FarmVille released a set of new California themed animals! These exclusive animals can be yours (with farm cash only) if you purchase them in the FarmVille Market within the next 8 days. They are also send-able meaning one of your FarmVille friends can purchase and then send it to you.
These items are exclusive and limited meaning after the eight days have expired they will go into retirement.

I don’t think I’m going for these. I avoided the tiger for the same reason as the bear, they’re just not that farm friendly (I got a buffalo from the crate, but those are actually raised on some farms) in addition to being expensive.
The quail…probably not.

I love the animals, they are my favorite. But i just can’t ever buy them because they are FV. =( Maybe if they were less FV. They are very cute.

I bought the panda and tiger, but refuse to pay more FV$ for the bear, even though he is so cute. I wish the Farmville gods would start offering more great things to buy with coins. I have a few million coins, but nothing to buy! It seems that unless you want to use real money all the time, you are limited to stupid items like duck hedges and chickens.

I bought the bear, he was too stinkin’ cute to avoid! I put him up on my mock hillside with my Moose. Trying to mimic a Maine atmosphere.
Don’t think I will break down and buy the quail. I only have 27 FV cash left and thats it for a few weeks.

i’m disappointed in the design of these animals
the bear looks too cartoonish for my taste and the quails head looks odd. sadly i won’t be getting these animals

I got the new bear cub and the quail. I have to say I’m very disappointed in the quail. The quality seems to be low. I really don’t like the little white tips they game it’s feathers. Just makes it look low quality to me…

Now see, I think the quail is a slice of awesome and the tweet it makes when you pet it is a nice touch! The bear cub is cute, but you can’t pet him. I have no idea what noise he makes. Now, come on: you can pet the tiger, but not the bear? Maybe that was a design error, I don’t know.
I got a few mystery box items as well (because I’m a sucker). The cabana is ho-hum. The Deluxe Storage Shed is at least useful, but the cubby was a huge disappointment. It doesn’t store anything and it doesn’t go with anything. I don’t get it. I also ended up with two of the cubbys (sold one back). Wish they would at least not repeat items (or would allow us to trade amongst each other).
The hummingbirds were what I was going for and they, by contrast, are awesome. (hope the link works)

It’s good to see some people fattening up Zynga’s bank account.
I’m finding every extra limited time gift they create is going for a higher amount of Farm Cash. Nice plot they got going.
As for me their is maybe an actual 3% of items that are truly farm related.
What are they turning the game into? Circusville? Olympicsville?
Or maybe Whatevertheywantville… Aslongasitfattensupthebankaccountville.
