Farmville Chicken Coops!

The Chicken Coop was introduced in Farmville on 11.12.09 as another a Farmville building with a purpose!
The Chicken Coop is a storage system for your chickens, much like the Dairy Farm. It holds 20 chickens.
Currently the Chicken Coop is GIFTABLE , available for purchase in the Farmville Market for 5,000 coins, and you may also get it by hatching a Mystery Egg.
There is a limit to ONE chicken Coop per farmer. If you already have a Chicken Coop and are gifted more Chicken Coops by your Farmville neighbors, your Chicken Coop gift will turn into a Chicken.

“Chicken Coops are now available in FarmVille! This Building That Matters is a little different than the Dairy Farm, so keep reading to find out more information!
- Chicken Coops can be purchased for 5000 Coins from the Marketplace. Chicken Coops are also a Giftable Item, so make sure to ask your friends to send you one if you don’t wish to purchase it.
- Chicken Coops can be used once every 24 hours and will yield the sum of all of the Chickens stored within. (For example: if 10 Chickens are placed in the Chicken Coops, and are harvestable for 6 coins apiece, you will receive 60 coins.)
- Once your Chicken Coop reaches 100%, it is ready for Harvest. When Harvesting your Chicken Coop, you have a chance to receive a “Mystery Egg”.
- Mystery Eggs can be White, Brown, Black or Golden. If you receive a Mystery Egg, you will see a pop-up that allows you to post a feed to your wall. This pop-up will also tell you what type of egg you received.
- Once you post the feed to your wall, up to 5 of your friends can click on the feed. These friends will receive various items, including different colored chickens!
- Please note that you can only have one Chicken Coop on your farm! If a player receives multiple Chicken coops, the additional Chicken Coops will become Chickens that can be used on your Farm.
- To place a chicken in the Chicken Coop, click on a chicken, and select the “Move” option. You will then be able to hover the chicken over your Chicken Coop and release it. When the chicken is hovered over the Chicken Coop, the Chicken Coop will light up with a yellow outline.”

I have found a glitch that works with both Dairy Farms AND Chicken coops.
The FIRST animal you put into an empty building will set that buildings Ready Status.
Therefore if you put a 100% cow in the building as the FIRST animal in it, the building will be 100% ready to harvest.
You can then fill the building with animals that are 0% ready to harvest and the building will let you harvest all of the animals at once.
Simply empty the building afterward, drop 1 more 100% animal in, building will be 100% ready to harvest, fill up with the other 0% animals, harvest…
Rinse and Repeat…
Though many would find this helpful for getting their Zoologist Ribbon.

Wondering why it appears that you are paying to “reuse” your chickens when you pull them from the coop. When I click on “remove chickens” I get a screen with my chickens listed…but when I go to “use” one, 400 coins are deducted from my account…

Did any one observe that after we sold out our chicken coop, Architect ribbon is (-) in number, and it will not (+) even if built in the new one!!!????? At the end Architect number will come to 0??

If you empty out your chicken coop and sell it for 650 coins and then ask a neighbour to gift you a chicken coop and then you sell that one for 650 and then ask a neighbour to gift you a chicken coop and when you get that one can you sell it for 650 and keep doing this to get coins from selling a coop?

I have the Coop and multi-colored chickens but since the coop was made – I have NOT received a singe special egg from any of my chikens – I have filled the coop and tried a few cyckes and nothing – 1/2 filled and nothing – all but 1 or 2 and Still no eggs for me – What gives???
Also – I have friends that have their animals on “Allow to walk” but their animals won’t move around – Mine are fully active and they constantly walking around – why is that?? Do other people have either issue?

if you click an animal and it says “allow walk” then it is currently in STAY mode. so you must CLICK “ALLOW WALK”. the animal stat bar should then show the opposite of the mode it is in.

