FarmVille Horse Stable Upgraded!
FarmVille has upgraded the Horse Stable!

FarmVille Freak Amy's Stable Coin Reward Notice
The Horse Stable is now possibly yielding Foals (baby Horses). You may place the new adoptable Wandering Stallion or any other Stallions such as the White Stallion (Past Mystery Box Prize) in your Horse Stable and increase the chances of yielding a Foal. When collecting from your Horse Stable you may produce a Foal and have the opportunity to share with your FarmVille neighbors via Facebook newsfeed. The Foals are quite adorable, and even though you may want to keep it for yourself, the only way to get one is by adoption.
Note: You may only have one Stallion in your Horse Stable at one time. The Wandering Stallion is not a permanent animal like other adoptables, it is more of an event. (Please read details below from Lexilicious).
Additionally, you will now receive coin rewards when harvesting or collecting form your Horse Stable.
Official word from FarmVille Community Manager, Lexilicious:
“Horse Stables:
Periodically, you will receive a pop-up informing you that a “Wandering Stallion” has appeared on your farm. This pop-up will allow you to post a feed to your wall. Ten of your Neighbors can click on this feed to give shelter to the Wandering Stallion.
Unlike other “Lonely” animals, the Wandering Stallion is an event, and is NOT a permanent animal that can be kept on your Farm.
If you choose to give the Wandering Stallion shelter, he will automatically be placed into your Horse Stable. If you have a Wandering Stallion, you have a chance of receiving a Foal the next time you collect from your Stable.
If you already have a Wandering Stallion in your Horse Stable, you will not be able to get another. Clicking on multiple Wandering Stallion feeds from your Neighbors will not increase the chances of a Foal being born.
When a Foal is born, you will receive a pop-up informing you that your newborn is eager to explore the world. This pop-up will allow you to post a feed to your wall. Five of your Neighbors can click on this feed to receive a Foal.
The type of Foal you receive is determined by the types of horse in your Stable. Please note that the Pink Pony, Brown Pony, High Kick Horse and Spectator Horse will produce a Brown Foal.
Once you harvest from your Stable and find a Foal, you will have to click on a new Wandering Stallion feed to have a chance of making another foal.
The Limited Edition “White Stallion” can be placed inside your Horse Stable and will act like a permanent Wandering Stallion. Each time you harvest from your Stable you will have a chance to find a Foal. If you receive a Foal, you will not get a consumable. If you do not get a Foal when collecting from your Stable, you still have a chance of receiving an Arborist, Farm Hand or 100 XP.
Baby Foals can be brushed every 24 hours and cannot be placed inside your Horse Stable.
If the Wandering Stallion does not give you a Foal and you also do not get a Consumable, you will receive a coin bonus.”

DId we not receive coins from horse stables before?
Posted on March 19th, 2010 at 5:29 pm
@Michelle
I think its more like the fertilized chicken coop. These are extra coins!
Posted on March 19th, 2010 at 5:32 pm
I wish we could keep a colt and give one to a friend instead of always giving them away and no one not posting for me to have one
Posted on March 19th, 2010 at 5:44 pm
You mention that now we will get coins, before we got Arborists, Farmhands and 100XP, does this mean that we will no longer get these items. If so this really sucks.
Posted on March 19th, 2010 at 5:50 pm
weird I’ve got 2 white stallions in there!
Posted on March 19th, 2010 at 5:59 pm
Okay I got a stallion but it never went to my gift box
Posted on March 19th, 2010 at 6:09 pm
The most unfair thing about not being able to keep foals yourself is that some of us have actually invested in the Clydesdale, Pinto and the new black horse – But we can’t keep the foals, we have to give em away
And we even pay for the horses. It’s the same with the Kelly green cow and pink patch cow. And the main part of the problem is that your neighbours maybe haven’t bought the special cows and horses. And so you will never get one special calf or foal yourself….
Posted on March 19th, 2010 at 6:10 pm
Since I all ready have a stallion (white) in my stable, will this prevent me from adopting a wandering stallion? Do you *have* to put him in the stable, or do you have the option of displaying him? It would be really unfair to be penalized for having purchased one.
Posted on March 19th, 2010 at 6:17 pm
i think it means if you dont yield a foal one day you get so much coin bonus to share with your friend on the facebook news feed, like the chicken coop does if you dont get an egg. i think they should have brought out the expansion before this, ive got a big pile of horses making a mess off my farm waiting for more space lol. ive always thought it was stupid you have to give everything away, whats wrong with keeping one of the gold eggs or the calfs or now the foals each time you find one youself, they should change that its pointless and unfair like farmkaizer said if you invest and everbody else profits from it :/

