Super Pumpkin crop ends on 11:59 (Pacific time) Saturday, January 30th
Will there be dogs in FarmVille?
- Dogs will be released to FarmVille in the near future. There is no official release date.
Coming Soon:
- Horse Stables will be released. You heard it first here on FarmVille Freak. The Horse Stable will be a functional “building that matters”. You will be able to build your very own Horse Stable on your farm.
- Valentine’s Day limited edition items. There will be a set of Valentine’s Day themed items. You will also be able to send Valentines, Chocolates, and Candy to your FarmVille neighbors.

I think the deadline for the super pumpkins is a bit steep. wasn’t the original deadline supposed to be february 2nd? and didn’t they say we would get extra time for the glitches? hmph!

UGH! I won’t get my mastery sign for the pumpkins, that’s for sure. They said that the time on them was like Feb 2nd— THAT SURE ISN’T EXTENDING THE TIME TO ME!

@Drew– Drew, I have no reason to think they wouldn’t bring out mud, as we already have grass, I do hope they do though it would really make the pigs enviroment look more ‘pigish’ ^.^

I was disgusted of NO mention of anything for the Olympics! Super Bowl is American and this game is world wide. Just makes me shake my head.

did they just shorten the super pumpkin time?!!!!!!!!!!!!! i thought they said an EXTENSION!!! but now they just cut 3 days off?!!!!!!!!

Wendy & Alice – just thinking that maybe they aren’t allowed to use the Olympics, I’m sure NBC has licensing rights over them and the price to use it may be pretty steep. Maybe if they had Olympic stuff then they would have to jack up all of the prices and everyone would be complaining about how expensive everything woudl be. I don’t know this for sure, just speculation on my part – have to agree that the Olympic stuff would be pretty cool.

Well, now I will be waiting on the stable purchase and v-day themes before I spend anymore “cash”, though I may get a tool shed anyway. Trying to figure out which other buildings *may* be functional in the future.

For the people crying about them “shortening” the super pumpkins deadline you should know that the original 2/2 deadline was a mistake according to Zynga. The original end date was supposed to be 1/29 @ 11:59 PM PST. The 2/2 listing was a mistake. Super pumpkins were never supposed to last that long. Therefore taking into consideration that the original intended deadline was 1/29, moving it to 1/30 is in fact an extension. Still not much of an extension if you ask me and Zynga definitely should have clarified this for everyone who never got the message that 2/2 was not the correct original deadline, but an extension nonetheless.

Well, I did get my super pumpkin mastery this evening so it was very possible to get it by the cutoff tonight. Glad they did extend it 24 hours for people.

grr, im so annoyed that they said that they were gonna extend the deadline and totally kept it at the originally very quickly approaching date. I just got my second star and along with half of you, I’m gonna spend a restless night waking up every four hours in order to harvest.
the thing that annoyed me was that everyone (i think) was taking the pumpkins slow because they thought we would get extra time. zynga screwed us over yet again..

@Fink I just noticed the same thing…after reading the podcast transcript it says “The Super Pumpkin event will end at 11:59 PM PST on Saturday, January 30th” that implies tomorrow night. So I began deleting all 435 of my plots that I had planted expensive onions on to plant pumpkins only to find they were removed on 11:59 PM January 29th…..I am not happy with Zynga…this has been one mistake after another…someone buy them a calendar!

well, if i’m not wrong, the picture of the dog has been release on the official farmville Community forums. That means is not going to be too long for farmville to realease its dog in the farm market!~ ^^
Really looking forward~ by the way i am still sad over the end of the super pumpkin….farmville should really extend that…..:(

Let’s face it, ZYNGA sucks and if we had any semblance of lives, we’d use this is a good reason to quit this habit and do something far more productive.
If this had been something you could buy with FV cash, they’d have sent email reminders, had a ticking clock counting down the days and then hours you had left to buy it.

It was stupid enough to do it for three days in the first place, people could have crops growing, all three day were on week days so people were at school and work and no one wants to wake up every four hours when they have work or school the next day.

C’mon Zynga… A lot of people, including me, had problems getting these super pumpkins unlocked. You can’t promise us we have 3 extra days if we only have one! It was perfect for me with february 2. since I’ll have the pumpkins mastered tomorrow. And now you tell us it end TODAY! Farmville is about planning, so you know when you have to harvest your crops, how many and when they’ll be mastered. But you really make it difficult for us to plan anything when you can’t keep your promises… -___-
One extra day is NOT enough.

i mastered only the peas and the sunflowers……. so??
u dont need that sign anyway….y’all are crazy about farmville if you want to master each crop…. i just try to level up and re-design my farm after 10 levels or something so i can get some new stuff….. and as said, life continues……