Hm so one of my neighbors has 2 coops and I have no idea how he did it.
Also he posts a mystery egg about every 20 minutes.. and he posts like 12+ eggs a day.. its crazy!
I haven’t tried this yet, but I think I figured out how he does it… I think…. The chicken coop readiness is based on the readiness of the first chicken you put in?.. so if you leave your coop empty & then put in 1 chicken that is 100% ready, it will make your chicken coop 100% ready so you can just fill the rest of it up with non-ready chickens just to increase the likelihood of getting an egg. Then if you have enough chickens, you can just take all of them out and put in another ready chicken then refill the rest of the coop w/ non-ready chickens & still harvest the coop. It’s just a matter of emptying and re-filling the coop.

Open two seperate tabs or browser windows. It does not matter which browser that you are using, you can open two seperate windows or two tabs.
The first tab (Tab 1) should have the farmville news feed open.
The second tab (Tab 2) should have the farmville game open.
You also need enough coins to buy a chicken coop (5,000).
1. Tab 2, Take all of the chickens our of your chicken coop.
2. Tab 2, Sell your empty coop (open the market and go to the buildings and make sure you are able to buy a coop but do not buy it yet).
3. Tab 1, Look through your newsfeed for an egg (at this point any color egg will become a coop for you)
4. Tab 1, click to hatch the egg (make sure you get a coop with the blue ok button but do not click it yet).
5. Tab 2, Buy the Chicken coop, and place it on your farm. You will get a white mystery egg to give out, MAKE SURE THAT YOU SHARE the mystery egg and then click accept on all other windows that pop up in the game before moving to step 6.
6. Close Tab 2
7. Tab 1, click on blue ok button to accept the coop.
8. Tab 1, after accepting the coop, Farmville will load your farm and your second Chicken coop will be in your gift box, place it and share another mystery egg so others can get their second coop too!

My animals wouldn’t walk before and now they do all of a sudden. I didn’t do anything special, they just started moving one day.
And as for finding your own eggs, it’s just at random, be patient.

FarmVille has limited the number of mystery eggs. If your coop turned out one, you have to wait for the following day to turn out another!

Did they fix the trick? I managed to get two coops. I’ve got one on my farm & one in my gift box, but every time I try to place the 2nd one on my farm, I get the message “Your game state is out of sync with the server. Please refresh.” It will NOT let me place it! GRRR!

