Farmville released three new St. Patrick’s Day themed crops- Shamrock, Green Hellebores, and Green Roses.
These crops are only available for 7 days and may be purchased in the FarmVille Market.
There is no Crop Mastery available for these limited edition crops.

I like these crops (: but I’m always kinda disappointed when they have specialty animals, because they all cost FV. I’m never buying any with my own real money, so all I can do is admire them.

For those complaining about mastery of limited edition seeds:
Are you aware that the purpose of mastery to allow you to get extra XP for your crops after you have completed the third level of mastery? Therefore, there is NO point in having mastery for limited edition seeds that will only be available for 1 week. The only thing you would get out of it is a sign post to stick on your farm that has no more room to begin with (until they expand some more)
I am surprised that no one is whining about the puppy release.

Katee, I think they’re trying to keep the game casual. Remember the people who were waking up at 4am just to harvest Super Pumpkins?

As I’m more focused on decorating then masteries the lack of mastering doesn’t bother me…I’m sure you have lots of crops left to master…I do feel your pain though if your going to grow them anyway you might as well get something for it
I would however LOVE if they would come out with a garden shed expansion if they’re going to keep releasing limited flowers every couple weeks…my garden shed can’t handle it!!

I already complained about the lack of dog release on new release items. I believe there is at least one other complaint on there, feel better? Hate to disappoint the people who like to complain about the people who complain (or notice) about things.

you know I really like this site but I am ridiculously sick of the people who come on here and post “first” and “first comment” CONSTANTLY. This is a site for fans and for people who are looking for info on the game, not somewhere to come and write “FIRST” in a comment section. SO TIRED OF IT! Maybe the admins can do something about this.

All the limited crops since super pumpkins have seemed like a waste to me… These crops may look nice, but they aren’t very special since you don’t earn much more money like superberries did and you still can’t get a mastery sign! You should at least be able to show off that you were able to master the limited crops!

@ Nick — I agree about being able to show off that we were able to master the limited crops. So far since I’ve been playing I have only seen the super pumpkins have mastery levels. I wish they would start doing more limited crops!

Oh, the horrors of being up every 4 hours to harvest the pumpkins.. *Facepalm* My farm was completely demolished because I was putting plots in every nook & cranny to get the mastery for it!

Actually, you DO get a mastery sign for the limited edition crops that allow for mastery.
I, personally, am more upset that we haven’t gotten a garden shed expansion yet. I like to keep a few of the limited edition flowers in there, and well- my shed is full because they keep coming out with new flowers & no expansion.
& about the dog– Ya’ll are whining for nothing. Everything good like that is almost always farmcash. I will be surprised if it is NOT farmcash.

Very upset about the fact that there is no mastery. For me the Mastery Signs are a great decoration, I think they look cool and I would like to have the signs of the limited edition crops exactly as that: a limited edition, hard to get, cool looking decoration.

You may have misunderstood what I said. I mean’t that all the crops after the super pumpkin have not had a mastery option and do not offer large amounts of money per harvest like superberries did. I would just rather stick with regular crops and get those mastery signs.

I also wish they would make the shamrocks a permanent crop, but really wish they’d made them a 4-day instead of 4-hour crop. You can’t even enjoy them! Gotta harvest before they wilt, no fun at all.
Wish they would make all ’special’ crops mastery-able so we can at least have the signs once they’re gone. I would so LOVE a shamrock mastery sign!!!
