ok, how were these completed? I plow, seed and harvest everyday, nothing…..I milk cows, pet animals, collect milk, eggs etc….nothing…the only ones I get are gifts…can someone shed some light?

Is there a limit of 5 friends, that can get the collectibles from finishing a set? Z’s web site, says any friends that click it within 24 hours, will get an item, yet I hear only 5 can get it.

How you all get this much count collectables share the secret even to ous getting 1 collectable itself is a hurculous task i have one left out in each category

For the cowbell, do you have to collect from the cows individually? or can you still get a cowbell from cows in the dairy barn? All my cows are in the dairy barn, should I take some out to harvest separate?

First… THANKS!!! to all of you guys for providing us with the links so we can get one step closer to completing each of the collections..
Second… Still I can’t understand what happens?! I mean, I know that after completing each collection we get to publish a link (if we chose to trade the collection), so that our friends can have a random collectible for their collection.. Does it mean that this link (the link for the completed collection) is the ONE that is infinite?? I still can’t understand this one, cause I’ve publishing links for items found on my farm, but after several clicks.. they are gone
I guess I managed to understand what actually happens, so if I’m right, please confirm it

Damn…only one I’m missing from this collection is the cow bell…and I harvest from 130+ cows a day (including the 100 in dairy barns)…

Yup my PC crashed, I came back and the links were broken. No longer works. Was nice while it lasted though. Got tons of collection turned it. 225 tanks of gas and over 40k exp.

Anyone notice that the XP is not 250 for the colelction prize cuz at least it isn’t on my game…I was at say 393 and after the 250 XP I went to 495 so that certainly is not 250XP. Anybody else has the same trouble?
As for the broken links..I knew I should have maxed it out last night but being too tired I said I will wait and not three hours later, the links are gone and I am out of cultivator but have everything else…shucks! well I did trade in 6 country collections

Hmm… I see they added hints now to help people find the collectibles.
Just put your mouse over one and it will reveal the hint.

This collection is getting really difficult to achieve…I plant sweet corn four times on at least 350 squares, I have tried plowing, harvesting and sowing by hand, by machine and am not finding anything but pocketwatch- if I see one more pocketwatch!! If it weren’t for the links, I never would have gotten much of what I have collected.
I have a barn and in all the days harvesting, no cowbell. I fertilize the maximum that FV now allows per day and gift the maximum, but nothing from the collection.
What use are the hints if when I do what they say I still do not find anything?

Also need help with the cow bell! My husband says he got his from a dairy farm. (We both have 3) I’ve taken some cows out of one of mine but that hasn’t worked. I’d like to put them back if it makes no difference.

The collections aren’t hard to complete, you just need to keep an eye out for when your neighbors complete a collection or find extras.
If you look at the hints for each of them, there are clues as to where to find them. “Look up!” would be in trees, “You have to get your hand s a little dirty” would be when you plow your own fields, “Your neighbors won’t notice when you find this on their farm” would be when you fertilize your neighbors’ farms, “sometimes you get more than down feathers” would be when you harvest your ducks, “this twine is spun right from the source” is when you harvest your sheep — I thought it was cotton, but then I found it when I collected wool, and so on.
There are some that are extremely hard to find such as the zebra butterfly, cowbell, twine, blue feather, and beetles. But you just need to be patient and watch out for them. What you don’t find yourself, someone else has and will be sharing. You may also want to join groups like FarmVille Neighbors
— people post links to share collectibles as well as for help with barn raisings, building stables and fertilizing crops. I have managed to find all of them myself at one time or another. Patience is the key. Hope this helps…

Where are these links I’ve only found nothing (crap) You need to release more of the rare items. I’m getting tired of trying !!! Yes how can I get the cow bell, copper butterfly , shears, ect. I have been on the persons site and click as soon as it comes up and still end up with nothing !!!

I have been playing Farmville for 3 weeks and completed over 100 collections. Just farm the way you have been by harvesting all your animals and fertilizing your neighbour farms. Once in a while you will come across something and share it if you can. But most of my collection completion came from shared post from my FV friends. I see about 200 completion shares in 7 hours while I am hard at work. LOL. Some friends shared post goes really fast. Some don’t. I get my hands on about 100 aday and most are common collectables. But out of 100 I get, about 12-15 that rare items that completes my collections. Than I post them in a string of shares for my FV friend to get so they can complete their collections.