It takes money to build the best farm, but it also takes gaining experience level points in order to advance. When you advance in FarmVille, you are able to buy seeds that pay better money when harvesting and you can also buy a larger farm. Cheats and tricks, as well as hints for FarmVille are useful when you want to get to a higher level quickly, make more money, get better gifts, buy better decorations or even help friends out by sending them multiple gifts on the same day.
FarmVille cheats and tricks are available online but many of them do not work. You can gain experience by simply playing the game, and you do not have to download any additional programs in order to cheat FarmVille. Farming is all about hard work and you do have to put some elbow grease into it if you wish to have the best and biggest farm on Facebook. I have found these FarmVille cheats and tested them on my own. Although I enjoy playing the game fairly, I like to test out a new method in order to help someone else out.
FarmVille Experience Level Points Cheat That Works
When you are playing FarmVille sometimes you will run into the problem of having a lot of money but not available land to plant more seeds order to get experience points. This cheat is useful when you are also very close to a higher experience level but have no plots available to plow or harvest for points. You do need some money saved up in order to use this trick, so do not buy decorations or spend FarmVille coins on things that will not gain experience points.
To get started you will need 10 plots that are empty or need to be plowed. Calculate how much money you will need to plant what you really want to harvest, such as watermelons that take 4 days to harvest but sell for 348 FarmVille coins. You will not planting watermelons right away in these plots so be patient, reserve 1300 FarmVille coins for seeds planting and 150 coins for plowing those future watermelon plots.
To start this FarmVille cheat that really works, plow your 10 plots and buy soybeans. It will cost 150 coins to plow and 150 coins to plant soybeans, but delete those plot using the shovel tool immediately after seeds have been planted.
Now you might wonder why you should delete FarmVille plots in order to gain experience level points, but plowing and planting soybeans will gain you 30 points on those 10 plots. You can repeat this cheat process, each time it will cost 300 FarmVille coins in order plow and plant, then delete using the shovel. You will see your FarmVille experiences quickly rising and coming closer to the next level where your ultimate goal is. After you have accumulated all the wanted experiences and gained a new level, you can plant the exact seeds that you wanted to buy. Experience level FarmVille cheat can be done as quickly as you can plow, plant and delete. You can even expedite the process by using your harvester, tractor and seeder if you already have them.
Getting Unlimited Gifts On FarmVille Cheat That Works
The best FarmVille cheat that will get you free coins is sending multiple gifts from one Facebook account. You can ask a friend or a family member that is already playing FarmVille to help you out with this. Return the favor by sending multiple gifts to them on FarmVille using the same trick. In order to use this trick to get more coins fast you will need to use FireFox instead of Internet Explorer.
Login to Facebook and go to Farmville, then click on Free Gifts. Instead of selecting and sending the item right away, right click on the button Free Gifts and select “Open in new window”. Continue doing so until you have several windows opened. I have tested this FarmVille trick with up to 10 windows opened at the same time. Do it late at night or early in the morning, when Facebook is less busy and you will not get error messages in the browser.
On each window, select gifts and you can select a different gift to give in each browser. Then select your FarmVille friends. Again you can select different users in each browser to send gifts to using this cheat. Continue to the window of confirming to Send free gift to FarmVille friends. Click on confirm and Send button one after one, and each window will send out that gift. This trick is also called unlimited gift cheat, as you can open up as many windows as your computer can handle as long as they are opened at the same time, and confirmation is done once all of the opened windows are at the confirm to send option.
Friends and family can send you unlimited gifts on FarmVille the same way or you can open up a fake Facebook account to send yourself gifts to. Facebook though does not always appreciate fake users, due to the fear of spamming, so sharing this trick with FarmVille buddies works best to get unlimited gifts every day.
Getting Free Coins FarmVille Cheat That Works
The cheat to get free FarmVille coins is very simple, sell your multiple gifts that you receive daily. Animals and trees look nice, but I think that they take up space that can be used for real money making by planting and harvesting. You can keep a few animals such as goats, horses and chickens on FarmVille because they pay good in coins when goodies are collected. As far as trees go, cherry and peach trees are completely useless and do not pay well. Banana, olive and date trees pay better coins when harvested so you can keep a few of those and get rid of the rest.
Now, you can still get every gift using FarmVille and get it in unlimited amounts on a daily basis. Just instead of keeping them – sell them! I receive trees on FarmVille and keep them for harvest only once, then sell them immediately after harvesting is completed. At the time the tree is gifted to you it did not cost a coin, so it’s okay to use it for one harvest. After that it takes too long for it to complete and it will take up space. Use coins collected from selling trees and animals to buy soybeans seeds for your experience level cheat.
Building the best and biggest farm of FarmVille takes hard work, and planting, harvesting and plowing multiple times a day. That is the best way to gain the most out of FarmVille and is not even a cheat, it’s more of a helpful hint. FarmVille requires doing a little math in order to harvest in a timely manner.
FarmVille gives you a set amount of time until your crops can be harvested. If pumpkins take 8 hours to grow, you have an additional 8 hours to harvest that crop after it has finished growing. When planting, add the same amount of time it takes to grow to the time it takes to harvest and that is how long you have until the crop goes bad. I do not plant raspberries, they give you no experience points but can help get ribbons. I have only planted and harvested raspberries once on FarmVille, since that was all that “Green Thumb” ribbon required.
Blueberries pay the most FarmVille coins and can make you good money during the day, when you are available to plant and harvest multiple times a day. It takes four hours for blueberries to grow and you can harvest them while at work or playing on the computer. Do this multiple times a day and then at night plant a crop such as tomatoes and pumpkins that take eight hours to grow. You will have eight hours for them to finish growing, but also an additional eight hours to harvest in case you are not up early in the morning. Aloe Vera takes 6 hours to grow, or you can plant Rice which takes 12 hours to grow and you can harvest this crop on FarmVille as soon as you get up in the morning.
Never plant only one crop on your entire farm in FarmVille. Plant different items and combine blueberries, tomatoes, pumpkins, watermelons and grapes. For lower levels, try a mix of strawberries, soybeans and rice. This helps time pass by and it will keep you harvesting throughout the day, which then gets you FarmVille coins and allows you to gain a lot of experience points all day long.
If you insist on having FarmVille animals, then move them to the side where only one row of space is left. They do not need a large enclosed pen in order to live, and especially since animals do not get your experience points on FarmVille. Many of them just take up space and do not get you a lot of FarmVille coins. So push them off to the side, and utilize maximum space for your FarmVille plots. The best FarmVille cheat that works is remembering that planting and harvesting crops pays the most coins, and not animal collecting.

