Farmville DOG?!

Many people are requesting that Farmville add a dog. What farm doesn’t have a dog?!
I must admit I was a little surprised to see a baby elephant in Farmville before a dog. It’s probably just a matter of time before they add a dog which leaves many of us wondering what it will look like.
Is this the future Farmville dog?

I agree that a dog would be a nice addition to the FarmVille animal crew, but whta exactly would it produce? Considering the idea of the game is to make money, level up, and farm……what could the lost puppy produce……what does one get out of adopting a puppy?

i reckon baby animals will be added, i had wrote a long, long comment on this subject and i pressed back by accident, fs!, ill sum it up tho, on the first comment if u look in the pic on the link joe posted, you can see baby animals, baby goats and baby ducks. i think farmville will add baby animals, kittens (rabbits), cygnets (swans), foal (horse), duckling (duck), kids (goat), lamb (sheep), calfs, (cows), i doubt theyll add more elephants, but they may do, because it is already a baby, this also obviously would mean, different sexes of animals so males such as drakes, bulls, rams etc. and females such as cows, ewes, pens etc. I reckon farmville will do this b4 adding dogs and cats, because it will mean you will be able to raise animals from young (pets). i think they may actually add the elephants tbh, and then make the expansion available, if they do this they truly will be crowned farmville gods
and im pretty sure its not beyond them, remember, i predicted it first, tell ur friends :L

wait till the thing a bout farmville comes up. There is a dog, orange cat, and baby versions of goats, pigs, ducks, and sheep (possibly chickens, cant tell)

They should give out a random amount of dogs and they should produce puppies that you then post on you wall so your friends can adopt them. It would be interesting to see how long it would take for everyone to get a puppy.

not surprised there would be a dog added to farmville, its about time, since they just implemented the cat into it. but theres a few other things i would like to see…i was fartin around with this other farmville knock off called farmtown (looks like it was made with windows paint) and they have some decent ideas i would like see put into Farmville such as Paths, like a walkway, dirt path, stone path..things of that nature. another thing they have is rivers, river parts that go right, left and corner parts (same as they have with the paths). this would be GREAT in farmville, i would absolutely LOVE it. and the one obvious thing everyone would like to see is the storage system which they have, but again, the knock off farm town is lacking in ALOT of places, im still a farmville freak/junkie/addict/fan whatever you want to call me….i just can’t stop watching my farm!

I totally agree with the cat and dog problem and happy that the cat at least has been added. I would also love different breeds of dogs, perhaps. As for harvesting, there are always options. You could have a guard dog that catches robbers or other animals or perhaps a sheep dog that moves and protects the sheep. I would also love to see a donkey! They are such amazing animals!

I only have about 4 friends that actually play this game on my facebook friends list… So I haven’t even gotten a cat or brown cow and I only have 1 turtle.

most of the “special” animals on the site are due to it being a “stray”…it then has a pop up stating…(ex a lost cat was found by kathy and needs a home) at which time you need to go to answer that neighbor asap…to be the one to adopt the animal….

Farmville has held out releasing the dog so you can make a bigger deal out of it. They want you to be really excited when it comes out so you will want to spend more Farmville cash on it. I’m excited too though, and I will be waiting for it co come out!

We need a varity of dogs, german sheperds of courss(first and formost) prefered dog of all of E.U., Labs, pittbulls(like Cezar Milan departed pitty “daddy”) … hopefully we wont all get stuk with scruffy there

Okay every midnight they have me saving my farmville cash… for the doggie… I don’t care the breed… stop wagging the tail… bring it on. You know they are going to make the big bucks on this. Lets hope it costs the same as a cat/kitten or I think the cats should revolt!!!!

I don’t understand why the animals aren’t more productive. Most farm dogs mind the cows or sheep. I think the only way I would justify spending FV dollars on a dog is if he rounds up the sheep for me, so I don’t have to collect wool from each one. Kind of like the chicken coop, only the dog could have an option to “round up the sheep” and then collect all the wool at once.
Also – why can’t FV have a right-click for the menu list, and the left-click be the default harvest/collect… I hate clicking through the menu for every non-crop item. I accidentally hit sell sometimes and have to wait through the process of the windows slowly popping up to ask if I really want to sell my cheap tree.

theirs 3 breeds – In the Zynga game, ‘Petville’, you have to find 3 clues scattred around your’s and your neighber’s houses but Nosie’s house, it has been confirmed that you will be able to get a Golden Retriever, English sheep dog, and a Border Collie. Border Collies are 1st, 2nd is Golden Retriver and 3rd is English Sheep Dog
