FarmVille Claimed Activity on Facebook

There’s been a somewhat unspoken rule about FarmVille farmer etiquette to “Like” a post when you claim an item from a neighbor on your Facebook News Feed.  For example, if you just adopted the latest FarmVille tree from your neighbor then hit “Like” to let them know that someone got their tree and and express your thanks. You can also “Like” request posts from your neighbors to let them know that you’ve helped by sending one of those endless FarmVille Quest items. It helps your neighbors keep track of how many items they’ve gotten (without going back to the game itself) and it also let’s other players know how many people have helped.

Of course not everyone practices the “Like” rule which angers some players, especially those generous arborist tree-breeders and animal breeders who are nice enough to share their new trees and offspring. However, whether you hit the “Like” button or not- now everyone can see who claims what because your activity for claimed FarmVille items is now posted on Facebook under your profile’s Recent Activity area. FarmVille introduced this new new feature a few days ago and we want to know what you think, FarmVille Freaks! FarmVille Leaderboards are Here Notice

FarmVille Leaderboards are here! This new feature is slowly rolling out to all farmers, so hang tight if you don’t have it just yet.

The FarmVille Leaderboards will allow you to compete with your FarmVille neighbors in a new way each week. There will be weekly challenges that will allow you to win cool free prizes. For example, this week your challenge is who can grow and harvest the most Limited Edition Rainbow crops! There’s a Rainbow Harvest Fest Leaderboard to keep track of your progress and see where you compare with your neighbors. The Rainbow crop just came out yesterday so start growing Rainbows on your farm today and participate in this new FarmVille challenge!

FarmVille Level Up Notice Upgrade

FarmVille has upgraded its Level Up dialog notice!

Now, when ever you reach a new level you will be treated to a new pop-up congratulating your accomplishment and if you like letting your neighbors know what you’ve been doing on the farm, they’ll see too when you choose to share it via your Facebook News Feed.

FarmVille Duck Head Game Icon

You will notice that the usual Corn bookmark icon located on the left side of your Facebook bookmarked APPS has been replaced with an almost unrecognizable FarmVille Duck head. No, this is not a hack, this is the legitimate work of FarmVille doings. Many of you have asked about changes made to icons which are also featured on FarmVille shares found on your Facebook News Feed. Some of you have expressed concern about clicking on these links because of suspicion of fake groups or scams. We can confirm that FarmVille has given its icon material and some top feeds a makeover which includes art and text changes for some shares.

Use the same caution as you always would about clicking on feeds, but be aware that the Corn icon is no longer featured on shares. Some time ago the Corn icon on shares was replaced with a FV logo icon.

FarmVille is reporting via their official Facebook Fan Page that they have finally fixed the Bushel issue.

Which bushel issue exactly? For some time now, farmers have had problems with not receiving bushels when harvesting your crops. Now, you should notice that you will get more bushels when harvesting your crops.

FarmVille Earn Coconuts Faster Loading Screen

FarmVille Hawaiian Paradise has its own form of “super crop” with the first Royal Taro crops. You can unlock Royal Taro whenever you first master the regular Taro crop.

Royal Taro will earn you more Coconuts than the regular version as well as more XP and costs just 1 Coconut more to plant than regular Taro. Both crops still have the same harvest maturity time of 4 hours.

FarmVille Garage Vehicle Part

FarmVille made a minor but very useful improvement to our FarmVille Garages.

They’ve added a “Use All” button which will automatically use any existing parts that you’ve collected to upgrade your vehicles.

We can see how this feature would be super useful in other areas of FarmVille. Imagine a “Use All” button for all those collected Quest Task items filling up your FarmVille Gift Boxes!

Special Delivery Boxes can be sent for free via the FarmVille Gifting Page. They are packed with consumables among other things that you can utilize on your farm such as Fertilizer, Water, the occasional decoration, and of course all those building materials.

It’s about time!!! FarmVille finally introduced the ability to have Shared Storage on your Lighthouse Cove Farm with new Shipping Licenses.

Before you get too excited the LC Shared Storage license called a Shipping License costs 75 Farm Cash. Although there is a promise for a free version which currently remains locked.  The still locked free option says that a “free license” at Cove Level 10 is “coming soon”. As we all know, the problem with FarmVille is that “coming soon” can mean anything- days, weeks, or months.

Shared Storage, also known as transferable storage, will give you the ability to move items between Lighthouse Cove farm and your other licensed farms.

TIP: Are you having trouble finding this license on your farm? First, visit your Lighthouse Cove farm and search keyword “License” in your FarmVille Market. You can also see the option available in your Storage Cellar.
