Farmville Mystery Eggs are “adoptable” items that you can get from one of your neighbor’s newsfeed updates.
There are Premium White Mystery Eggs and more uncommon Premium Brown Mystery Eggs.

The first egg I hatched yielded a chicken coop, and the second one yielded a pink flamingo decoration! Crazy! I want one of those brown chickens though haha

When I got two chicken coops a gift and for the second one they said you could only have one in your farm, so here’s a chicken instead

I was charged 9 flippin’ FV to use my 2nd GIFT flamingo, and I was charged 400 coins for my white GIFT chicken. Hellooooo! They’re in the gift box! DOn’t charge me for them you idiots! I sold my 3rd flamingo for 30 coins rather than lose 9 MORE FV!

The garden shed is still being randomly handed out, I was lucky and got one. But not many people adopt my free bunches of flowers. I put them up to share.. and the people who adopt them keep them for 2 weeks.. they are decorative.
I have a gnome, pink flamingo, 4 brown hens, but I have not seen black, or golden hens.. hmm waiting.

Getting mystery eggs is random but you have to build your way up. you get premium brown eggs with a brown chicken in your coop. White chickens only create premium white eggs. Brown chickens can produce white,brown, and black chickens. Black Chickens can yield White,Brown,Black, and gold chickens. I suggest only keeping cool colored chickens in your coop. This way, you have a way less chance of your mystery eggs being premium white

No you cant hatch your own mystery eggs. That is why it’s important to let your friends know to keep only cool colored chickens in their coops so you can hatch their cool color eggs. I posted a sign next to my coop so whoever visit my farm and looks near my cooop will see the useful info

I feel jipped.
These hatch-able eggs get swooped up in under a minute and when you do get one, 80% of the time it’s a white chicken. At least in my case.
Since I’m on a roll, what’s the deal with the coops limited to 1.
Oh well. I am pretty stoked about the expansions and the Haiti sweet corn though. The sweet corn is a hell of a deal.

1 step…sell coop on your farm if u have one…2nd step… set one new
coop on your farm or an egg as they get posted which also will give u a
new coop(if none on your property)step 3.. u will receive an egg to
post and pass on to othersstep 4 …sell the coop on your property
before adding a new one for 270 coins every 3 mins or so

You don’t have to have the coordinating color to yield that specific chicken. For example, you may get a brown chicken from a white mystery egg.

So if i cant see an egg to be hatched posted on my wall, how and where do they get it, and why do i get a message saying “this person hatched your egg”………………?

Here’s some advice from someone with 19 golden chickens, 2 tire swings, 1 fire pit, 1 golden gnome, and 3 hot tubs.
You do not need to have a full coop in order to find a mystery egg.
If you take all of your chickens out of the coop, then place a chicken into the coop that is ready to be collected from, the coop becomes ready and you can place as many chickens into the coop as you want.
I have found close to 40 mystery eggs, and it does not seem to matter how many chickens are in the coop when you collect from it. I only put 2 or 3 chickens in each time in order to minimize the time I have to spend per coop collection since the process of moving chickens in and out of the coop is tedious.
The chances of finding a mystery egg when you collect from a coop seems to be around 10%, so the method is productive but it works.

I got white and brown and golden chicken from my friends.
I can’t understand how to produce mysyery eggs.
I found in white&brown eggs: garden gnome and Pink Flamingo.
In golden egg: golden chicken, hot tube, fuel tank, tree swing.
My friend in facebook has got two chicken coops so it is possible, but i can’t understand how. we don’t speak same language. -_-

I have gotten a black chicken, brown chicken and flamingo so far. I seem to be able to produce very few mystery eggs. SOmone on my farmville friend list has been producing blacki and brown eggs off and on all day but he isn’t saying how and of course I miss them all!

You don’t get mystery eggs every time you harvest. The first time u plant ur coop you get a white mystery eggs, afterwards it is sort of based on some probability factor to get them when you harvest your coop.

From brown eggs you could only receive a brown chicken (most likely), black chicken, or 1 fuel refill.
From black egg, u can get black chicken, golden chicken, or 10 fuel refills.
No decoration stuff come with brown or black eggs.
With gold egg I got a hot tub, and my friend got a golden gnome, the decorations stuff from the gold eggs is some of the better stuff from the very first mystery box. Sweet
. I hope they would add this times mystery box stuff like the zen garden or donkey or carousel to some hard to get free things.

I finally finished collecting all the items from the gold eggs, except from the fuel refill (which I need the most). But all in all, the items were fun to collect. Now I have nothing else to look forward to, except back to lvling up my char. =P

So in order to produce those eggs like 2 or 3 a day.
Empty your chicken coop.
Add the chicken that is ready FIRST
Next add gold, black, or brown chickens up to 5.
Then collect eggs.
Empty Coop, then start all over for every ready chicken.
YOU HAVE A HIGHER CHANCE OF GETTING MYSTERY EGGS THAN PUTTING THEM ALL IN THE COOP. THIS IS THE SECRET.

