FarmVille Yukon Birch Tree

Posted on January 21, 2010 10:48 pm by FarmVille Freak FarmGoddess

The FarmVille Birch Tree was released as a special limited edition item from the Yukon set.

FarmVille Yukon Birch Tree

You may have seen this Birch Tree before as we mentioned it on FarmVille Freak months ago ;)

The Birch Tree can be purchased in the FarmVille Market for 5 FV$ or farm cash for the next seven days.

I have a feeling that Farm_Guru will like this tree too.

The Birch Tree is ready to harvest in ____ days and yields ____ coins. Decoration!

i LOVE the new birch trees… i went and got a bunch of the “get fv cash” things and signed up for stuff i wanted anyhow… (newspaper, videos etc) i dont care if they produce or not… love the way they LOOK! wish people would stop just sending the stupid dragonfly…. it’s almost worse than teh mystery box!!! i want WALNUT TREES for cryin out loud!!!! LOL! i’m not sure if people are just too lazy to look or what, but i get a LOT of “default” items in the fit list when if they would jsut SCROLL down a bit and give me something i’d REALLY like…lol alhtough… i’ve been known to sell dupes when i get too many. love the new yukon stuff… i got two moose (meese) two doe, 4 birch, 1 sauna and 1 woolly mamoth statue. i already had the jackalope, lopeared bunny, 2 buffalo, 2 deer, 2 pea**** and 2 orange tabby, 2 clydesdale. oh yeah, and ONE steer…lol! (anyone know the 12 steps of fv addiction???)

  12. Karl X Says:

I like the mix of colors that a variety of trees give in surrounding my house, but I’m not crazy about these “decorative” trees. Along with the birch, we also have the evergreen which is not harvestable. I hope this trend does not continue.

  13. Farmer Jen Says:

I agree with Karl X. Decorative trees take up space that won’t help us progress in the game. I’m not a fan.

  14. Carmen Says:

Hey Tim.. a couple of my friends got the Llama out of a mystery box..

  15. Jana Says:

    A question:

Donna H. – where do you sign up for stuff that give you FV cash?
On the page for getting more money within the game – there is no such thing. Maybe the offers of that sort are for USA only?

  16. Violet Says:

FarmVille had given its users virtual cash for various advertising offers: for instance, you would get some virtual currency for signing up for Netflix. However, FarmVille has been accused of scamming its users through misleading offers, such as filling in bogus survey or IQ tests which in fact subscribe the users to an unwanted service which appears on the phone bill.[8][9] In a video posted November 9, 2009, Zynga CEO Mark Pincus says “I did every horrible thing in the book too, just to get revenues right away. I mean we gave our users poker chips if they downloaded this Zwinky toolbar which was like, I don’t know, I downloaded it once and couldn’t get rid of it.” In regards to business practices.[10] Michael Arrington of TechCrunch accused Facebook of allowing Zynga’s FarmVille to continue these practice because a great deal of the money it gets from such leads is reinvested in ads inside the Facebook network.[9] In response to this negative publicity, Zynga removed all virtual cash offers on 8 November 2009 and it is currently only possible to supplement in-game cash by making a direct payment.[11] Zynga is now facing a potential class action lawsuit as a result of these practices.[12][13]