In Regards to the Chicken Coops,
Zynga made it so that you can have only one coop. I tried and tried too but i couldn’t get it either. So i searched around. I found that Zynga has found out that people were doing this hack and fixed it. Now you can only have one coop as far as they know for now. I’m sure someone will figure out a new way to get multiple coops, Please if anyone figures out a way post it on here for everyone.

I saw the getting two chicken coops cheat awhile ago and just try it out without reading the new updates, disappointment. I am level 38 with out cheating, but I just thought it would be nice to have two chicken coops when I have so many other chickens running around my farm. I have spent about 30,000 trying to install a 2nd coop and after following the instructions completly i add the 2nd coop from my gift box and then a box appears on my screen saying that it is out of sync and that i have to reload my page and when i do reload the coop is back in my gift box and everytime i place it on my farm it says the same thing about being out of sync again and again….can someone please tell me how to fix this…please add me on facebook my name is Nicole McIntyre my pic is of me with a labatt blue bottle in front of me….please let me know

I have 2 chicken coops and I was just fooling around and clicked buy (even though it said locked and the buy button was grey) and I allowed me to buy another one and place on my farm. Must be a glitch, try it out, maybe you will get lucky too? Be sure to have the space before you try as you cannot let it go and try again, I tried again but it didnt work for a 3rd coop

Okay listen!!! For everyone that thinks they have the answer to this problem……………….READ the issue before you throw in your 5 cent info!! Many people are experiencing the “stay/allow walk” problem. Everyone knows that when “stay” is displayed on the drop down, the animals can roam. When “allow walk” is displayed, the animals are idle. So, what issue needs to be resolved when the animals DO NOT roam around and “stay” is displayed in their drop down? Please do not respond with “just click allow walk” or “just click stay”…..that is not the answer! Animals are not fenced in, nor are they blocked by any objects and when they are allowed to walk, meaning their drop down display says “stay”, they will not move while the cursor remains on the board. Does anyone have a real technical answer to this problem?

As soon as you hatch the egg – before pressing ok and go to buy a coop – the buy button gets locked – so this method does not work – but it will cost you to sell your old coop to try it …..

Chicken coops are useless, since you cant buy chickens for coin at the market, only FV dollars. For the average farmer you might as well just let them roam.

FarmVille Fixed The 2 or More CHICKEN COOP CHEAT, You Can STILL do it, You Can Still Place the Extra COOPs on the Farm BUT when you TRY and USE them you will get a message saying your farm is out of sync, then when your farm resets your EXTRA coops are back in gift box. Dec 10 was the date it was fixxed.

I would like to know why we can have several dairy farms and fill those up with cows, but can only have one chicken coop. I would like to be able to purchase more please. thank you.