Okay, I need to change my name to “Cranky Kate” because it seems all my posts lately are complaints. This wandering stallion thing is bullcrap. It’s basically stud service — he stops by for the night, tries to knock up one of your mares, then goes on his way — all invisible. You never get to place him on the farm or do anything with him. Maybe they should call him the “midnight stallion”? Bullcrap, bullcrap, bullcrap. I actually got excited there for a minute thinking Zynga was giving us a treat. What the holy hell? Ugh. I’m so tired of this.
Posted on March 19th, 2010 at 6:25 pm
Some say to put the white stallion in the barn. Does that work? or does it only work with the wandering one? Do you have to spot the stallion your self or does it come as a box like others have in the past?
Posted on March 19th, 2010 at 6:26 pm
Yeah, why can’t they let you keep one for yourself AND share one with your friends?? Most of my friends don’t have any of the special horses (stallion, pinto, etc) that I spent FV cash to get, so I will probably never get one of their foals. No fair!!
Posted on March 19th, 2010 at 6:34 pm
As far as I can tell, the only two foals you’ll get out of the stable will be grey and brown – same colors as the horses that everyone probably has. And if you have the white stallion, he will be a permanent stud service for your mares (congratulations on that). I stopped short of spending enough FV cash to get the white stallion during the Valentine’s day mystery box event, so I don’t have one either.
I’m really getting tired of being disappointed.
Posted on March 19th, 2010 at 6:37 pm
I think u can also produce a pinto foal..my friend did
Posted on March 19th, 2010 at 6:38 pm
“Please note that the Pink Pony, Brown Pony, High Kick Horse and Spectator Horse will produce a Brown Foal.”
Yet another way people who actually buy farm cash get screwed. What was the point of buying these horses if we were only going to get brown foals? It’s bad enough people who bought horses have to just give the foals away. Flush the brown, stop being lazy and reward the people who buy farm cash, Zynga– you don’t have a lot of other things going for you right now & angering the money-spending fan base is a luxury you can’t afford.
Posted on March 19th, 2010 at 6:39 pm
Was just bemoaning that myself — I have five or six of each of the special cows or horses, and I doubt most of my neighbors have even one, yet they will be the beneficiaries of my spending on FV$.
Just tried to adopt a Wandering Stallion and got a pop-up saying I couldn’t because I already have a stallion (there were, in fact, two white ones inside). I removed those and tried again, and got a pop-up saying I’d given him shelter for the night. But he’s not in my gift box OR my stable, so I guess we don’t actually GET a Wandering Stallion, just some virtual horse sperm?
Posted on March 19th, 2010 at 6:40 pm
Pinto foal? Well at least that’s good news. Maybe we’ll see Clydesdale foals. That would be cool.
Posted on March 19th, 2010 at 6:42 pm
@lisa — yes, that’s exactly what happened to me. “Wham, bam, thank you ma’am. Here’s some coins on the dresser for your trouble. Buy yourself something cheap at the market…. lol…..”
Posted on March 19th, 2010 at 6:44 pm
That is pretty disappointing…I was thinking it was a regular animal
Posted on March 19th, 2010 at 6:46 pm
I’d love to know if the Farmville music changes to Barry White while the Stallion is “taking shelter”.
Posted on March 19th, 2010 at 6:47 pm
“Please note that the Pink Pony, Brown Pony, High Kick Horse and Spectator Horse will produce a Brown Foal.” – I actually don’t mind that. The High Kick and Spectator horses were already brown, and the Referee cow doesn’t produce baby refs, so it makes perfect sense. And, I would love to have a baby pony too, but it would be way more complicated to have a special new image thing programmed into it specially for that. And I have a Pink Haired pony thanks to a friend, and I’m not upset that I won’t have pink babies. Not a waste of money, if you really liked the thing you were getting. And if you got it just for a baby of that version, KNOWING you wouldn’t be able to get a foal from your own breeding (based on experience with the calves), then…your mistake. o.O
