FarmVille introduced a Kelly Green Cow today and in no time it was already yielding Kelly Green Calfs.
If you place your Kelly Green Cow in the Dairy Farm you will have the chances of producing a Kelly Green Calf to share with your FarmVille neighbors.
Kelly Green Cows can be purchased in the FarmVille Market for 14 FV$.

you can adopt them so as long as you have a good neighbor you dont need to waste your money on the original cow

we decided when we heard all the “why should I buy them cause I will get the babies for free” comments that a few of us who didn’t have any Pinkpatch neighbors should get together…..lil barn stuffing club. And i bought PP cows For several of my neighbors instead of a valentines card….the cow was cheaper…lol. We have had a blast and I thought i was gonna be sneaky and buy Lucky 1-5 first….but another Got the baby first….win win….if you loose you get the calf….if you win…bragging rights…lol
Sadly….my son with One PP Cow is ahead of me with my 7. Got my shammys in the barn and feeling hopeful. Buy all means you should grab each other…those who have cows…..and trade. Let the “freebies” wait a few days…it won’t kill em….But if you do trade friends….hate to be this way…you might make sure they have the calfs…..another club i was in had some vultures who were just there to snag.

Oh and one thing we have learned for certian…..If you want to isolate a color….you have to remove ALL the bulls from other barns….they contaminate. Every one of us has harvested pink calfs from a pure pink patch barn. I thought they were crazy or not paying attention until it happened to me. keep all barns sterile except the one you Want to produce.

So ive had the same dairy farm full of mixed cows, and one bull forever now.
I have NEVER…not even ONCE produced a baby calf! Isnt this a bit odd?
My neighbors spit them out almost daily….but me…months pass and I never get one?

I had for the longest time 3 pink patch cows in my dairy barn. They never put anything out. I got one kelly green and I am not even going to bother to try with the green calf. I have never even seen a pink patch calf on a farm! None of my friends have put one out either.

I bought 5 Pink Patch cows, put them in one dairy barn with the other cows, and I have produces 2 PP calves, but have never even seen any neighbors produce one. There really ought to be an option to keep the first calf, or to buy it with coins since we’re the ones who paid cash in the first place… *sigh* Anyhow, I’m going go get me some green patch cows; if you’d like to be neighbors to trade calves I’d love to have you.

I have the same problem!! I have 4 dairy farms, all with 19 cows and 1 bull. All of them have a different amount of pink, brown and regular cows. None of them have EVER produced a calf (and I have had the 4 farms since mid-January.) Should each barn have 1 type of cow in it? Can anyone help me?

I have 3 pink-patch cows and 3 shamrock cows, I made 2 pink-patch calves by manually placing the 3 cows in all the dairies. I keep a balance of the cows by placing 3 of each kind of cows, (the ordinary, brown, strawberry, and ref) This technique really works, 1 calf every week is very much possible!!! But, I got bugged when none of my neighbors even cared to comment or say thanks. So, I never tried to make the birthing the hard way. The subsequent calving, I just send the link to my selective friends!! Now, is there a private way to share my personal info

On the post for adoption the little calf has a shamrock at the end of the tail and yet on the pop up that comes once you have adopted it it doesn’t have one!!!! and once you put it on your farm it doesn’t seem to have the shamrock at on the tail. i think they should keep the shamrock tail. it looks so much themed orientated and special. i hope someone responsible pays attention to this little fact

One of my farmville neighbors produces a PP calf every day. I want to know his method! I’m thinking about buying a Kelly Green, but I want to ensure that I produce a calf fairly often, or else I don’t want to use the FV cash. I’m on a limited budget.. haha.

i have a shamrock cow..would like to trade with the calf. i hv pink patch calf but do not hv this shamrock. would love to trade for it.
those who are not getting PP calf, try always the 2nd diary (when you try) with the pink patch cow or shamrock, more chance of getting a PP/ SR calf

I only have one St Pattys Cow and I’m hoping to get a cute st pattys caff … Is there a trick to getting cows to have babies faster? And I have not seen any of my neighbors having cute vday or st. pattys babies yet… : (

@Becky – Michael is right, you can put referee cows in the dairy, and they produce ‘normal’ calves as they are really just dressed-up ‘normal’ cows.

I posted last night #71, and yes I would like to add neighbors for calf swapping, however I only want neighbors with 100 neighbors or less please. I’m on level 70 and been around too long and tired of people with hundreds of neighbors taking from me, but yet I never get anything in return. I like to keep my neighbors “controlable” and give my “good neighbors” a chance at receiving my bonuses. Please dont add me if you do not even have the PP and new green cow lol Thanks

Hey! I have 12 Green Kelly Cows, 1 bull and 7 Pink Patch cows. Every time I harvest my dairy farm, since yesterday I either get a Green Kelly claf, or a Pink Patch calf. Looking for 2-3 neighbors that like me have purchased both the pink patch cow and the kelly green St. Patrick’s Day cow and are looking for their calves. Have several neighbors but all are too cheap to purchase animals that are bought with fv cash. Would like to adopt a pink patch and kelly green calf. I have 5 dairy farms and so I’m going to try and take the bulls out of all but one, however I only have 4 kelly green cows and 1 pink patch cow, with regular cows in there also, filling the space…. will these regular cows mess me up? anyone know?
