Having more Chickens will increase the opportunities of finding Mystery Eggs!Chicken Coop Expansion will work similarly to the Barn Raising or Storage Expansion method. You can post a Facebook notification asking your neighbors for help via a good ole fashioned Barn Raising for your Chicken Coop or you can purchase the upgrade in the Market.
With the help of your FarmVille neighbors you can increase the capacity of your Chicken Coop from 20 Chickens to 40 Chickens called the “Big Coop” and from 40 to 60 Chickens maximum capacity called the “Huge Coop”. You will need the help of 10 friends for each star level of expansion and will have 3 days to complete this expansion.

Facts on Chicken Coop Expansion (from Zynga):
- Chicken Coop Expansion functions the same as Storage Expansion (Barn Raising).
- Your Chicken Coop can be expanded twice.
- You can purchase expansions or you can ask your friends to help you increase your Coop size.
- The Big Coop has a capacity of 40 chickens.
- The Huge Coop has a capacity of 60 chickens.
- The chance of finding mystery eggs continues to increase with more chickens.

ooooopppsss….i hope this is a glitch but i was at 100 storage and clicking on expand chicken coup gave me the same 100 item limit notification as it does on storage barn….if the total limit of storage items AND chicken coup is 100, thats really baddd

I noticed expansion for CC is offered whether you have 1 or many. I was hoping with the statement coming from Zynga last week that they would only allow one coop to be expanded.

i did mine it goes up to 60. and i got a chicken coop from a gold egg! all my neighbours did too! must be a glitch, why finally allow more than 1 when they just added expansion

Same problem with max storage here as well. Have 96 with the barns and trying to expand the coop and it says you are at 100, sorry. this bites!

I got a coop from an egg too, which would be nice if we were allowed to place it on our farm, which we are not.
So yeah, we can’t get actual prizes from eggs until they fix this…

You all are having a roaring good time expanding your chicken coops and a couple of you even got a second chicken coop.
Me….. I got nothing. NO EXPANSION of the chicken coop!!
How do I get this rectified??????? I want to expand too !!!!

Don’t worry Pigtails, they can’t place those coops on their farms, which means that they aren’t getting anything from eggs except coops that they have to sell anyway… I’m sure yours will be updated soon, I wouldn’t worry about it…

Yeah I got a second coop from an egg, can’t place it on the farm so don’t feel bad. It is however giving me that storage notice for moving to 60 capacity & I am at the 100 item storage capacity. I don’t know if I can go for a second expansion yet or not.

Mystery eggs held chicken coops this afternoon. I received three. When I tried to put them on my farm, “out of snyc” sign came up. They would go back to the gift box. An hour later they turned into chickens. Now, why give coops, then take them away?????
That stinks!!!!!!! I am ready to quit FV – too many glitches.

Can’t figure out how to ask for additional help expanding coop. Farmville allowed me to post once to my facebook page to ask for help, and 3 friends helped on day one. Now I cannot figure out how to ask for help again. My 3 days will expire before I can expand my coop!

I wish they would extend or remove the time limited to expand storage buildings. 3 days is NOT enough….we do have a life outside of FV. Plus this is no reminder posts.
Another glitch for the coop…Have you noticed that it takes more that 14 friends to help BEFORE the notice pops up that you are finished one stage expansion.
This was the notice:
“XX finished their barn raising!
XX wants to thank Y,Y, Y, Y, Y and 14… others for their help upgrading their Chicken Coop”
I count 19 here! This happened both times I expanded my coop. Can they fix this to reflect the end after the stated 10 friends have helped ?

Can anyone tell me – if this increases the number of mystery eggs you can get, is there a chance you can get more than one mystery egg? Whats the max number at? Or is it still just one?

When are they going to expand the chicken coop again. I am over run with chickens. Might have to start having chicken for dinner. How come you can have more than 1 dairy shed but only 1 chicken coop.

The upgrade doesnt work for me I tried 2 times to upgrade…
First time I had 8 people helping and 1 day left and it suddenly dissapeared…like I canceled it somehow
Second time I had 6 people after just 1 hour of giving the upgrade request … again the upgrade canceled….wtf?

same here, im on my third try now to expand it. First time i had like 3 people, second time was earlier today and i was at 9 people. I restarted it and now at 6 people… Ill try to update to see if it worked or not.

I click upgrade, it posts to my site. I get no info in my ccop about how many people I need and when someone tries to click it says the barn raising is over but my coop has not expanded. I have tried 2x’s today and get the same thing. Any ideas?

Hi,
Everytime I try to expand my chicken coop I fail because after some time when I check how many clicks I have my expanding option is still untouched so no clicks. Sometimes I even get close … 6 -7 clicks then same thing, the option to expand is still there (…) but not counting the clicks ….
Please ! solutions

Hi, I have been trying to expand my Chicken Coop for about a month now and I have a neighbor (Kathy Harris) who is also trying to expand, WITH NO SUCCESS!!! So why can’t we expand??? Getting tried of trying. HELP!! PLEASE.

Go to your Facebook page
Scroll down to your post
Click on “Click here to help.”
It will give you a notice saying you cannot help yourself
Highlight the web page address
Copy
Go to your page to make a new post
Write something like “Chicken Coop Upgrade Link Please Help”
Click Link
Paste web address and attach link
