Looks to me like getting a stable is going to be alot of work; esp now that they’ve disabled all links to ppl that are not on your friends list.
I have a feeling that all these needed “items” are going to be the free gifts, and we’re going to have to get ppl to send them to us.
Ugh.

Can’t store Donkeys… hrmmmm
Posted on January 29th, 2010 at 12:27 pm
how do these people find out this information? How does this guy have a “neighbour” who already has the stable?
Posted on January 29th, 2010 at 12:46 pm
Roadie,
hahaha
I just hope the horses aren’t FV cash *hint hint Zynga*
I’m wondering the same thing!! I want to be a tester too
I can’t wait for the stable, this is a big deal, I also look forward to building it – sounds like fun

7 X 3 ?? I think not. Can you count? You have a picture right there of the framework butted up against hay bales for easy calculation of the dimentions. What good is this building anyway?? You can fit 20 horses in that amount of space. It does nothing but apease farmers who beg for crap and collect bulky and worthless animals. If this is real, the new horse stable will be about as useful as a cow pie with an extra packet of lamesauce.

im glad they are finally doing something with the horses i like the look of the pinto horse it looks cool but not to sure about gray horse looks a bit weird

Limit of 1 is stupid, I recieved 10 horses in the last week alone from “mystery gifts”
Posted on January 29th, 2010 at 2:18 pm
This process seems very long and potentially arduous. *sigh* To be determined.
Posted on January 29th, 2010 at 2:25 pm
hmmmm … seems to me reading all the info on this so called “horse stable” that not only are you gonna have to try and scrounge all the goodies to build this stupid thing (will be like the collectibles – “sorry, all gone”) BUT you won’t be able to put your regular horses in it – it says that it is for gray horses, etc – sounds like this is what we are gonna get as gifting items, one a week or so, or in the mystery boxes. If that is the case, they can keep it …… I personally don’t think it is worth the aggravation just to get another building to house stuff that I don’t have anyways
Posted on January 29th, 2010 at 2:27 pm
7×3 for just 20 horses, i’m sorry but this is manure ……..
Posted on January 29th, 2010 at 2:54 pm
The first date is 1/31. That doesn’t seem right-tat is Sunday. Does this mean a Sunday release?
Posted on January 29th, 2010 at 3:11 pm
Xeek,
I want to know more about how you found out this information. I’m just curious is all. Email me or add me on Facebook.
Posted on January 29th, 2010 at 3:16 pm
With the info that xeek just posted, I think it’s fair to say that the “market” items are going to be bucks.. Just doesn’t seem like FV to put them for coin in the market AND free gifts at the same time.
Posted on January 29th, 2010 at 3:20 pm
I can’t wait …. off to plan where I’ll put this monster of a building….
Posted on January 29th, 2010 at 3:21 pm
Zynga needs to stop using open code, it’s too easy to alter, too easy to time machine, and too easy for hackers to mess with.
Posted on January 29th, 2010 at 3:44 pm
7×3 for 20 yuck, I won’t be building this, till I can expand it 2x so at least 40, hopefully 60.
Posted on January 29th, 2010 at 3:45 pm
I’m pretty sure that Xeek found this by playing about with the xml files that govern how the games run
It’s pretty simple, and a great way to find out what’s new and upcoming! Oh, and this stable doesn’t just house grey horses to the poster who said this above, the post here says ‘horse’ as well as the other horses. so it’ll house them all. I assume this is probably where the colts will come from too, perhaps, like with the calves :3
Posted on January 29th, 2010 at 4:47 pm
The game sattings is here: http://static-facebook.farmville.com/v13618/fv_fuel_price_test_3.xml
ctrl + F horsestable
ctrl + F stadium
Also you can test them by editing your cache file which is something like 471XXXXX. change buyable=”false” to buyable=”true”
Posted on January 29th, 2010 at 4:51 pm
Ops, the game setting has updated? anyway you can find the game settings from your cache starting with 471XXXXXXX
