But as others are saying, I can’t even get it to load all the way. I synced with FB but it keeps shutting off at about 75%

We get it first in New Zealand as we saw the 23rd first, this is the rollout date. Just saw my sister play it, looks okay, now to get those limited items on our farm, must use different gamesettings

And if you try to get items which are not there in the iphone version, the game says sync error, has to reconnect to fv servers, than it doesn’t load for the second time, it crashes…IMO this is very much in the beta state still….

sorry, I meant items which are not there in the original, non-iphone version, but somehow they appear in the iphone’s market, than it says sync error, at least for me.

Got it in UK from Appstore on iphone. Notice that you can’t use gifts for Tuscan wedding or parts to build horsestables/nursery barns etc. Says they are web only.

Just rolled out here in Sweden, I won’t load yet of some reason, i see the loading bar some seconds and the it say’s ” There seems to be an issues loading your farm. Try again?”

I’m testing it right now too. I got it using my Finnish account even though I live in US. I just had to have it NOW hehehe. It’s pretty smooth. I upgraded my iPhone 3GS to iOS4 on 21st.
After spending a few minutes with the game, I’m positively surprised. I have a level 90 farm with TONS of stuff on it and everything is loading up nicely and I was able to harvest trees and animals. Didn’t find a way to harvest stable yet. This will be perfect for occasional playing, but main gaming is still going to happen on my MacBook Pro.
I wasn’t able to find any of the iPhone only giftable animals or iPhone only items in the market. Maybe they’ll be updated tonight.

OF COURSE. my itouch HAVE. to have a version of 3.0 .. it was working fine last december until the company decided to change the ****ing application. and i tried maybe 5 times to get the upgrade verison 3.0 but it won’t let me. **** it.

i got the app but it just pops up with an error message saying we can’t load your farm, would you like to try again? and it never works, but i can logon via facebook on my laptop to farmville. STRANGE

Okay so I used to just be able to go on facebook on my itouch and collect my friends bonuses and everything.. But just the other day it wouldn’t let me. I would click on it and it just highlights it. Is this happening to anyone else?

Yes my iPhone is doing the exact same thing!!!! I hate it!!! I tried it on my dad’s iPhone with my account and everything. It worked perfectly!!! Got a few mystery eggs, everything went fine.

I was so excited when i logged onto Farmville Freak on my lunch break and saw this article. Instantly I reached in anticipation for the Iphone and found the application available in Australia (YAAAY). After waiting patiently for Telstra’s supposedly fast 3G network to download the application, I open it up and waited again patiently for it to load.
The initial screen said to wait as it may take a few mins to load for the first time. Took about two mins, then a message came up about Push notices, I could see my farm behind and the and was grinning like an idiot, until the app closed by it’s self before going past that Push screen.
I have now tried several times to load the app only to have it continually close by it’s self before getting past the loading screen. The last time I had a message that Farmville is not currently available, please try again later.

I live in USA and I was able to download the app! It’s way faster on my iphone than the video. At first when I saw the video, I thought to myself that it’s going to be a pain in the butt, but sure enough, my fv on my iphone was super fast!

ok, This dudes ipod touch SUCKS!!!! Dude I tryed it on my ipod touch 3rd gen and everything flew! But his lags and is a is a piece of CRAP! my advice people get a 3rd gen.

I put the app on my ipad and it will not load my farm, I have installed and taken off and keep doing it but it says it is having a problem loading my farm. Is this not for use with ipad?

I’ve got it on my ipod touch and it’s nearly impossible to play. When it’s not crashing, it’s not loading completely. When it comes up (finally), many of the icons (including my avatar) are missing.
It’s obvious the ipod doesn’t have enough memory to handle this — and from what I’m hearing most iphones are having the same problem.
The main reason I downloaded it was to get the trees and the snow leopard — so far, not getting a lot of luck doing that. I’ll let y’all know if I have any success.

This looks amazing, I have an iPod Touch so I will get it whenever my internet connection comes back on.
In the meantime, does anyone know if it’s a free app? Or does it cost 99p or something?
This will really be much better than all those crappy farm games on the App Store like iFarm, etc.

Loaded fine and I’m level 81, but the Snow Leopard (iPhone animal) and Banded Cow ($1M coins) did not appear on the farm. Ouch!

Is there news on the reason why some IPhones 3G shut down after 75% loading (Yellow bar) and startup shuts down?…. Some people have this problem like me and some with the same phone does not. Are there people who got the problem and fixed it? Thanks for letting me know.

My daughter has the iPod touch 64GB and there haven’t been any issues with it. I managed to gift all of my over 100 neighbors the white apple tree and bought the white leopard and the rainbow trees. It could have something to do with which device you are using. She has a ton of space on hers too and that could be another reason why the app runs so fast with no issues so far LOL.

Yeah the app is for free! I got 4 snow leopard and rainbow trees with no problem thru my son’s Ipod Touch 8gb.

I like the farmville app. I would like it more if it would crash every 5 mins. doesn’t matter if I am on 3g or wifi.. boots up, can play for a short time, then boom back to the home screen of the iphone… there has already been one update to the app since it was released, hopely they are working on another patch to get this app to actually work on the iphone..

Having issues with thhe app was so imprressed with how smooth and quick it is that i was using it to harvest /plow and seed and just using my laptop to harvest animals etc, today i get an error that say “there seems to be an issue loading you farm want to try again” of coursre i click try again to get same fault, any users getting same issues??? if so does anyone know how to sort this??
