FarmVille Terrier Puppy debuts for only 5,000 coins!
FarmVille New Puppy Terrier Notice
In an update made on 04.20.10 to FarmVille, a Terrier Puppy debuted in the FarmVille Market for only 5,000 coins!
This should satisfy more farmers who complained the dog was too expensive and wanted more choices for coin puppies. Note, you can also purchase the Terrier Puppy for 65 FV$. The difference between the farm cash option Terrier versus the coin Terrier is that the farm cash Terrier comes with a 14 day supply of Kibble and will not run away. You will be required to feed your coin Terrier once every 14 days or it will run away and you will have to pay farm cash to rescue it from the pound.
You must have at least a minimum of 15 FarmVille neighbors to purchase the Terrier Puppy.
You may own more than one coin Puppy. Meaning, you can own the Terrier and the Boarder Collie and other farm cash Puppies as well.

Cute Puppy, Kudos to Zynga, Brilliant Marketing Strategy, Release a puppy every two 2wks that most Farmers will be able to and probably buy. Why is this Brilliant, they finally figured out a way to make sure we log into Farmville at least once a day, thereby increasing their number of players per month.

This is a good time to consider what time you want to buy your puppy as that will have an effect on the feeding time. Personally, I don’t mind if I’m hours late but I know some people were losing sleep over it, lol

Donna, you have another 24hrs. before the dog runs away. So think of it as a 24hr. crop. Harvest @ 24hrs. and withers (runs away) another 24hrs. after that ….so 48 hrs. from time of feeding (or seeding), lol

As a dog lover with too much coin on my hands and not enough to do with it I would have even bought this new addition for another 300,000 coins. I don’t care about how much it costs for coins I just dislike that some of them are $FV only. Even if we just got the basic colours for coin and had to pay cash for the other ones I think there should be a way to buy all kinds of dogs for coin.
My red BC is called Jack from the line in the movie Fight Club “I am Jack’s complete lack of surprise.” Not only because I adore the movie/book but because I wasn’t surprised that the other puppies cost cash

I love my red border collie, Izzy. I would have preferred the black/grey sheepdog, but not for FV bucks. I just got the terrier and named her Betsy. They’re not following me now. I hope it’s just a glitch. Izzy’s following my farmer was perfect. Good job!

I really love the puppies! Zynga was really nice to us for giving it for only 5000 coins. Truthfully, I would pay 300,000 for this puppy, I just won’t pay for the cash. It’s cute watching most of them following us. I just wish that you could choose what you want your dog to do, like when you first adopt it you have the option of choosing what you want the dog to be. Like harvesting chickens or horses.

Lynn, you say that you have 24hrs. from the time you first feed your dog before it runs away. I don’t think that is correct. You have 24hrs. from the time you first feed your dog before it has to be fed again… and then, if you don’t feed the dog … you have another 24hrs. before it runs away. So you have 48hrs. from the time you FIRST feed your dog before it runs away.

There’s a glitch – I tried 5 times to make it “stay” and then move it away from the farmer and every time I got the Out of Sync message. I hope they fix it soon, because my farmer is trapped behind the Nursery barn so I basically can’t see my new puppy!

I was surprised that after I bought my new puppy I could not get a second one. And my first one will get his last feeding tonight and then I’m committed to two more weeks… hmmm… I’m betting that two weeks from today another puppy will be available to buy… for cheap… and on and on. It is quite a commitment to log in every day. Much more then growing crops have been. Well, they don’t seem to be going anywhere so I might have to take some time off before I commit to the next one.

If you have realized by now, but making sure you come on once everyday for 2 weeks… and now come on once everyday for 2 weeks again – Zynga sure knows how to keep people on.
They did fix a lot of things lately too. Neighbors are back together. Gifts are working. Grass is back. Co-op jobs are working. They released the cow, but then again I’ll wait for more fans when it comes for coins.
They added a lot this latest patch, but I still feel as if something ‘more’ needs to be done with the game. Oh well. I like my dog

Yay, another dog! I am so glad Zynga made this one only $5,000 coins. I’m not upset at all about the other dog costing $300K coins. I’ve got over 3 million in coins, and since few of the buildings or decorations cost coins anymore, what else am I going to spend it on? Can’t wait for more breeds. I have the same problem. I was under the impression that my puppy would grow to adult size after 14 feeds as this is what farmville had told us. However I fed my puppy for the 14th time this evening and not only did it remain the same size, but it tells me that the puppy will again be hungry in 23:59 hours. Please can someone offer a answer?

I bought a puppy for 5000K yesterday and immediately fed it. A couple of hours later the puppy was gone. I have moved everything around to make sure it wasn’t stuck somewhere. Still no puppy. Today the notice came up that it needed to be fed but still no puppy. AND no notice in the market on the pet section asking me to pay to get my puppy back. Anyone else have this problem?

I bought my terrier three days ago and named her Annie. She’s adorable! I just fed her 20 minutes ago. And about the adult dog glitch: they fixed it. While I couldn’t buy a border collie (I had just bought a tractor, seeder, and harvester after I had procrastinated so long, so I didn’t have the coins; I’m poor!) my neighbor bought one. I visited her farm tonight and her dog was full grown already! Obviously they fixed the glitch!

I had no problems with the Collie, but the terrier puppy was there with feed in 11 mins for adult size and now it is gone, but I did get a message saying it had grown and to feed it treats now for tricks, like the Collie, but has vanished? Hope it is still there when they fix this, I know of another players that this just happen too a few minutes after mine.

I have the both coin puppies 300 000, 5 000 they are Level 5 and it was a pleasure for me to watch them

Okay, I want to buy a terrior, but farmville says that I am limited to one of them. I haven’t even bought my first one, but it won’t let me buy one, saying that I already had purchased it… Help please ?