I DO mind that the wandering stallion isn’t staying. D: I would LOVE to keep that beautiful horse! It would be awesome if after his ‘stud’ service was used up, you could get him as a gelding or something, and he would be a placeable animal on the farm, appearing in your gift box and “deciding he liked it here, he stayed.”
This gives me the sinking feeling the Black Stallion will be another FVC purchase…
Posted on March 19th, 2010 at 6:59 pm
@Heather — I don’t think any of us purchased the special cows or horses EXPECTING to keep the special babies ourselves, we’re just complaining that we can’t benefit from having them in that particular way, and perhaps hoping that Zynga might take note of our plaints and change it to allow us to.
Posted on March 19th, 2010 at 7:13 pm
“What was the point of buying these horses if we were only going to get brown foals?” from post 16
That was the quote more or less that I based that statement on, and it sounded like it was pointless to get the horses if you couldn’t get special foals. The ‘point’ would be to enjoy the image, not expect a special benefit when the cows have never given the purchaser a special benefit either. I kept my reply vague because I know there’s more than just one person that thinks that, but I didn’t mean to make it sound like -everyone- felt like that. ^^;
Posted on March 19th, 2010 at 7:14 pm
Haha, I read your post wrong, oops! Um, ignore that then.
;
Posted on March 19th, 2010 at 7:25 pm
Hahaha… NOW would’ve been a good time to release that black stallion (even for FV$), cause ppl will get bored fast of hunting stallions on the feed they can only use for one day. And yes, we should be able to keep a foal for ourselves (otherwise it’s a waste of FV$, since the horses would stay INSIDE the stable, so we wouldn’t see them all the time on the farm) AND share one with friends…
Posted on March 19th, 2010 at 7:39 pm
I adopted one and it said the cangrats thing, then when I checked my box and NOTHING and I checked my stable NOTHING. Normal?
Posted on March 19th, 2010 at 8:07 pm
Hmmmm, so I gotta put my pretty horses I paid FV for in my stable and hide them? Or no, it doesn’t matter cuz all the foals will be boring gray and brown anyway…? Do I have to make room for my guest or does it just allow for 21 at the time? Yeh, giving away the cute foals. Ummm, right. sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Posted on March 19th, 2010 at 8:09 pm
I have 19 grey horses and a Clydesdale. I clicked on one stallion tonight and it did not appear in my giftbox..llike eveyone else is saying on the wall. But..i got a grey foal…so..is my clydesdale a male or did the stallion just not appear in the giftbox or the stable but still works????? does anyone know?
Posted on March 19th, 2010 at 8:10 pm
I also dont like the fact that I pay for FV cash and get all this stuff and have to gift it away..really FV.
Come on..
Posted on March 19th, 2010 at 8:24 pm
I don’t understand this give away stuff. Why? It’s so backa$$.
And Kim, from what I understand, you never see the stallion. He auto’ly goes into your stable I guess.
Posted on March 19th, 2010 at 8:32 pm
My stable wasn’t finished when I clicked on the stallion link because I thought it was just a normal adoptable
But I got one of each of the stable items free to help me finish which was pretty awesome
So my stable is finally done!
I was so uber excited when I saw this adoptable…what a MAJOR disappointment
The best adoptable animal–but not–so far(in my opinion) and we can’t even keep it
Bad form Zynga….bad form
Just thought I’d start on a positive note….so we also have to keep one slot open in our stable so we can get the stallion which is dumb
Posted on March 19th, 2010 at 8:42 pm
I tried to share the wandering stallion i found and it said my game server was out of sync directly after i clicked share, so it didnt work…. FML
Posted on March 19th, 2010 at 8:47 pm
I have a stable full of different coloured mares and 4 stallions. I’m interested in connecting with people that have a number of different coloured mares and a stallion as well . I’ll be happy to pull mine out of my stable to show you and would love to see the same.