I just got a golden egg, and when I opened it, I got nothing. A few minutes later, I reloaded FV and there were 25 FV$ more than what I had before. I don’t know if it was a glitch, or something genuinely in the eggs, but I was able to afford my black manor finally, so you won’t hear me complaining!

Hi Katherine I know I wouldnt buy them, they do give you more coins than the other chickens do when harvesting but I depend soley on the chickens i get from friends eggs and dont actually spen FV money on them.
I noticed the drop rate as severly plummeted for the eggs, anyone else notice this as well?

Hey guys, I have about 50 of every color chicken including golden, I have gotten every thing you can get from the golden eggs: tire swing, fire pit, golden gnome, hot tub, etc. I have about 4 or 5 of each of those. What I am saying here is don’t buy chickens from the market and don’t get discouraged. The first thing you need to do is add as many friends as possible. The second thing is have a good bit of time on your hands ( which I do ) and the third thing is just be patient. Good things come to those who wait. I do have a question though. Does anyone know what number of chickens in your coop produces the most mystery eggs? Lisa said “YOU HAVE A HIGHER CHANCE OF GETTING MYSTERY EGGS THAN PUTTING THEM ALL IN THE COOP. THIS IS THE SECRET.” which doesn’t make sense. Could you please clarify what you meant Lisa? I have put about 15 chickens in my coop in a row and not gotten anything. HELP!

Hey Christophe if you get a fuel refill it stays in your gift box until you get a vehicle then you can use it..

Yes, you can. I did not have any vehicles and received fuel when I hatched a friends egg. It just sits in your gift box. You can’t move it out of there because you have no vehicles and there is no point in selling it – it comes up with 0 value..

can somebody please help me? I have 7 golden chickens and have never hatched an egg. I’ve tried everything. leaving them all in the coop, out of the coop, putting the first ready back in the coop, only warm colored in the coop, you name it; i’ve tried it. everyday i try and only receive the coins. does anybody have any other suggestions?
i can’t believe they would ask people to pay fv cash for chickens when they don’t hatch eggs.

Be patient. Some times it be at third time, sometimes at nine time.(with 2 0 chicken)..

to date.. i have 23 gold chickens:), i got 2 tire swing, 5 fire pit, 5 hot tub, 4 sets of 20fuel refills, carousel, garden zen
im collecting so i can give back in return, 20gold chickens always yields golden egg.. could say 2 to 3 golds in 10tries.. tiring but the joy it brought to my neighbors feels good.

The Golden eggs are GREAT thanks to my friends on fb I’ve gotten in the last 48 hours 20 fuel refills, animal float and 2 carousels and 4 golden chickens, and then I was able to hatch a golden egg to give back to my friends. I’m slowly dwindling down the amount of white’s in my coop I can totally relate to what Venus said ^^ about the joy it brings to your neighbours…. it’s nice that people can get cool gifts from something you post to your fb wall… Some people have been getting donkeys – I really want a Donkey!

BS!!! That is my official response to “LUCK OF THE DRAW” or “PURE COINCIDENCE” to collecting eggs and getting mystery eggs!!! I have primo chickens in my 1 coop (10 gold/10 black) and I have harvested 1 gold egg, 1 black and 1 brown since this began. “SORRY, NO MYSTERY EGGS TODAY” is the phrase I dread!!! I have have a neighbor with 2 coops (*which in my opinion shouldn’t yield any eggs because it isn’t supposed to be permitted) and has published mystery eggs (3 per day) in the last 4 days …. 3 gold eggs, 1 of each gold, brown, black (in one day) and 3 browns. I’m just wanting to understand this kind of crap …

relize that when a friend posts a egg to his wall for his friends to hatch only five people can hatch the posted eggs.if you have no friends that play just add another account and play both but use the second account to just work on the egg coop trick and post eggs.i`m on level 40 and just been playing for two months -have about 100 gold several black few brown- have sold a few hundred chicks in the last few days- i have about a dozen friends but i about the only one posting eggs-if you want a friend and neb that sends gifts and posts eggs invite me to be neb.charliejones47@gmail.com

Mystery egg prizes were changed last week I think. I know that the white egg gives out a scarecrow and a picnic set and the gold eggs give an animal float, zen garden, donkey and a carousel. They still give out the same possibilities as before for chickens and fuel. Has anyone got anything other than chickens or fuel from the black and gold chickens recently?

