hey fv freaks, so… I’ve already collected three pet clue in petville, and nothing appeared about farmville after, just a english sheepdogs in my storage of petville, I think that it is a relation as the mafia wars machines to FV, so it’s only to wait for something new

The PV players are only privileged to get an early peek into the appearance. That’s the way I see it, anyway.

LOL at the whiners… OMFG we have to play another FREE game to get a dog (possibly) o NOES..
if you don’t want to play another game (if thats whats needed) then don’t and deal without the dog..
its FREEE entertainment..
the ‘clues’ were SUPER easy to find in petville. i have one neighbor and found them within 5 minutes.
I would have to say the border collie looks the best out of the dogs.. something about the golden retrievers eyes are funky.
wonder if everyone will be allowed one dog or able to get one of each. would be cooler to allow one dog only imo.

It hasn’t said anywhere on PV that PV players will have early or exclusive access to the dogs in FV nor does it say that PV players get to pay coins vs cash for the dogs like the MW tractor deal. They just allowed PV players an early and exciting first peek! I know we’re all FV Freaks but lets not freak out over this yet…til Zynga gives us all the details!

Laura- you are right, my 5 year old Daughter sometimes plays petville for me when i am to buisy cuz of work to do. She does everything right, clean pet, then home and the postings between, she even shares the treats with my neighbours too. She does that just like i would. Man cant wait for the dog, i would love to have a Rottweiler, had one in real life and they are so gentle, loving dogs.

I just started PetVille today and I got all three clues in like 10 minutes. So, if it’s needed to get them… it doesn’t take very long in PetVille.

If you ask me what I do prefer in order to get my puppy:
a) Play petville
b) Pay FV$
All the way A!
PD: I wasn´t playing Mafia Wars before the hot rods, but now I play once everyday.
PD2: A year ago I was playing petsociety but I found it painfull and boring, very little amount of money, Playfish are greedy with his pets and all the stuff are expensive in the store. So I switch to farmville and never regret it.

hate to burst fv bubble but sheep dogs are not considered the smartest dog. not that i like them much, but poodles are considered to be the most intelligent dog breed. i personally love german shepherds.

The “English Sheepdog” looks more like a Westie. Fine by me, because I have one (two actually). I just wish they didn’t call it something it doesn’t look anything like. None of the English Sheepdogs on Google Image Search are solid white…

I bookmarked the filter before my fb was changed. Until recently it was impeccably filtering all FV posts. But a few days ago, it started letting through the most recent other posts. So in the end, it is indeed failing in function.

@AB – You blocked Petville – maybe too many requests/gifts annoyed you – that happened to me with Mafia Wars, was never interested in it, then had to unblock it to be able to play and get my harvester and stuff.
Go to FB Home page
click on Account (Top Right)
Then Privacy Settings (In Dropdown List)
Then Applications and Websites
Then Edit Blocked Applications
Petville should be in the list
Click Remove (Next to it)

Just thinking the updates have been done on Wednesdays and Fridays the past few weeks, that may continue. I see the old mystery box is still available through midnight tonight, so we may not see the new updates until tomorrow. I think the dogs look great, hope we can get all three, and we don’t have to choose just one.

No one should be shocked over this. I mean really. -_-
This is only the beginning folks. They tested it with Mafia Wars, and people added that game (which makes the stats look better for Mafia Wars). When you have the #1 Zynga game (FarmVille of course), and your other games are doing MUCH worse…it’s common sense to link the best with the worst to help improve the less-popular games.
So…in the future look for special items for those who play Cafe World, and YoVille. YoVille should be next, since they are SUPER low on the stats for active players. Maybe even Vampires will get into the act.

See the info under each dog? It sounds like each will function different on your farm. Maybe the sheepdog will harvest all your sheep at once or something.
I am thinking that since it has taken so long for the dogs to come out, it is going to be more complicated than just another animal to harvest. They have been working on the code for the dogs so that they will actually do something rather than just stand there.

Ok i went to the stupid game, it took 5 seconds.
When you are in the home, you have a little piece of paper on the floor with a question mark.
Then you visit the 1 neighbour that everyone gets with the game. On their floor they have a little piece of paper.
Then you go back to your pets home, and there is another piece of paper which you click on.
Then in petville, you get a toy dog. Nothing in my farmville.

Oh wow…my mother-in-law would FREAK OUT if they release an Old English Sheepdog. She has three of them, and is absolutely obsessed with the breed.
I’m a little partial to the border collie myself.

this makes so much sense.
the sudden increase in sheep (luv ewe, shamrock sheep)
these are so the sheepdog can harvest them all at once.
i havent come up with anything for the other dogs but their respective functions are most likely similar to the sheepdog.

I didn’t mind, and don’t mind, playing Mafia Wars but Petville? I don’t care if it’s free! Why do I want to dress up a cartoon dog? I have some life left outside computer games including a job. So I like playing Farmville, MW’s but that’s all I can manage. So,..Nate, why should I have to play ANOTHER game, to get a FV item? Makes no sense to me, free or not. And I want the dogs without having to play a “different” game, not too much to ask of a game, really.