Kate your comments carcked me up, thanks!
Posted on March 19th, 2010 at 8:49 pm
Duh, cracked me up
Posted on March 19th, 2010 at 8:49 pm
I think the change is awesome! We still chance for 100 XP’s, Arborists, Farmhands, and now a Foal! I think it’s pretty cool that it’s an “Event”…a Wandering Stallion. 10 of our friends/neighbors can get one from the “event”. So….sounds like if we don’t have a Stallion on our stable, then, the other elements apply. COOL!!! Was thinking I’d miss those items…so so so glad they are still part of collecting from the Stable. Very creative addition to the game really. I think it’s a great idea that we don’t always get a Foal from the Stable……already have a lot of calves! So how many baby Foals would one farm need? LOLOLOL—big smile! And, we get coins in lieu of the other items. Major Kudos to Zynga on the creativity of this one. Well done!!!!
Posted on March 19th, 2010 at 8:52 pm
oooh….and I do agree that a nice touch would be when we find an adoptable, we also get one, too! similar to collectables……..maybe one day! we can hope! (I have 6 clydesdales and would love to have a baby one, too!)
Posted on March 19th, 2010 at 8:55 pm
finally got a baby horse

I have two clydesdales. One in the stable, one not. I harvested tonight and it gave a gray foal. I’m gonna do some little tests gettting the wandering stallion versus the clydesdale.
Posted on March 19th, 2010 at 9:07 pm
What a complex way to NOT get a foal!
Posted on March 19th, 2010 at 9:09 pm
I keep seeing people saying they “won” the wandering stallion, but that nothing appears in your giftbox or in your stable. Has ANYONE experienced otherwise? If so, please let me know. I’m assuming this is how it is supposed to work… I hope
Posted on March 19th, 2010 at 9:10 pm
Guess I’ll put my clydesale in the stable after I use up the studley one:)
Posted on March 19th, 2010 at 9:15 pm
Zynga thinks we do not deserve one! Cool with me! More reasons to stop this game altogether, but I have already put thousands of bucks and a lot of energy! I am happy at least I will have farmville aversion for a while. Its so cheap! I have the white stallion! I feel sorry for the 13-year-old guy who would’ve love one! I won’t put anymore money on FV items! Thoroughly disappointed, I bought 6 valentine boxes to get the white stallion, not everyone would spend money on virtual stuff and I respect that! Would it hurt them to give one decent animal to a die-hard fan of this game! I am going to play my Sims 3 and Sims 2, and totally give up on this petty thief called Zynga. “Thank you guys” If they thought their crayon-scratchers recolored the white stallion to perfection and its worth FV$, why not give a mule-A$$ and claim it to be the resident stallion. Morons!
Posted on March 19th, 2010 at 9:31 pm
yea, i’m one who spends tons of cash here and my neighbors who don’t spend much if any will reap the rewards from the special horses that I have purchased via FarmCash. I agree, zynga throw us a bone, let us choose whether or not to keep it or give it up for adoption! I think we’ll just end up with the brown and grey foals.
@ Kate the Barry White comment was hilarious!
Posted on March 19th, 2010 at 9:34 pm
oh and the foals take up as much space as a full size horse, couldn’t they have decrease their “take up space” size?
Posted on March 19th, 2010 at 10:00 pm
do you have to remove one of your horses to make room for the new wandering stallion? i have 1/2 gray and 1/2 brown horses in my all filled up. I adopted a new wandering stallion for the night but when i went to my farm… nothing… it was not in my gift box and not in my stable? is it just invisible or is it not showing up because my stable was already full? please help on that thanks !
Posted on March 19th, 2010 at 10:58 pm
same here sharon, my giftbox was empty and have 20 horses inside, he is there even if you dont see him
sad, but true, got a foal then
Posted on March 20th, 2010 at 1:39 am
Oh crap!!! I wanted to have loads of palimino stallions on my farm… they look so much like my real life stallion
It sucks that we cant keep it like bulls…
but I have a permanent White stallion, black percheron, pinto and clydesdale. If you too have all of these. Please add me so we can have a chance to swap foals from eacother
Trine L. Feldmann is my facebook name!!!
Remember to tell my you have all of these, or I will not accept :p
Posted on March 20th, 2010 at 2:12 am
im going to tell you guys once and for all!!! you can get pinto foals not only just grey and brown!!! and when you get the stallion you will not be able to see it anywhere on your farm but it will still be there!!! it is like invisable!!! cause i got 1 today and i didnt know where it was but when i harvested i found a brown foal!!! they are invisable!!! so stop panicing!!! you will still get it!!!
Posted on March 20th, 2010 at 2:18 am
if you have rare horses or pink patch cows or kelly green cows can you plz add me? when you do plz leave a note saying that you have them so i can know that you want to be my farmville neighbor!!! if you dont i wont add you!!!
my name is blayne fletcher and my profile pic is of the pink patch calf!!! im pretty easy to find!!! im a daily player and im on level 36!! so plz add me?
Posted on March 20th, 2010 at 2:44 am
Hello everyone! I have never posted on here before but have read the posts. I enjoy this site and find it very helpful.
Anyway, to comment #50 and #52 we can be friends if you’d like and to anyone else who may be interested. I don’t have a lot of extra money so don’t spend much on Farmville. But I do have some of the FV cash cows and horses. I have only one pinto and one black percheron at the moment. I do hope to buy at the least another one of each. I have 9 pink patch cows (didn’t buy 10 because of the bull and only had one barn at the time) and 5 kelly green cows. I have those two types of cows in the same barn with a bull in hopes of a higher chance of getting a calf from one. So far I’ve been able to harvest 3 pink patch calfs since they came out but no kelly green calfs.
So, if you would like to add me here is my profile: http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?v=feed&story_fbid=102119616490656&id=100000538015767#!/profile.php?v=wall&id=100000538015767
Please tell me your reason for adding or I will not accept.
Thank you!
Posted on March 20th, 2010 at 2:57 am
For the people that only add neighbors with certain animals/items etc. you sound greedy. Its a game you play with your friends not strangers!!!! PS. Im on level 42 and have tons of mystery gifts/farmville cash items, so yes im pretty good at this game
Posted on March 20th, 2010 at 3:06 am
ah, so it automatically goes into the Horse Stable? its not invisible, you just cant have it directly on the farm. that kind of sucks, it’d be nice to be able to display it. so this means you can only have 1.
Posted on March 20th, 2010 at 3:12 am
…hm, and once you find a Foal, you have to click another wandering stallion to have another chance to find another foal. thats just silly.
Posted on March 20th, 2010 at 4:31 am
Lucv: I started out with only my real life friends… but guess what I have made so many new ones from adding random farmers
But if you add everyone you will end up with thousands… and I cant handle that many…. ha ha!!! It’s nothing to with greed!
Posted on March 20th, 2010 at 6:18 am
Looking for Clydesdale foal, Pinto foal and Percheron foal. Can give Pinto foal and Percheron.
Also own a Kelly Green Cow and a Pink Patch.
Please add me and leave a note.

