Several new Limited Edition English Countryside animals including a Dales Pony, Campbell Duck, and Ram (Purple Stripes) have made their way to the FarmVille Market tonight. Any of these animals can be placed on either of your farms except for the Ram who is an English Countryside exclusive item.

The Dales Pony can produce a Dales Pony Foal when placed in your FarmVille Horse Stables. Check your News Feed for Dales Pony Foal adoptions. Dales Ponies are native to England and this specific breed is on the rare breed endangered list due to its dwindling numbers. The Campbell Duck joins the many other FarmVille Ducks and will be happy to live in your Duck Ponds. In real life this khaki colored duck is known for its unusually large egg production when compared to other ducks. You may have already seen striped patterned sheep circulating your farms, but this is the first time it is officially available for direct purchase via the FarmVille Market.

All of these animals will only be available for a short time until they retire from the market. The Dales Pony and Campbell Duck are Available until April 25, 2011, while the Ram (Pruple Stripes) is available until May 10, 2011.

  1. Mimi Says:

30 for a white sheep with purple stripes??? That’s so expensive. I can’t justify spending that much. I can probably breed one of those! LOL

  2. glenn Says:

    i will get a pony

  3. michelle Says:

I have that ram already used a purple stripe to a white ewe

  4. Grace Says:

Disappointing! My neighbors are breeding much cooler sheep than the white with purple stripe. I don’t mind paying 30 FC for a sheep, but it has to be something good.

  5. nutty Says:

I already spent 30 fv cash on the polka dotted ram…I don’t think I’ll be doing it again.

  6. Heather Says:

Can we perhaps get a horse that isn’t black…or brown…or black and brown….or brown and black…ugh….too many of the same colors for the past month or two.

  7. Garnet Says:

I like black horses more than most. Heck I have 8 real horses of my own, most of them are Friesians. But enough with the black horses already. They do come in other colors.

How about a flea bitten gray Arab that looks like the horse, not a cartoon animal?

  8. Farmer Dan Says:

I’ve already created striped sheep. The ram is a little late coming out. I like the pony though.

  9. MrsA Says:

I’m disappointed in horses and have stopped buying them. Why don’t the foals ever grow into their respective adult counterparts? If a Clydesdale grows up, it shouldn’t turn into a black horse (like every single one does, unless it is a pony – in which case you are guaranteed a light blue pony) it should turn into a grown Clydesdale!

Also, once you find people willing to trade sheep, it cost a lot less. You can get a ram in trade for a tree, which may cost you nothing at all, or maybe, at most 10 FVC.

  10. Vallegyrl Says:

    Will get the pony, only!!!

  11. Kyle Says:

    I like the pony!

  12. Amy Says:

Does anyone know of a group that discusses sheep breeding (i.e. possible crosses) and participates in sheep trading yet? I was wondering…people are coming out with color changing ones, belted ones, etc. all through different breeding combinations, but there is no info out there on how to go about it. Just curious- thank you.

  13. tash Says:

I love the cute horses and foals we’re getting lately they’re adorable

  14. tash Says:

@mrsA What do you expect people spend lots of money to get the horses so to then have people getting them for free would be a bit silly on zyngas part. I personally love sharing the foals to friends but i wouldn’t want them to get a free horse out of it.

  15. Sara Says:

I would agree that foals growing into their respective parents is silly, but look at the chickens!! You pay $25 for a special chicken, or get it FOR FREE in an egg. It works the same way. Even if foals grow into their parents, people will STILL buy the original horses, just like with the chickens.

  16. Raven Zombie Says:

i bought the striped ram, and it went on my home farm, just fine.

FVfreak says you cant put the stripe ram on the home farm…
