FarmVille Unwithers
Thank you to FarmVille Freak They & Emilyvine for providing us the screenshots of FarmVille’s 3 Unwither item.
A limited number of farmers have early access to a new FarmVille feature called “Unwithers”. Please note, that not everyone will have access to this function yet.

Unwithers work by letting you apply the special formula to restore withered crops! You can use it on your farm or on your neighbor’s farm.

Unwithers can be purchased in the FarmVille Market for 30 FV$ (for a set of 3). They are located in the FarmVille Market under the “Upgrade Farm” tab.

I wouldn’t spend $30 FV. Besides the way things have been going, Zynga has been unwithering crops once a week.

That is way too expensive. Especially considering that the people who probably have that type of FV are smart with their farming. And if they let a batch wither it that much of a loss of coins to waste FV on.

And no, I am not planning on purchasing this tool, if you can’t plan your planting and harvesting or accept that occasionally life will get in the way of your gaming, you have other issues.

I mean who in their right mind would spend $30FV to unwither three crops? Shucks…lose the crop and plant again..it is much cheaper to lose coins than to spend FV dollars! I mean, really now??

They should have realeased this together with the Super Pumpkins, all lot of people would have spend this kind of Money at that time, but now? I don’t think so.

Nope…I’m not falling for this one. This has got to be the dumbest one yet to spend real money on. I don’t ever let my crops wither anyway. I have 170 FV$ and it will probably all get spent on animals—i love them all!!! (except for those silly football ones)
Oh ya…where is that to-do-list?
My roomate gets the pop-up for it too but nothing yet.
DON’T LET YOUR CROPS WITHER—that’s all there is to it.☺

Seriously, what’s the point of spending 30 Farm Cash, when you can just replant for a fraction of that? If it’s a crop that takes a while to grow…it still doesn’t make sense. If this thing was about 5 cash, it would make a little more sense, but it is now among the more expensive items in the market…I do not have this feature, and I wouldn’t use it, because I plant my crops based on when I can get to harvesting…absolute waste.

If Farmville wanted to get people to buy this, they should not only unwilt the crops, but the entire farm should be fertilized too. Some people with over 500 squares may pay 10 FV$ for 500 XP. I wouldn’t, but that’s a little better than the XPs for the mystery box.

if i had so much FV cash i would never bought it. Coz i plant my seeds according to the time that i can harvest them. If such an extreme situation occurs and my crops withers, it would be not the end of world even for the crops which grows in 4 days. I would plow them again.Since i do not pay for this game, even for the mystery boxes, I collect my FV’s for Pagoda!! One day I’ll get my Pagoda I believe it

Actually think about it, if you have a crop that will yield you 70,000 coins it may be a good idea. Because to buy 70,000 it cost 40 dollars. To buy 30 FV $ you just spend 10 then you get 55, so 30 spent 22 left over. It actually saves you money if you think about it,

That might be true, but don’t forget that getting coins is easy…Farm Cash…not so much. Unless you buy Farm Cash, this item is not worth it…and it’s only worth it if you plant one of the more profitable crops like peas or grapes…it would be useless for wheat.

the selling of 70,000 coins for $40 is ridiculous and does not even represent the true value. For example a manor is $56 and the resell is 10,000, a villa is 1 million coins and the resells is also 10,000. So a more apporopiate value of fv cash to coins is like 56 fv cash for 1 million coins. I can not imagine who would buy farmville coin and the only reason I could see if someone at a very level with no coins at all who wants to buy a limited items with coins that would disappear before they have the time to make the coins, If your whole crop costs about 70.000 coin yield, you are probably at a higher level and could easily make 70,000 without spending cash in at most couple of days.

You’re right about it not being worth it to buy coins…but the Villa can be sold for 50,000 coins. A building that matches the manor is the General Store, which is bought for 200,000 coins.
But overall, hardly anyone would spend money to buy coins…they’re easy enough to make, and even if you almost run out, plant strawberries or soybeans, and you can gain some profit from them…if you have animals, this is even easier.
Farm Cash is obviously a lot more difficult to obtain…when we spend it, we lose it. It’s difficult to earn it again. For those who do not pay for Farmville, you’ll stop getting cash when you reached the level cap (70). For me, this means I can get a maximum of 26 Farm Cash…still not enough to buy this.
This unwither is probably the most useless thing Zynga has released, and I’m including decorations in that. It’s not worth it’s price, and unless there are some Farmville Freaks out there that cannot stand it if their crops wither, no one will buy this…the time they took to work on this would have been better spent creating new crops, new animals, and maybe even a new expansion.
But unfortunately, they didn’t. But I think they will realize how pointless this is when no one buys it.