you can also get a percheron foal (there’s an icon on the top left corner of the screen of your farm)
Posted on March 20th, 2010 at 9:46 am
I sheltered a stallion yesterday but it showed up it didn’t show up anywhere…not in my gift box and not in my stable. If I try to click to shelter another stallion I get a message saying that I already have one! Is the stallion something that WE DO NOT SEE? I’m a little confused. Any answers out here?
Posted on March 20th, 2010 at 9:48 am
I don;t know if anyone has notices this yet, but I had a wandering stallion in my stable, then it disappeared. I didn’t get a foal. Then when I tried to get another wandering stallion, I got a message that said I already had one in the stable. Has anyone else experienced this? I finally just put in my white stallion and I am not bothering with the wandering ones anymore.
Posted on March 20th, 2010 at 10:11 am
@ #24: So I’m just supposed to “enjoy the image” and not expect anything else for my real-life money? This isn’t an art sale; this is a game where things are supposed to change, be new & exciting every week, etc. If I wanted to simply enjoy an image like that I’d whip one out in photoshop & use it as my computer wallpaper. There are enough useless, non-functioning identical things in this game without having only grey & brown foals. These horses were sold to me as functioning animals, not decorations like most of the buildings, provencal flower pots, caterpillar et al. Just because the cow & dairy barns work one way is the precise reason we should expect new things to be different, to actually get more for our money instead of neighbors who never buy anything getting all our unique calves. Instead we get a wandering stallion having one night stands. We get no benefit to owning the unique horses we paid real-life money to have, except stowing them away in the barn WHERE WE CAN’T EVEN ENJOY THE IMAGE just to get a grey or brown foal that I can’t keep and enjoy either. I got the pink ponies TO FUNCTION & ENJOY THE IMAGES, not to hide away in a barn for Walter Mondale Stud Service.

