FarmVille Super Pumpkins Extended
Super Pumpkins should now be available to all farmers, not just Fans of FarmVille.
Due to an overwhelming response and technical issues related to that Zynga will also be extending the period of time that Super Pumpkins can be grown.
Just a reminder, Super Pumpkins also have Crop Mastery.
Official word from Zynga spokewoman Lexilicious:
“…Due to the overwhelming response to the Super Pumpkin event, we have been experiencing some technical difficulties.
In order to ensure that our Fans are able to continue enjoying the Super Pumpkin Event, we are allowing all of our players to participate!
We will be extending the Super Pumpkin Event to compensate for the time lost due to the technical difficulties.

Will we get a sign for level3 mastery? The levels are 1250/1250/2500 so 5000 at all, not that much.

I don’t get it, they are having problems because SO MANY people are using the pumpkins, so the solution is for everyone to do them? And to ensure that all the fans enjoy the crop, all non fans can now plant them? Damn I wish I could have some of the weed they are smoking

lol, no you won’t. They are doing crop mastery, but you don’t get a sign. Makes about as much sense as anything else they do…

WOW… Can we PLEASE get a final date for when the pumpkins will no longer be available?
I just want to know if I will be able to finish my 5000 before they take them away.
(As of now, I will be one harvest away from mastery if they take away super pumpkin seeds tomorrow)

I should have my sign tomorrow. The extension information would have been useful yesterday morning as I deleted 559 plots of grapes that were 65% done to be sure I had enough time to get my mastery sign. I have issues.

The mastery sign looks exactly like the normal pumpkin. What the heck? Honestly, I’m mostly doing it at this point to help with the veggie ribbon.

Farm doesn’t load properly, today.
No animals, building etc.
Just harvested most of my crops, plowed the land, but the market doesn’t open
Instead of adding things to farmville every 5 minutes. Leave it alone and let us play.
When there are problems Zynga should “lock” the farm and stop players from accessing the farm and a message should go to the players “neighbours” stating the players farm is unavailable.
When bugs are ironed out the farm should be “Unlocked” and the player should be aloud back into the game.
Just a though, mind!

Ive seen some reeeaally dumb post here from people who just make themselves look stupid…. and then comes along “Jkod”. Why on earth would anyone, not only BRAG that they obviously ran a bot to get the pumpkin achievement …. but actually LINK their farm for the world to see that you have overlapping plots. Don’t be surprised if you get banned you knucklehead… wow, it doesn’t get any dumber than that folks

Wow, Jkod, cheating and proud of it. That’s kind of pathetic.
I’m pushing to get the mastery in the original deadline (don’t trust that it’ll be extended). I’ll need to catch up on my sleep afterwards, but if I can get it (without cheating), it’ll be cool.

The deadline for the super pumpkins is the amount of time Facebook takes to fix its problems. Look at the topand there will be a yellow bar that say something about Facebook issues. So for example if it stays up for three days there will be a three day extension on the growing time.

When the super pumpkins first came out, they had a Feb. 2 11:59 pm EST limited time. As of today, I’m guessing after “extending” the time, there was a Jan 29 (tomorrow for most of us) 11:59 pm EST limit. They didn’t extend at all! Now I’m having to figure out how to do this and work tomorrow to get the mastery done, haha. Sad, but true. Is this really the limit, tomorrow night??!

I can’t wait till i get my super pumpkin mastery sign—i’m not counting on any deadline though and i think i will have it by friday at midnight—-i had to do alot of demolishing to my farm in order to do it too and i’m over 200 into my 3rd star YAAAAAAAAY.

Why would anybody want to master pumpkins again? All they did was make the pumpkin larger and brighter.
I’d rather see fruits and veggies that they’re missing in the seeds section, not duplicate crops.
I like the new tree crops, but why don’t they ever come out with new seeds other than flowers and this lame super pumpkin?

Got my mastery sign this afternoon. Looks just like the regular pumpkin mastery sign except maybe the stem is a bit longer. 22 mastery signs down, a bunch to go.

So I was about to seed super pumpkins again and all of a sudden they’re gone when the podcast said 11;59 Jan 30th expiration time. I only had 2 full harvest to go until mastery. Zynga freakin sucks. Current time 10;15 arizona time zone

I just logged in and poof! The Super Pumpkins are gone. No extension.
They have their act all messed up. First it is Feb 2, then it is Jan 29, then it is “extended” for whatever reason and then it is dead at 11:59 EASTERN time.
