FarmVille Heeler: All Grown Up

Posted on June 4, 2010 1:08 am by FarmVille Freak CabbagePatchKid

Just 14 days ago the Heeler Puppy was added to the FarmVille Market for 65$FV. If you bought your Heeler (Gray Black or Brown) the first night, 14 careful feedings later it should have grown up tonight!

Adult Heelers will need to be fed treats for 14 days like all other breeds of FarmVille Dogs. Treats will train dogs to perform tricks, each breed has a unique ‘special trick’ that is learnt on the final and 14th dog treat feeding.

The Heeler’s special trick will help to harvest Cows.

  9. Mark Says:

I have a grown up Golden Retriever that has learned all the tricks including “Fetch” BUT they say she is still resting before she is able to perform that trick. I really wish they would simply allow that last trick to function like an Arborist, so that my dog would harvest trees… even if limited to only once or twice a week, would be useful and appreciated!

  10. Mark Says:

By the way, I have been feeding the Golden Retriever biscuits for 31 days now waiting for “Fetch” to become functional… sigh.

  11. Mark Says:

    Dear moderator.
If you are going to keep deleting my posts about Golden retrievers not learning the FETCH trick after 31 days…
Please start a new section addressing this very significant problem!
    Thank you.

  12. badgebelle Says:

They’re actually called Australian Cattle Dogs – never go to a breeder and call it a Heeler!

  13. Rob Gould Says:

I’m going to have to agree w/ Mark.My dogs have been ready now and still no final trick.
When is zynga/farmville going to apply the final trick?I keep buying the dog treats so I don’t lose the final trick and it’s getting costly in FVC.

  14. Ashley Says:

I’ve been waiting to purchase a dog because I would really like to know what the golden actually retrieves. If anyone knows can you please let me know as I’m sooooo curious. Thanks!

  15. Anne Says:

cute! i wish they didn’t cost that much.

  16. Denis Says:

@Anne we all want that .they are all really nice and pretty but see the bright side. They dont do anything but following u around(for now)

  17. Jennifer Says:

I hope they can help harvest cows soon…I’ve got almost 200 cows and could use the help

  18. sam Says:

I’m new and a bit confused…need all the help I can get! Thanx to you all for your. Suggestions. I’ll keep going and hope I don’t kill any thing!!!

  19. stacey Says:

How long do we need to feed these dogs until harvest is an actual option???? feeding every day is ridiculous unless they do something

  20. lolwut Says:

it’s thw ugliest dog of all available lol

  21. Jason Says:

Wait…ummm why are people continuing to feed their dogs after leaning all their tricks before the final one. I stopped feeding my dog since then, and don’t plan to feed again until the last trick becomes available.

  22. geo Says:

im so happy that i dont spaid my cash and my money for the Heeler one because when it was a puppy was so adorable but now looks fat and ugly!!

  23. ldsanjose Says:

I think the graphics on the heeler are not up to farmville standards. To me, it looks like someone colored it in with a coloring crayon. I was also very disappointed with the llama graphics. Am I the only one thinking this?

  24. Teresa Says:

Am I the only person who has 2 dogs who no matter how many times I have tried they do not do ANY OF THE TRICKS!!!!!!!! Is there something I am missing here are do I just have 2 stupid dogs???

  25. SuperAwesomeFarmerT Says:

Ummm that is the ugliest dog I have ever virtually seen!! And so certain people know you dont have to continue feeding your dog treats after you’ve reached the mastery of the harvest trick, you just wait until it become available, I have not fed my dog once since that last treat required for the mastery of harvest and my dog is still there and I dont have him trapped in anything, so the point is your the reason why your wasting your FVC on doggie treats, you silly farmers. Dont believe me look back on the posts about the dogs and Im sure it will say exactly that. Happy Farming and happy needlessly spendin and complainin!!

  26. Samuel Says:

This is the ugliest dog I have ever seen in my life.

  27. Kitty Says:

I used my dog to harvest the ducks and that’s the last of saw of her…ggggrrrrrrr

  28. dasher928 Says:

she’s the one who voices meg in family guy… COOL =)

  29. Pam Says:

@Kitty, That happened to me too. After feeding the puppy and growing it and then treating it for seems like weeks I sent it to harvest and it disappeared!!!! Any idea how to get them back?

  30. Sarah Says:

I’ve fed my border collie treats everyday and she has reached her final trick. Do I still need to feed her everyday? She’s “hungry” everyday, but what happens if I stop feeding her treats at this point?

  31. laylaC Says:

Well all the dogs can do their final trick now and anyone still having trouble should hit up the zynga message boards and the help section….
(You’re dog shouldn’t still be hungry after the final trick, btw)

Down to business: Does anyone know when the message center is going to be up and running? I have over 130 friends that send me gifts all the time and having to go to my facebook to get them is really a pain in the neck considering how easy the message center was and how I only farmville.com to play the game. Anyone have updates on that??

  32. Onix Says:

Is the Heeler capable also of Harvesting Calves or its only good for cows? What about bulls….