i received a stallion but its not in my gift box nor in my stable…how come???? is it imaginary or invisible..lol
Posted on March 20th, 2010 at 11:38 am
Lucy- Were not greedy, i mean like think about it, if we add them they get to see our feed to with all of our special animals and etc..so its not like were being greedy! We are atchually sharing the fun experience of the game with eachother.
Posted on March 20th, 2010 at 12:17 pm
I have the special horses and both pink patch cow and kelly green cow. if you want to add me please do
name is Sunny Shawley my pic profile is a face shot I have red hair so you cant miss that LOL
thanks would love to share the special animals with others that bought the same animals and are having trouble getting the special babies
Posted on March 20th, 2010 at 12:38 pm
I have a Clydesdale in my horse stable, just one and my first foal was the Clydesdale. From what I gather, you have to continually giving the Wandering Stallion shelter for the night in order to get a foal, but the white stallions are permanent. Meaning you don’t lose them, the Wandering Stallion, you do. I would love to be able to get the Clydesdale, Pink and Brown foals, in addition to the Pinto and Percheron foals. I have to buy the Percheron Horse, but it’s nice to know that it’s a permanent horse and not a limited time animal. I hate that. They should bring back the limited items as free gifts for one day. That would be cool. They should also allow you to choose which item you want from the Mystery Box in the Market. Who want to waste money on three of something they don’t even want one of trying for that one item they do.

It’s panagiotis prantzalos it’s of photo of my head on the top corner leave note saying that u want to add me for fv i got the white stallion so i probably will produce colts on regular basis
Posted on March 20th, 2010 at 12:44 pm
has anyone even seen a clydesdale foal yet? i have a clydesdale in my stable and i am wondering if it will produce a foal or if i should just put the clydesdale back on the farm to look at.
Posted on March 20th, 2010 at 1:04 pm
Does anybody know if there could be a WHITE FOAL as well, when WHITE STALLION is in the stables?
Until now I found pinto foals, brown and grey foals on the profiles of my neighbours.
It worked out putting him in, but the first “harvest” was just extra coins…so I try to be a bit patient …but of course I would know if anybody got a white foal already

I got a pinto foal… first got a stallion, then filled my stable with 19 gray horses and one pinto… et voilà, a pinto foal. Off course, I immediately grabbed it for my daughter.
Here is a picture of the foal:

the white stallion does not produce a foal, it acts likes the brown stallion but is permanent (you dont have to keep replacing it like the brown stallion)………a neighbor of mine has all the foals already, told me to empty the stable and only put the horse in your want to produce with the stallion and harvest, and it will produce the foal…..atleast thats whats been working for him and some of his other neighbors. Worth a try………alot easier to come by the foals then the pinkpatch and kellygreen calf it seems!

As if the consumable buff ribbon wasnt difficult and tedious enough to get now they throw in coins plus foals. And they aren’t even being consistent with the stable. I’ve always said that since we spend cold hard cash on FV $ to buy these things, we should get a foal out of it as well instead of just able to publish it – they do this for the consumable buff; arborist, farmhand and XP but not the foal? it’s awful.

I am gutted. Two wandering stallions have appeared on my daughters farms and both wouldn’t reach the publish stage after pressing accept.
So frustrating when items won’t publish and it happens a lot. Hopefully one of us will be able to get a stallion soon that we can put up for adoption.

