Farmville Turkey vs. Wild Turkey
| Posted on Sun ,15/11/2009 by FarmVille Freak FarmGoddess Share this post with your friends on Facebook ![]() |

The Farmville Baby Turkey transforms into an adult Turkey and is purchasable for 7 FV$.
The Wild Turkey is an adoptable only Farmville roaming animal. It cannot be purchased in the Farmville Market.
The adult (regular) Turkey and the Wild Turkey look very similar, but are slightly different colors.
Here is a side-by-side comparison for all those interested in seeing the visual difference between regular Turkey and Wild Turkey!

a little off topic….
Has anyone else noticed that alot of different farmville post are not showing the pictures…
THIS IS ALL YOU SEE. NO PICTURE!!!!
Matt found a sad Ugly Duckling on their farm. Oh no!
Matt was farming when a sad, Ugly Duckling wandered onto their farm in FarmVille. This poor ducky ran away from his old home because the other ducklings made fun of him. He feels very sad and could use a new home.

Yeah, and I bet the wild turkey’s a lot gamier too. Get it? Game-y?
Posted on November 15th, 2009 at 10:22 pm
Yea. Sometimes I accidentally skip over those cuz the pics are what I skim for when looking at my FV feed.

I vote wild turkey, it makes me happier to like the one I don’t have to spend cash for.
Posted on November 15th, 2009 at 11:38 pm
haha i adopted one a while ago and im glad i didnt waste me cash on buying one
Posted on November 15th, 2009 at 11:49 pm
the adoptable wild turkey looks better
Posted on November 15th, 2009 at 11:51 pm
I am curious if anyone has ever purchased anything with FarmVille Cash they didn’t regret? I have only spent $3 for fuel. To find out how it worked. When I first started playing. Looking back on it I am glad that is all I have spent.

I spent $15 farm dollars on a mystery box and got a tire swing. I was pretty stoked about that.

I bought this stupid turkey with farmville bucks (so did my sister and her boyfriend). We’re not transforming them. They look like ****. They look worse than the adoptable ones. I regret buying it, because I know at some point, I’m going to forget to ignore its “harvest” sign, and I’ll end up transforming it into that blob of disgustingly-average.
It looks adorable as a baby.

I bought an expand farm($20). I really regret that!!!!!!!!
Posted on November 16th, 2009 at 12:22 am
OUCH
Posted on November 16th, 2009 at 12:29 am
The adoptable looks better, but the baby turkey is so cute that i think i can live without transforming it into a plain turkey :p

Mystery box…. well I got a manor!!!! How amazing was that??? So I decided that was such a HUGE bargain that I bought another mystery box and got a white owl…the XP points went through the roof…and I sailed up at Level 37… one very happy lady here…!! ps I need neighbours… anyone willing???

Hi Carter… I love the baby turkey too… I’d never thought about keeping it ‘young’…thanks for the tip ! x

I bought a mystery box for 16 $, got 20 fuel, I decided to buy another one for the hope of a better item, Guess what: 30 fuel, I really regret spending those 32$ on 50fuels
Posted on November 16th, 2009 at 2:12 am
i love wild turkey
Posted on November 16th, 2009 at 2:21 am
You got a Manor in one of the new blue mystery boxes?? Wow! I’ve been wondering what’s in those.
Posted on November 16th, 2009 at 2:23 am
I transformed mine, coz no one warned me about the similarity to the wild turkey! This post came too late ~ LOL Oh well…i guess the screen capture of it is all i have of the baby turkey…
ps: i think i like the wild turkey more… the purchased adult turkey is too… plain.

I bought an expand farm($20). But I don’t regret it, but now I know stragers also want to be neighbours, so now i starting to think that it was a waste. But how do you get FV dollars? I’ve saved de 20 I had, and now I have one. At first I thought you get a dollar a day but that’s not true.

Hi Farmville Guru,
Ever since I started playing FV, I’ve saved up all my FV$ to one day buy the acai berry tree. As soon as I reached 27FV$ I got one of ‘em.
Absolutely no regrets. Love my acai berry tree!

It remains to be seen whether the bought turkey gives more $$ per harvest than the wild turkey. I’d rather have the one with the higher return which is why I want to level-up twice before the fancy maple goes so’s I can get another one.

When I transformed my baby turkey, I lost the wild turkey I’d adopted. It just disappeared! I thought it would come back because my turtles and cats have done that, but it’s been days and no wild turkey.

Well I found a glitch, which was immediately fixed upon seeing it… I adopted a wild turkey, said a friend had already given it a home… so I looked in my gift box, to take out what I had in their by friends… nd what do ya know, I had a wild turkey in it XD

Does anyone know harvest and sell prices of all three Turkeys (Baby, Wild and Normal)?
Posted on November 16th, 2009 at 9:38 am
I need to know harvest times too. Thanks!
Posted on November 16th, 2009 at 9:50 am
Yep, as for the fv cash I bought one of the new gift boxes for $16fv and got 30 fuel refills. It’s nice for when your in a hurry to plow and harvest (I haven’t bought a seeder cause I had no intention of buying fuel) but I wanted something nice to show off, like a manor. Even a pond or owl would have been nice. I’m wondering if I should try another one, I only have $22fv left though and I’m betting there will be nice stuff for Christmas. What a dilemma… ho hum.

How much and what do each of the turkeys harvest? If the wild and market turkey harvest the same amount …then there is no point in buying a turkey….but i personally think the market turkey would harvest more.
Posted on November 16th, 2009 at 11:14 am
The market turkey harvest the same amount as the wild turkey.

HOW DO I EARN FARMVILLE CASH??? This is a very popular question that people ask me. You receive 1 FarmVille dollar for every level achieved. Also you can get FarmVille cash buy purchasing it. There used to be other ways to get it, but we are not that lucky anymore.

I would really like that Farmville released new edition of cows. I have pink, brown and an alien cow. Now I want a vintage animated cow. You know, black and white, with big cute eyes. It would be so……. adorable.

Yes PINK COWS are still out there for adoption. They are just not popping as often as they used to.
Posted on November 17th, 2009 at 6:00 pm
Does anyone know if the wild turkey is just adoptable up to Thanksgiving or is it permanent?
Posted on November 18th, 2009 at 4:38 am
Regular Turkey looks like a female and the Wild one looks like a male, they should mate and make more baby ones.
Posted on November 19th, 2009 at 3:20 pm
I just got the PINK MISTERY BOX cause I wanted everything in it, except the floater and that’s exactly what I got!!! $16FV cash!!! I regret it soooo much……:(
Posted on November 19th, 2009 at 3:48 pm
What does each harvest?
) and it’s cute and all but what does it give, in how long, for how much?

well speaking of turkeys i have a little suggestion, how about a Turkey Coop with 1 limited and for example a capacity of 20 turkeys (normal or wild) i think that would be cool because i think everyone got some baby turkeys from their holiday presents… how bout it?
Posted on December 26th, 2009 at 6:14 pm
the same thing can be made for horses or sheep or pigs and this will save some space in farms
Posted on December 26th, 2009 at 8:00 pm
