In a very late Tuesday Wednesday update, FarmVille introduced another building with purpose- a Horse Stable!

The Horse Stable works like the Barn Raising in that you have to build it and work with your FarmVille neighbors for help. You will also need to be gifted or purchase materials required to build your Horse Stable. As an exciting perk for completing your Horse Stable, you will be gifted a free Grey Horse!

Everyone will receive one Horse Stable foundation in their Gift Box. You do not have to purchase it from the FarmVille Market. Although, the Horse Stable Foundation is available for 5,000 coins in the FarmVille Market in case you accidentally delete it.

Finally the Horses will have a place to live! Any of the horses can be stored in the Horse Stable that fits 20 Horses. You collect from your Horses in the stable every 24 hours.

Directions on Horse Stable (Provided by Zynga’s Community Manager Lexilicious)
“Once you’ve placed the Foundation on your farm, you will be prompted with a message letting you know that you can post a feed to ask you friends for help building your stable.
Clicking the “Share” button will give you the option to post a feed to your wall. Up to 10 of your Neighbors can click on this feed to receive 100 Coins.
In order to use your Horse Stable, you’ll need to finish building it. Selecting ‘Look Inside’ from your foundation’s menu will show you what you need to complete your Horse Stable.
When you first place the foundation, you’ll have one Brick already. In order to build a complete stable you’ll need 10 of each item. You can get these items one of two ways:
1. From neighbors via the Free Gifts menu.
Neighbors can send you the components you need to build your Stable. Your Neighbors will be able to send you two of the five types of building components to help you complete your horse stables.
Please note that the two components displayed on the Free Gifts Page are randomized. As such, the components displayed on the Free Gifts Page may be different for each user. These two components are changed weekly.
When neighbors send you a building component, it works exactly like any other free gift. After you accept the gift it will appear in your gift box.
After clicking the “use” button under the gift it will automatically be added to your Horse Stable.
2. Purchasing components from the Market,
You can purchase components required to build your Horse Stable from the Market for 1 Farm Cash per item.
When you reach 25 items, you’ll receive pop-up that will allow you to post a feed to your wall. The first ten neighbors to click this feed will receive a random building component for their own Horse Stable construction.
When you complete your Horse Stable, you will receive a popup asking you if you’d like to share the news with your friends. Clicking the Share button on this popup will give you the option to post a feed to your wall that will give up to five neighbors who click on it a free Grey Horse.
Once the Horse Stable is complete, you’ll receive a Grey Horse of your own.You’re able to store up to 20 horses in your stable and you may only have one Horse Stable per farm. Right now, you can store the regular brown Horse, the Grey Horse, and a new purchasable Pinto Horse.
Every 24 hours, you’ll be able to collect from the horses stored in your Horse Stable.” (Source: Zynga Official FarmVille Forum)

Just started mine
You can gift some of the materials needed to friends, help them with the stables or buy the materials yourself (which cost $1 FV cash each)! So excited that I can finally house my horses!

These are kewl but beware when u post on ur wall it only lasts a few minutes before it poofs and expires. referee cows are in as well look to ur gift giving for gifts to send for stables good luck everyone

I was trying to raise my horse stable today and the “Ask for help from others” would not post to my feed, farmville froze and it would not let me repost it.
How do you re-post the barn raising?
My computer froze, it wouldn’t post.
Now there is no way for me to get that screen back so that I CAN post the Share request to my feed!!! Please help!

The issue I described before, I got fixed.
What I did is I sold my Stable, and re-purchased it from the market.
Sure I lost 5000 coins, but at least I got to post the feed for Stable building.
So that worked.

What happens when your friends help you to build the barn? I thought that their help would be give me one of the 50 items needed, but that’s not it.. many of my neighbors have helped me and I got NO item, except from gifts!

I’m assuming that you need all the items AND a certain number of people to help you build it.. That’s my only guess why you need people to help and you don’t actually get items when they do.

Yes, I can confirm the same error. Have received like 5 clicks for “Lend a Hand” and nothing happens. I would assume it is the same as with the expansions where when a friend helps you it gives you an extra step just that here it would be a building material. I am positive there is a glitch and as usual we are going to loose all of the helps until Zynga solves it so I would suggest not to help any friends as that will probably vanish into thin air until the problem is solved.