I got a Clydesdale foal. Kinda sad I couldn’t keep it for myself: http://photos-e.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc3/hs404.snc3/24509_824502877609_14809474_46313445_5610188_n.jpg

@62 : Yeah, that’s exactly what always happens when you buy pixels for real money. It is art, inside a game, that looks pretty on your farm, and you get coins for harvesting it. That is the purpose, what all animals do, which separates animals from decorations. You can photoshop it all you want, but you wouldn’t have an official image on your farm. Every game is art. You’re playing a visual game, made up of art images, where you don’t benefit at all in real life, or hold anything physical. It’s silly to assume you’d get something this time when you haven’t in the same situation in the past. Yes, it would be nice, but what’s the likelihood of it happening, based on the already-used programs for the baby animals?
And, it’s not just brown and grey foals. There are also clydesdales and pintos, and by the sounds of it, Percherons. Just not dressed-up-brown-foals or whole-new-image pony foals. Pony x Horse Stallion would be sort of awkward anyway…
And who in the world told you you HAD to put them in your stable? Display them, have them outside, show them off. They’re there to look pretty and give you coins.
The FUNCTION of an animal is to be HARVESTED. They’re doing their function just fine. It’s not FV’s fault that people with delusions bought things for the wrong reason. Sure, I’d love to keep the foals I produce, since my neighbors don’t have the special ones, but I also wish FV would stop making things cash. FV never promised you a mini image of your special horse/pony when you bought it.

I just bought one Percheron horse, I might buy another but I haven’t decided yet. For those who have had luck producing rare foals with only one or two rare horses, did you fill up your stable with common horses, plus the one or two rare ones, and just beat the odds in producing the rare foal? Or did you ONLY put the rare horses in, and beat the odds in producing a foal at all? I’ve tried both methods so far but no luck either way. Just wondering which seems to work better.

@ #75 We’ve had exactly the same situation in the past, several times with the cows. The only time we didn’t get special calves was with the referee cows. Delusion had nothing to do with this; I had a reasonable expectation based on past events. If I wanted the pink ponies to have babies, I had to put them in the stable, but apparently now all I’m going to get is a brown or grey one after spending FV$ on them. So now the function of the animal is to be harvested, not looked at? You guys need to make up your minds. And I don’t really care if Zynga promised the ponies would have foals or not; it’s THEIR problem if they have dissatisfied customers who actually spend money on the game. It’s a simple fix; make pink pony foals & some keepers for the people who have the foals & calves available. Customers want them. Give customers what they want and they’ll probably stick around to buy more farm cash. Especially when it costs you nothing but a couple of hours coding. I love how everyone always harps on about how Zynga is a business when it’s pretty apparent that none of them has ever run a business themselves. THAT’s what I would call delusional.

Well said taminator! My first though when the wandering stallion was released was “what’s in it for me?” Please don’t call me selfish. I’m playing a GAME. If you can’t “win”, then what is the point in playing?
Posted on March 21st, 2010 at 9:19 am
Maggiek, how can you possibly win this game. There is no way of winning this game. You just get to the end. I play this game because it’s fun. I have the Clydesdale, Pinto, Grey, Brown and soon Percheron Horses. I also have two of the White Stallions. I couldn’t wait for the foals, because I was going to be giving my neighbors the cute babies. I would love to have some Clydesdale, Pinto and Percheron foals myself, but if I can’t get them, then that’s fine. I even got 5 Pink Patch Cows and 2 Kelly Green Cows, so my neighbors could get them. That’s what I was thinking, not can I get any. I would love to get them, but if I don’t oh well. I also have one Bov1ne-09 Cow, would love more of them too, but so far no luck. I would love to get an Elephant, but again oh well. This is a game and it’s meant for fun, if you’re in it to win it, then you’re missing out on the best this game has to offer. For one, meeting new people online and making new friends, for another, thinking of others before yourself. If everyone had that attitude of ‘what’s in it for me?’ then the world would be worse off than it is already. I’m done preaching. Enjoy the game and let it go.

