FarmVille Carrier Pigeons: Free Gift Repeat
To reward those farmers that have signed up to receive FarmVille emails, FarmVille has rewarded them with another Carrier Pigeon.
FarmVille Freak Colton's Two Carrier Pigeons
The Carrier Pigeons are a decorative animal item and have a “fly” function animation.
They were previously gifted by FarmVille to farmers for initially signing up to receive their emails. Not sure if this was a slip-up or intended free gift repeat. Meaning, many farmers may have two Carrier Pigeons. You can choose to sell your Carrier Pigeon for 500 coins.
Note: The Carrier Pigeon is also available in the FarmVille Market for 17 FV$ or farm cash.

I use them for houses that do not have mail boxes, so I put the 2nd one out on the farm.

I opened my gift box and there was a homing pigeon I set it down on my farm to empty my gift box and it took 17 of my farmville dollars, not sure if it was a glitch with the new updates or what the problem is BEWARE!!

I like these, but they are HUGE. Not to scale at all with the rest of the farm.

They need to rescale them…they’re way too big. I love that they fly and they look good next to the post office, just make them smaller please.

They DO need to be resized but they are very cool. Like a fool, I was really hoping for something I’d never seen before, lo and behold another pigeon roost. hehehe Whatev.

hehe… i was able to get this glitch with the farmville mansion frame i had completed 1 n then i saw that i could build another placed it on my farm now i am starting to build my second 1 so cool! any1 else get this as well

@red…that’s the same thing that happened to me…when i opened my farm, it said that there is another pigeon. i get it from the gift box and i thought it’s just another gift. later on, i realized that I only have 9 FV cash remaining from the original 26 FV cash!!! how sad!!!

lol @ Azza .. you can build more than one Maison, just can’t have more than one frame at a time .. there’s no glitch sweetie.
and I’m just curious .. has anyone else seen the locked box they mentioned ..? one of my neighbors has one on her farm n she said they emailed her a code but she hasn’t used it yet. just wondering if anyone else has seen these?!

btw…according to farmville wiki…locked mystery box is just available to a small percentage of farmers…they can get that while plowing..

my husband has a locked box on his farm, he is in level 13 and doesnt really play it like i do, he doesnt care whats in the box, and its driving me crazy because i am in level 60, pay lots of farm cash and am really addicted to playing, cant believe that he just lets this cute little box untoucjed

I had a locked box…I was all excited until I opened it and it was 5 Fuels…Bummer. I wish things in the game didn’t cost so many $FV. I think they should have it to where you can pay some ridiculous amount of coins OR pay farm cash for the stuff. They have it on some things, why not expand on that?

My brother managed to dig up a little lock box, but he doesn’t want to give out his email and mess with getting the code and all that, so it just sits near his farmer for you to see when you go to his farm. =D

i think u should get roosters and if u put 1 in ur chicken coop u could hav a chance of finding a baby chick.
Also i think u know how theres a stable for the horses and a dairy farm for cows i think there should be something for sheep like a sheiring shed for them. And maybe u could find a ram and put it in the sheiring shed and maybe u can find a lamb.
Also i was wondering if the foals come in black, brown , pink, green or blue?
also i think if we haven’t got owls all ready then we should defently get them!
Also i was wondering when the circus is comeing to farmville, because i luv the baby elephants. I think u should make them transform in a big elephant and u can collect the peanuts then

I have to ask … what’s special enough about this item, now it’s available in the store anyway, to encourage people to sign up for emails??
I think it’s a bit of a cheat to say you’ll get a special exclusive item for signing up, then a few weeks later, just put it in the store anyway.
Regardless of the fact that it’s available for farmcash only, I am not impressed. :p

I love the pigeons and I think it is a reward for people who are still currently signed up for email updates instead of removing themselves. A different gift might have been nice only if it was cooler. I love animated items.