Posted on January 29th, 2010 at 5:00 pm
Doesn’t seem like the inital release will save any space on the farm, so the only advantage is “single-click” harvesting of the the 20 horses that are inside. Hopefully they well offer a future enlargment. Then again, we’re still waiting for them to do that for the Dairy and the Coop.
Posted on January 29th, 2010 at 5:27 pm
7×3 doesnt mean it’ll be that big based on crop squares = 21. You have to imagine that each crop square is 3×3 and base it on that. I think thats the case
Posted on January 29th, 2010 at 5:47 pm
If anyone knows how to mess with the files to see whats going on add me on facebook Josh Farmer
message me to let me know your from farmville freak.
Posted on January 29th, 2010 at 6:01 pm
IT has been confirmed in the new farmville podcast that you will be able to build your own horse stable which is coming soon!
Posted on January 29th, 2010 at 6:58 pm
how did you get this before us?
Posted on January 29th, 2010 at 7:21 pm
I was wondering you know how when you harvest chickens you sometimes get the mystery egg, and then when you harvest your dairy farm you sometimes get a baby calf. Do you guys think that they will have it when you harvest the horses that you will find like a baby horse or something? i just wondering if anyone knew.
Posted on January 29th, 2010 at 8:13 pm
Again, I point out the fact that this building is clearly larger than 7 X 3. It’s even next to hay bales and cows so you can count it out. Looks to be closer to 11 by 7 which takes up 77 squares. If a horse takes up 4… 77/4 = 19.25. So… I could fit MORE horses on dry land than would fit in the stable… Unless the horses automatically harvest your trees or something awesome like that this building is not too great. Horses are the worst animal to begin with, speaking in terms of how much coinage they produce. I’ll let my neighbors IKEA this building together and if the baby horses only take up one square and produce 100 coins a day, I might adopt a few. That’s as excited as I can get about this building as far as I can tell by the early reports.
Posted on January 29th, 2010 at 8:22 pm
This idea sounds great, but seeing as the Barn raising still works poorly, I am skeptical that this will work correctly upon its release….
Posted on January 29th, 2010 at 8:52 pm
To be honest, I sort of like that you have to work to “build” the horse stable. I’ve been getting sort of bored doing the same stuff over and over and over again on my farm. This “earning or buying items to build your own stable” is an interesting little twist. I’m the most “into” farmville when I’m working to earn something.
I just really, really hope that all the things you are going to need to buy to build your stable are going to available for coins and not farmbucks. If you have to buy all that stuff with bucks I’m just not going to be able to do it.
Posted on January 29th, 2010 at 9:40 pm
The building part is cool, as long as you get enough time to do it for those with fewer neighbors. Time to start collecting horses.

Posted on February 3rd, 2010 at 1:44 pm
Horse Stable is arrived and is available in giftbox. Harness and horshoe are available for gifting friends.
Posted on February 5th, 2010 at 3:52 pm
I looks like everything EXCEPT the bricks are obtainable as a gift. I haven’t seen a brick as a gift yet. Looks like you may have to buy your bricks. Anyone have any other info on this?
Posted on February 5th, 2010 at 4:24 pm
@Smittypapillon: Yes, some people can send bricks as gifts. It is possible and very doable to build your Horse Stable without paying any farm cash, it just takes friends. Try the FarmVille Freak Link Exchange chat for help. No links should be posted in the regular (discussion) chat.
Posted on February 6th, 2010 at 8:03 am
why can i not get a horse shed on my farm it sucks
Posted on February 7th, 2010 at 11:49 am
I don’t know if anyone has discovered this yet but the brown pony will NOT be accepted into the horse stable. For some reason, the pony is not considered a horse.
Now there’s logic for you.
Posted on February 28th, 2010 at 4:51 pm
You cant send nails anymore. How do i get nails?
Posted on April 26th, 2010 at 2:29 pm