“What’s in it for me” is what keeps Zynga in it– for THEMSELVES. The minute Zynga gets nothing out of it, Farmville is over. Why shouldn’t we get out of it what we want? “What’s in it for me” is why most people do anything; this is why we are not living in caves trying to log onto the internet using stone knives and bear skins. We want some of the calves & ponies for ourselves, it doesn’t hurt you if we get it, so why do you even care? All your calves & ponies are belong to us!

Looking for 2-3 neighbors in farmville that have the white stallion, pecheron and pinto horses so that we can trade colts. I have the 3 listed above as well as the clysdale. I can be found in facebook under gruni1221.

Vanessa, I totally understand what you are saying. This is supposed to be fun playing the game, give all of us a break from reality for a few minutes. I have met some wonderful people and I even go to chat and say Hey I have a calf or egg or whatever to put up would you like to try and grab it> I am not concerned about myself getting things, if I do fine, if not oh well. I have also spent money for farmville cash only because I like what I see and can do with the things I purchase. Cannot wait for the dog to come out only because I have 4 dogs of my own and love them. I have even used my FVCash to buy my friends things they cannot get, thats if I have enough at the time. So lets enjoy this and the main thing we need to do is worry about them fixing all the things that go wrong with the games. Have a great day and ENJOY!!!!

I put the pinto horse in my stable and got a pinto foal, but did not get to keep it.

To all the people complaining about having to put their farm cash horses in the stable, leave them out and just put them in before you harvest. It works, i’ve had a black Foal doing this. As for the complaints about not getting the Foals yourself, start a second account post the Foals to it, then when the farmers market starts in a few weeks sell them back to your main account for peanuts.
Posted on March 22nd, 2010 at 12:47 pm
Kt: what farmer’s market?
Do hope that Farmville will soon put another stallion out, because looking out for stallions gets tedious, lol.
Posted on March 22nd, 2010 at 12:48 pm
a friend of mine got a Clydesdale foal I’d love to see Farmvillefreak post pics of all the different foals that can be gotten. I was going to ask my sister to send me a special horse (I have a horse farm) but now am wondering if I should ask her to keep it so I can possibly get the baby? LOL

hey i found the pretty wandering stallion i hope someone adopted it i need one
Posted on March 22nd, 2010 at 4:16 pm
So would the best option be to put your “special” horse in there, take allt he horses out, find a wandering foal and then produce the special foals? (or at least a better chance of..)
Posted on March 22nd, 2010 at 7:39 pm
@Jane
That is pretty much how I got my Percheron earlier today, only having special horses in with my white stallion.

Stephanie. The farmer’s market mentioned on this site, about 20 posts below this one.

There is no physical wandering stallion. It’s a Create Foal event rather than an actual animal – a one shot event like the Farmhands or the Arborists. You don’t get a stallion to keep.

Hi Farmville neighbors, I am trying to get a percheron, or clydesdale foal. I haven’t had any luck so far. I own 2 percherons, and 1 pinto. If anyone has any suggestions I’d sure appreciate it. Thanks so much…Also does anyone know if you have to have a full stable when you invite the wandering stallion in?

Hi i am level 55. I have percheron, clydesdale, and pinto horses. I gift daily and all. I am looking for fv neighbors who also have good horses. We can trade horse for horse. my farmville id is 20919354

I can’t produce anything from my horse stable. I have 20 horses, I adopt the wandering stallion and everytime I harvest I only get coins. I have produced arborists, or 100 xp or a foal 3 times since this began. At this rate I will never earn the ribbon. I help my kids with their farm and they produce things all the time. Does anyone have any suggestions on why my stable is not producing anything but coins?

To Bridget’s comment about Clydesdale foal. Yes, I put the Clydesdale horse in my barn and have had several foals. It just takes patience.

I have found the wondering stallion twice. Each time I have found a foal. The first time I found a grey foal and the second time I found a brown foal.
Posted on May 17th, 2010 at 9:50 pm
Add me to the list of people still upset with buying horses w/ FC and not being able to keep any of the foals they produce. Epic fail Farmville.

@KATE A lot of babies were conceived with Barry White.

I keep getting this when I try to adopt a wandering stallion
(You don’t have a completed Horse Stable to shelter the stallion! Would you like some parts to help you build one) my stable is completed with at least 20 horses in it.
Is anyone else getting this also?