So, I tried the trick, too, and got the second chicken coop. Yet farmville won’t let me place it anywhere. I try and when I refresh the page it’s back in my gift box. I can’t offer the second mystery egg either when I place the coop. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

if you have more than 20 chickens, you can still get multiple daily mystery eggs with one coop. once you harvest the coop, remove the 20 “spent” chickens and replace them with 20 “ripe” chickens, and collect the eggs from the coop again. I’ve got over 100 chickens and sometimes get 3 or 4 batches of eggs in a day.
sure would be easier if the multiple coops cheat worked – takes a long time to move 40 chickens in and out of a coop! but i am getting the “game is out of sync” message too. shame i wasted 5000 coins buying another coop.

I HAVE A FRIEND TODAY ON MY NEIGHBORS LIST WHO GOT 12 COOPS TODAY. SHE CLAIMS IT HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE EXPANDING HER BARNS. SHE SAID, I EXPANDED MY FARM, THEN WENT TO PUT A CHICKEN IN MY COOP. IT GOT LOST BEHIND THE COOP AND SO I MOVED THE COOP TO GET IT. WHEN I MOVED THE COOP, I NOTICED I HAD 2 COOPS, SO I KEPT DOING IT, AND NOW I HAVE 14 COOPS. I AM NOT SURE HOW TO DO THIS, BUT IF ANYONE HAS ANY ANSWERS, I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE IT.

so far i have gotten “30 fuel refills, Zen Garden, Carousel, Parade Float” out of golden eggs. “Picnic Basket, and Scarecrow” our of white eggs. i havent seen anythign fancy out fo the black and brown eggs.
also currently i have only gold eggs in my farm so obviously only gold eggs when they come out.
i saw someone with 5 chicken coops today. i would like to know that glitch.

Hi My name is Darla Marshall , I am at level 25 and I have a lot of money on my farm ,
I was just wondering how to get more green cows, a second , and third chicken coop , and more trees, if anyone knows how to get more cows and green cows , Please let me know because I would love to have a full dairy farm of green cows, also I would like to know how to get a green baby calf , If anyone knows how to do this or has a trick I would sure like to know .

Darla, from all i know you only get cows when you simply find them on your farm. Green baby calves are from dairy farms, more exactly if you have a bull in there and green cows; each time you harvest the farm you have a chance of getting a calf, the color depends on what cows you have in there(and/or what kind of cows the bull likes *wink* ). About the coops i can’t help, i only have one myself ( and about 60-70 chickens)and tried i dunno how many cheats and glitches..oh well, c’est la vie.

for DRock, the glitch you are speaking of i got instructions myself just the other day on how to do it, however it no longer works, it was fixed about a week ago. but it was having to put your chicken coop in the top right corner of your farm, then you buy a storage unit, like barn or tool shed, expand it twice, after it is fully expanded you would have two more chicken coops under the one in the corner. but i have tried it several times and it no longer works.
For those that are are having issues with your animals roaming around, you need to make sure you 1. don’t have them on don’t walk, if the menu says allow walk, you need to click that. 2. make sure they have somewhere to move around to. if you have them stuck in a tight spot and no room to wander they won’t go anywhere.
3. if you have them allowed to walk, and they have plenty of room to move around then try clearing your browser cache, or use a different browser. it might fix the problem.
For the person who asked about cows, green cows especially, and trees.. you can ask your friends to gift trees to you, you can also buy some in the market. normal brown and white cows can be gifted to you. The green cows however are no longer for sale, and those are hard to come by, you may find one in a mystery box, and possibly on a friends page for adoption, but don’t hold me to the last one.. they are hard to get and the green baby calfs never grow up. I just don’t get what the problem is you can get endless dairy farms and just one chicek coop..i go crazy harvesting those cickens…why limit it to one?? when there are so many people having this problem?? just unlock it and let people play…..

When buying the chicken coop, it says that you can harvest for some amount every day, is that on top of what the individual chickens produce or is that the maximum for the chicken coop? I believe it was 500.
And the same question about dairy farm and horse stable?

Why i can not get 2 chicken crops i do have to many chickens and I think is gona be perfect if we can get more than 1 like dairy farm like nurcery barn i realy need an other chicken crop ASAP or i will sell my chickens :0
