It is with pleasure that we announce the finalists for the FarmVille Freak Banner Contest!
Thank you to everyone that participated. There were so many incredible entries that it was extremely difficult to pick four so we picked five. We loved all of the entries so much that we have decided to keep rotating banners on the FarmVille Freak home page. The response to the rotating banners has been positive and many of you have requested we keep the banners rotating.
Voting will take place for a 24 hour period. You may only vote once. (Vote below).
The winner will be rewarded with 115 FV$ or farm cash. After the voting ends, we will contact the winner via email.

Glad to see 4 in the lead! Very Creative and Beautiful! Top three are beyond the size guide lines, the last one is very “cut-n-paste”, There were many many others that were great too.

I still think that keeping the rotating banners is a good idea. They are all creative and different, and they all also represent something related to farmville.

Looks like “Cut and Paste” is the way to go. I drew original art for mine, which I thought would give me an edge… Ah well.

What happened to the fruit one? These ones are ok, but there were many others that deserved to be in these top spots.
Rotating Banners would be the way to go. Pick a winner, but have a heap of people’s rotating.

ACTUALLY the one that I liked the most was the one with all the fruits, vegetables and seeds! It was so colorful! and there was another one with the villa haha one of the 3 with the villa in it.

Hello everyone! Please vote for your favorite listed here. We’ve corrected the name issue in the poll, thank you for calling that out.
There were MANY entries and we tried to pick a variety of the spectrum as well as image quality and clarity consideration. No matter what someone will always be unsatisfied.
If you do not see your banner in rotation and you submitted an entry, it is possible it will still be used because we will be adding more banners to rotation soon.

I don’t like any of these finalists, there were much better banners. I also can’t believe #4 is in the lead, all the brown makes the farm look like a wasteland =/

I really loved lorena’s banner, it has got so much uniqueness in it and feels like it has been done so professionally, all other designs are really beautiful, it is really hard to vote the best because i felt all are best.The only thing lorena has done was a different colour effect than what normal farmville has..Keep up the good work friends

I was overwhelmed with the talent I saw in the rotating banner. I am underwhelmed with the finalsts picked. Don’t get me wrong they are good and show more talent than I could ever pretend to have. But there were some jaw dropping ones! Come one farmfreak.

None of these really stand out to me like some of the others that I saw in rotation, but being in the entertainment business myself, where everything is so subjective, this is the way it is. I am just happy that FarmvilleFreak has these contests, to keep people inspired to be creative and to be able to share their creativity with us!

It’s sad really…I emailed them with questions about clarity and which file and never got a response. No offense to farmville freak, but this contest was completely unfair due to the lack of information that was handed out, because I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one who asked questions to the given email address and never had a response. :[ I checked every day, in my inbox and my junk….Nothing…

BTW, I really like #4…But…The background doesn’t look like it was their own, (don’t get me wrong I love it, but there were a lot of people who drew/created their backgrounds from scratch. I give them thumbs up), plus the tree is from farmtown….

Hmmmmm…. These look like Farmville banners. Farmville FREAKS should be edgier, sillier- these all look the same- farm scene, farm scene, farm scene. I rather liked the straight jacket entry. Lorena got my vote because it was so INVITING…dawn over the farm. However, I do agree with a post above that more edgy, funny, banners would have been nice, as this is the “freak” website, not the “official site”. Great job to everyone, though!

The thing that totally turned the last one off for me was that big cow with that obnoxious queer grin. I always thought that made the cow look like it was getting plowed from the rear in a perverse way. The other four are equal in quality, so I’m just going to roll a D4 and let God decide.

#1 is the best of this group, but I saw better ones in the shuffle, MUCH better. The one with all the harvestable crops in a collage for one, that was good. And the one that just popped up on my banner with a barn in the middle, veggies on one side, flowers on another, that one was better than these picks as well.

Olivia, I was wondering the same thing… LOL a little diversity is nice– Something about the farming and too much Blond hair starts to look a little creepy. I was disappointed that none of the finalist banners have any brown-skinned farmers on them. They are very pretty, though. Maybe we’ll see some better ideas in that area when the next contest comes around.

Yeah I just counted, in the finalist banners there are 10 people and not a single one with anything but the lightest skin tone. But in my experience the folks who play the game are pretty diverse.