Leave all the chicken outside. Put one ready chicken inside and wait until the coop is ready too. Then put all the golden chicken inside. They do not need to be ready. After this, collect the eggs from the coop. Now do it again with another ready chicken. This is how I get my golden eggs. But I think there have to be luck too. Sometimes I got 8, sometimes only 3 a day. Ppl say that it’s esier with 2 or more coops.

Can’t seem to find what’s in eatch one off them.

the other coulerd egg use to have special presents to like the white had a scarcrow ore a picnic basket but all i get is white chicken or brown one don’t know if there are more diffrent gifts in them.

Newbie – if you find an egg you don’t get to keep it – you have to offer it to your neighbours. You chose ‘cancel’ which means you chose to NOT offer it to your neighbours so no-one gets the egg.

I only seem to get golden chickens from golden eggs except for one time when I got a donkey (kept on ice in case trading has to be from your gift box). I have received an outhouse and two groovy scarecrows from white eggs and apart from those just chickens, chickens, chickens….
I don’t mind the scarecrows but it would be nice if they were changed every now and then for different colours.
I’d like to get a frozen pond in a mystery egg or box or even just a large pond. I think a lake might be too big. I’d also like a hot-tub, tree swing, grey goose, alpaca, white owl…..

Hi everyone,
I have a problem with farmville (connected to facebook). I play farmville for a few weeks, I’m now on level 26. Today, one of my friends found a golden egg in his chicken coop. At this moment I’m on facebook, so I saw the new post with the golden egg. I clicked on the “Hatch an egg” text, but it only opened my farmville account, but I dont get anything from the egg (the egg posted cca. 22 seconds ago).
Usually when I clicking, I get a pop up window what shows me what kind of suprise I got, but from this time, I cant get this pop-up, it only opens my farm. So I cant hatch eggs, flower bouqutets, collectable things, maybe lost and found animals (I cat test it, because my friends are not found animals in the lest hours). When one of my frieds need fertilizing, I can fertilize his/her farm, so no all of the Farmville links are broken, but without this feature, the game is not funny for me.
The Zynga’s page cant offer me a solution, the google have olny a few mathes in this thing, and almost all of them says, that this problem caused by only three things.
1, I try to hatch my own egg (the problem not this).
2, Anyone has hatched the egg before me (I tried to hatch it in the 30th second, so I dont think that five person hatched it before me – six times in a row).
3, The hatching time has expired (its ridiculous because of the 22 second).
This problem is very annoying, I only found one girl with the same problem, but i dont know anything about it.
Please help me to find a solution, because I dont know what to do.

These things are almost impossible to get. When someone posts these on facebook, they are taken literally SECONDS after they appear. I have been able to nab a brown one and 2 white ones once. If you can manage to get a gold one, bravo to you.

If I’m on someone’s wall who is not a FB friend or a FV neighbor, and they have the link to “Hatch an egg” why can’t I get the egg? Des the person have to be a friend or neighbor? I can adopt animals, but not hatch eggs.

Anyone having a problem with eggs? I click on a link seconds after it was posted, and it says the eggs have already hatched. I am having the same problem with events expiring seconds after they were posted too, like farmhands.

now that they have started that people can find fuel on neighbors crops, do you still get fuel from golden mystery eggs? I haven’t received any in a long time is why i am asking

i also having problem that egg hatched in seconds, although i am sure that i am just seconds after the egg hatched…..any help? or maybe some of my ‘friend’ using some kind of toolbar to grab the egg…..any help anyone?

this sucks i have over 80 chickens all hatched from eggs, white brown gold and black, best thing i ever got from an egg was a collectable, where is my cottage/refils of fuel!!!!!!!!!

1 outhouse, 8 black cottages, 8 pink cottages, 20 grain silos, 6 golden gnomes, 2 20-fuel refills, few random collectibiles, and of course… 50 gazillion white, brown, black, and golden chickens… White, brown, and black chickens have no place on my farm anymmore, I’m up to my eyeballs in golden chickens as it is with a jam packed 60/60 gold coop. I have chickens standing outside in the cold rain, now tell me, HOW is that humane?!!? Let me buy more coops or something~

On Golden Eggs i only got:
- pink cottages (around 25)
- black cottages (around 40)
- grain silos (around 30)
- rare collectives (many of them)
- gold chickens (many too)
I never got flamingos or fountains or carrousels or VILLAS and im on level 46!

once i got a pink cottage from golden egg and my friend got black cottage, which is worth 60,000.. amazing hn…. it was just our luck….
after i hatched another golden egg after some days, i just got only a golden hen….. it was pretty an unlucky day for me.

OMG i keep finding eggs in my coop, but it sends a message “*blah blah blah* you found a ___ egg would you like to share them with you friends” and then has the options “share” “cancel” or you can exit out. i have tried cancel exiting and sharing …and everytime i dont get the eggs either i share them.. or nothing , how do i open/receive the eggs my chickens from my coop produce????? ughhhhh
