search options, and more information about market items.

If you’ve visited the FarmVille Market lately, you will notice it’s new look.

Some highlights include:

• New Navigation
• Larger image icons for market items
• If you hover over the item you can view an expiration time (how much time it has left in the FarmVille Market)
• Information such as harvest times, coin and XP yield are easier to see
• Easier Search function for Limited Edition items

You can have one of each building on your FarmVille farm. Previously, you had to pick one building (at a free cost) and pay 80 Farm Cash each for additional crafting buildings if you wanted all three on one farm. Now, this new and welcomed change allows you to have all three crafting buildings on your farm without having to pay Farm Cash.

Each of your FarmVille farms can have three crafting buildings. Home Farm Can have one Bakery, one Spa, and one Winery. However, destination farms’ unique Crafting Buildings do count towards the three per farm limit. For example, if you have an English Pub Crafting Building on your English Countryside farm, then you can have two additional Crafting Buildings from the choice of Bakery, Spa, or Winery. You will not be able to have the Bakery, Spa, Winery, plus the English Pub (or other destination farm crafting building).

To get started, all you need to do is visit your FarmVille Market and keyword search works “Bakery”, “Spa”, and “Winery”. Clear up some green space to place your new crafting building and get crafty!

You will still need to level-up your crafting building by crafting Recipes and paying Farm Coins or you can opt to pay Farm Cash of course.

Yay! Finally, FarmVill has released the next generation of  Special Delivery Boxes with SDB 2.0! We’ve been waiting on this upgrade since we saw its unreleased images and had high hopes for improvements.

We’re happy to let you know that the SDB 2.0 are here and on a slow rollout, so hold tight. In the meantime we can tell you what to expect in the new SDB 2.0. First of all, FarmVille has made a vast improvement with an upgrade to utilizing the SDB to our benefit. In other words, we have a bit of control as to what we use the SDB (and its contents) on our farm. Any farmer knows how annoying it is to have tons of SDB to use, but none of the contents go to the construction project that needs it the most. FarmVille has taken note, and improved the SDB 2.0 with the ability to allocate which of your construction projects it is used on. Now, when opening a SDB 2.0, the  buildings on your farm that it can be used on will be highlighted in blue.

FarmVille's Gilda Crafting Bushel Neighbor

FarmVille introduced Gilda this weekend and she’s here to help with our FarmVille Crafting! Please note, this feature is on a slow rollout and only a select group of players have early access at this point.

Think of Gilda as your go-to Bushel gal, who always has the Bushel you need when your neighbors don’t.

To check out what Gilda has to offer, simply visit your farm’s Winery, Spa, Bakery, etc. crafting building where you craft Recipes (although we haven’t seen Gilda in Jade Falls yet). When creating a Recipe, you’ll need specific Bushel ingredients and Gilda has them all! Think of Gilda as another FarmVille neighbor who always has what you need, the girl you can always depend on. As great as Gilda is for helping you out in a bind by letting you obtain obscure bushels on demand, you can only use her every 30 minutes with a maximum of 3 Bushels at each time. We like Gilda and think it definitely beats  paying 1 Farm Cash per hard-to-find Bushel or growing them yourself.

FarmVille Old Crop Readiness Meter

FarmVille has upgraded the Crop Readiness Meter! Please note, this feature is slowly rolling out, so you may not have it on your farm just yet.

The Crop Readiness Meter does just that- it tells you when the FarmVille crops that you have planted are your farm will be ready to harvest. We are referring to this minor change to the Crop Readiness Meter as an upgrade because we think it’s better than what we had before. Instead of showing the usual percentage as in “My Eggplants are 50% ready”, the new Crop Readiness Meter will display a more telling time in a more detailed numerical fashion with days, hours, and minutes, as in “My Eggplants will be ready in 1 day, 3 hours”.

Since each FarmVille crop has a different harvest time, it’s hard to keep track of each specific crop’s harvest time that you planted on your farm without going back to the FarmVille Market and taking a peek at its market icon. This new feature takes away the guesswork and just might save some crops from withering.

To find out if you have the new Crop Readiness Meter, simply hover over any of your planted crops on your FarmVille farm.

FarmVille Roaming Dinosaurs Notice

 

With the new Roaming Dinosaurs you will be able to entice FarmVille Dinosaurs onto your FarmVille farm and if you catch one, they are yours to keep. Yay for free Dinosaurs!

Before you dread the thought of working on yet another FarmVille construction project- there’s good news. The Roaming Dinosaur feature is not a buildable. *Sigh of relief* It works similar to the adoptable Lonely Animals that show up on your FarmVille farms. The Roaming Dinosaur Pen can be found on the outerskirts of your FarmVille farm where Lonely animals usually appear. It’s a pretty big pen, so you can’t miss it! If you are still having trouble locating this new feature, look out for the in-game icons located on the Right side. The Roaming Dinosaur feature is represented by a Dinosaur icon. Just click that to get started.

To entice a Roaming Dinosaur you will have to complete some tasks and then it’s yours to keep forever. Each stage will have a different Dinosaur, for a total of at least six different Dinosaurs for you to obtain. The first stage kicks off with the Bambisaurus Dinosaur. In order to entice it to stay (and keep it) you will need to collect 8 Fern Fronds by posting a Facebook News Feed share. When your friends click on the share you will get a part and they will get one for themselves as well. So remember, help a friend in need and help yourself too!

There’s also time constraints in place, so you will have to complete the task in the given amount of time to get your free dino.

FarmVille FarmVille Photo Notice

FarmVille has finally returned the ability to take photos on your farm with a new in-game function! Please note, this feature is slowly rolling out to all farmers.

Many people were sad to see the Photo feature removed from FarmVille. Of course there’s other ways to take images of your farm using keyboard shortcuts, but the simple in-game photo button has been gone quite a long time.  Well it’s back and photo-snapping farmers will be happy to know that the Photo feature has returned, and with improvements!

You will be able to take photos of your farm and share them with your friends. And there’s more too. Not only will you be able to take photos, you can also tweak your image with zoom function and ready-made filters, sort of like the popular Instagram app.

To access the new Photo feature simply click on the same old Camera icon found on your FarmVille toolbar towards the bottom right. It is directly above the Travel icon.

FarmVille Marketplace Gifting Preview

FarmVille will soon be making changes and improvements to the Marketplace Gifting. One of the new changes will allow you to send Gifts directly from the FarmVille Market (marketplace). This will be a similar function to the past “Send” button where you were allowed to send Farm Cash items directly to your neighbors from the market.

UPDATE: FarmVille has temporarily removed Fast Travel to work on technical issues that some players were experiencing. It will be released again soon when these issues are resolved.

Great news! FarmVille is introducing Faster Travel between FarmVille farms. This new feature is slowly rolling out to all farmers.

Toggling (or traveling) between five and soon-to-be six FarmVille farms can be a tedious task in itself. So it’s a good thing that FarmVille has a solution that will allow faster traveling between your FarmVille farms! We can’t wait to see this new feature in action and experience fast FarmVille travel for ourselves.