By lending a hand you only get 100 coins, the stable owner gets nothing. What’s the point??? Only zynga knows.

i had the same problem too 6 friends helped but nothing happened..even if there is an amount that is required how are we going to see how many left? İ agree with tomas it should be like that otherwise why should we help other people?i think zynga must be more clear about these kind of things and explain propely:( and by the way if zynga gods are reading these posts please create a dairy farm fort he calf too i have so many of them:)

Don’t know how, but when I loaded my farm after leaving for a minute, my Horse Stable appeared complete even though I only have 5/50 items… see link attached.

I HATE BEING ONE TO BITCH BUT ITS HARD ENOUGH TO COLLECT COINS AND THINGS WHEN TIME IS LIMITED,

had the same thing happen the other day except i lost 100,000 coins. Not a big deal as I have quite a bit right now. Are you using the seeder i found it was the reason I was loosing money. It’s fine now the other day it was messed up.

Just had a problem occur. I placed the stable on my farm and had put in 6 items, then farmville had to refresh my page. When it loaded back up, my stable was back in my inbox, i lost all my items that were in the stable and i lost my ref cow.
Not only that, but i had to reharvest my crops from earlier this afternoon, which i had already replanted and harvested blackberries. So i’m assuming i lost all the xp’s and $$$ that i had gained from earlier in the day… has anyone else had this happen???

i built the stable. the size is 9 by 7. and you can fill it up with 20 horses. the average horse on the stable will yield 84 coins a day. therefore, 20 times 84 is 1680 coins daily. take the 1680 divide it by the 63 square unit area and you are yielding 26.7 coins a day per tile. your better off with the brown goose that yields 40 coins a day per tile. even if you fill up the barn with pintos, given their current stats, you still cant beat the goose.
the stable looks great. and is probably a must for any well designed decorative farm. but if you’re building a full fledged money farm, you should prolly pass on this one. for the time being. unless they release mares and other horses that gives more money.

Facebook is FUBAR.
I had to purchase a stable after the announcement I had a stable was zonked by Facebook and never appeared in either the feed or on my wall.
Numerous stables I have attempted to assist with have the same issue.
I believe the gifting is random as there is no pattern among genders.

well i’m sorry for you but well once happened to my brother he harvested all his peas and planted coffee (I know because i was next to him). The next day when he logged in to harvest his coffe he found the peas. (luckily they weren’t withered)

The posts to have other people lend a hand are probably just to create a frenzy about the horse stable (which seems to have worked). Zynga gets lots of people buzzing about their product; the rest of us get 100 coins. I think Zynga wins this one.

I’m having the same problem as Dawn. I started with nails and horse shoes and they have never changed. Problem is my neighbors don’t change either. I need bricks and boards. How can we complete our stable if our neighbors can’t give us what we need, and I agree with Dawn, I don’t want to have to pay FV cash to get them. (To bad we can’t get together on this Dawn!)

Has anybody playing Farmville encountered losing materials in the horse stable before? I had almost completed the stable when almost all the items disappeared.I replaced most of them back, except for a few. But the next time I looked they had “all” but for a few gone again. It all seems very strange indeed

I intended to say that I bought back most of the items back with my FV money when most of the building materials disappeared again leaving me with only 2FV

When are we going to be able to build a second stable? you can’t store animals. I’ve built a lot of nurseries but eliminated about 3 of them just by eliminating the lowest paying animals. Officially you are only supposed to have 2 nurseries but they continue to let you buy and build. Maybe that’s why they don’t want to give us another horse barn because of that glitch they have with the nurseries. I wish they would figure it out!

maybe we should be able to expand to 60 animals for the horse barn with the barn raising expansion option.

Why are my nursery and stable materials disappearing? I actually completed my nursery one night and the next morning 9 of the bottles were gone. I was 2 wooden boards away from finishing my barn and now it is back down to 1 of 10. I am ready to give up. What a pain.

Please, please, please let us rotate everything!! Completely rotate. Without the ability to rotate buildings, stables, pens, benches, etc., it is hard to really “decorate” our towns because we can only turn things certain ways. It limits how are farms can look. Also, please allow us to purchase with coins, not just cash, everything in the market. Not everyone has extra money floating around to buy farmville cash. Or at least let us be able to exchange coins for $$ instead of having to purchase it with real cash. Lastly, please let us purchase the pens for all animals (sheep, goats, etc.) in the market without placing a limit on how many we can have and allow us to build them as we choose. Thanks!
