FarmVille 7-Eleven Promotion Zynga Cup Distribution Sheet
FarmVille Freak Ali spotted a “Zynga Cup Distribution” at a local 7-Eleven which outlines the details of the 7-Eleven and Zynga cross-promotion.
“Hi there Farm Goddess!
So I was in 7-11 tonight hoping to find some early Farmville edition stuff… I didn’t, but while I was in there I did find a sheet left on a shelf by an employee. It outlines details of the promotion. It also references the prebook which I think you guys already have up on your site.
Thought you might find this interesting! A scan of both sides is attached.
Thanks

Posted on May 13th, 2010 at 1:33 am
We don’t have a 7-11 in our area….No worries about shortages here….
Posted on May 13th, 2010 at 1:36 am
It’s not even very good icecream lol!
Posted on May 13th, 2010 at 1:38 am
There are 711s everywhere around here. There might be shortages in our neighborhood & around the university, but I’ll bet I could head down to the ghetto & find everything still there.
lol

Very interesting. The slurpees will have their own cups. I hope this all goes smoothly and with as little scams as possible. What’s a Fanta Gogiberry?
Posted on May 13th, 2010 at 1:47 am
Leave it to Zynga/FarmVille to bring together 2 words I never thought I’d see in the same phrase: premium Slurpee
Posted on May 13th, 2010 at 1:48 am
remember when people went crazy over cabbage patch kids in the 80′s? stampedes, riots, fires, hurt feelings….
imagine the 11 o’clock news – a couple old ladies wrestling in the aisles of 7- 11 over the last slurpee cup.
stories of people getting fatter, never leaving their homes…only to get more ice cream and big gulps.
i see the future people, it ain’t pretty.

I have a 7-11 a block away. I still can’t figure out what the hoopla is about or what they are selling. You have to buy a sugar drink to get a cup that says Farmville on it? Be still my heart!
Posted on May 13th, 2010 at 2:04 am
Gogiberry flavored Slurpees? Yummy yum yum, I’m all over that!
Posted on May 13th, 2010 at 2:05 am
@deb, not just a cup….a cup with a code, honey! which leads to virtual delights
Posted on May 13th, 2010 at 2:12 am
Apparently the gogiberry has a higher concentration of vitamin C then oranges. This could be pandemonium on the scale of the tickle me elmo riots.
Posted on May 13th, 2010 at 2:16 am
Haha technically my boyfriend found it on the shelf while I was looking to see if they had any of the stuff in yet…. When he found it, he put it in his back pocket LOL
Posted on May 13th, 2010 at 2:22 am

What about us people who are handicapped & can’t get out of the house & into stores to riot thru people to get to these cups & ice cream? I think Zynga is being very short sighted & leaving a lot of people out of the chance of being able to even TRY to participate in this. The packs of cards were one thing but now this? My 1st problem is I have no idea where there is even a 7-11 in my area. And my 2nd problem is with my handicap I can’t just get in a car & go to a store to even try to get anything. I’m getting very tired of Zynga & these hoops they are making us jump thru, I can’t jump so maybe I’ll just quit!!!

Posted on May 13th, 2010 at 3:00 am
@Debbie, How do you normally get groceries or shop for other items? Get this the same way. Or ask someone to get it for you.
Posted on May 13th, 2010 at 7:15 am
Farmgirl, you are assuming people will actually DRINK the slurpee to induce fatness. I presume some smart farmer will go to Seven 11, buy 50 slurpee cups and never splash a bit of slurpee in one! (Then sell the cups on eBay!)
I wonder just how much a person would pay for a farmville water slide?????
Posted on May 13th, 2010 at 7:26 am
I am super annoyed that they are doing this through 7-11 and there are none for 100 miles or more from me
NO Stores in NC! This is majorly unfair… I hope they come up with something else in our area so we can get stuff other people can’t. Maybe one day there will be the ability to trade. *sigh*
NFG

Posted on May 13th, 2010 at 11:28 am
It will all be available at the market soon…. just be patient and DONT BUY IT ON EBAY!! There will be scams galore. I’ve never heard of Gogiberry… what is it?

#18 Debbie – please don’t whine – it gives all of us with disabilities a bad name. There are plenty of us with disabilities that don’t whine and find solutions. MOST people have problems with this promotion – no 7-11 near by, no money, no car, etc etc. Life isn’t fair. We should all just get creative and stop whining – it’s a game for goodness sake!
Posted on May 13th, 2010 at 10:10 pm
Liz – what is MMO?
Posted on May 13th, 2010 at 11:07 pm

Stealth wasn’t really needed… I just walked up to the counter and asked.
Posted on May 14th, 2010 at 8:39 am
I’m from Srbia and we don’t have a 7-11 store.
How will we from here get the codes?
Posted on May 14th, 2010 at 3:17 pm
@SuzieQ – MMO = Massive Multiplayer Online – online game with a huge following. Like Farmville.
MMORPG – Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game – Like World Of Warcraft.
Posted on May 14th, 2010 at 5:04 pm
What about us – we dont even have 7-11 LOL
Posted on May 15th, 2010 at 7:35 pm
Do the different sized Zynga Gulp cups have different prizes? All cups except the Big Slurpee cup are now available here. 3 different sized gulps have Zynga and Buy Earn Play codes and markings.

GOJI BERRY SLURPEE, NEW GOJI BERRY SEED — nobody at farmvillefreak has made this connection? <3
Posted on May 17th, 2010 at 8:41 pm
Good grief people – this type of marketing is the reason there’s competitive pricing and deals out there for us to cash in on! 7-11 had the marketing smarts to partner with Zynga for this promotion – kudos to them! Maybe it will help the franchise and they can expand the chain into more areas. If you don’t have a 7-11 in your area, write or call the corporate headquarters of convenience stores around you and tell them how much you wanted to participate in the 7-11 deal and mention how great it would be if THEY would also partner with Zynga for a similar promotion. The success of this will create a ton of additional opportunities for everyone!

I got a cup today at my 7-11, the cup says the promotion starts on 5/17 but the website http://www.buyearnplay.com says it doesn’t start until June 1. Mine is not a slurpee cup, mine is a Super Big Gulp cup.
Posted on May 18th, 2010 at 7:08 pm
The promotion officially starts on June 1st, but the redemption website is supposed to be up and running on 19 May 2010 (Pushed back from the origianl date of the 17th.) Most stores will be getting in cups and product this week (Dallas tonight). Stores are not required to have it out until the 1st but you might be able to find items earlier especially fresh fruit and sandwich items. Oh and all the codes will work 3 times before they are invalid in case people go in and just write the codes down without purchasing.
Posted on May 18th, 2010 at 8:14 pm
I have no 7-11 stores and I will be buying the code on Ebay, so buy all the extra items people and I have no care whatsoever for the slurpee or ice cream or whatever fattening junk the code is attached to. I just want 1 code of each item, won’t break the bank so Ebay here I come.
Btw, if Ebay has a seller that is scamming you will be backed up by your purchase, I have been selling on Ebay for years and have had ZERO problems that Ebay did not resolve. So it is safe people, just buy from a seller with over 50 feedback.

There’s a 7-11 in the Ormond Beach/Daytona Beach area. Road trip!
Posted on May 24th, 2010 at 11:00 am
Well we just found out that our 7-11 stores here in WV will not have the farmville promotions… that sucks!
Posted on May 25th, 2010 at 10:24 am
My daughter and I started our 7-eleven/farmville treasure hunt last night. she recalled all the Kid’s meals we bought for her to collectfor teeny beanies-told her it was “my turn” now. LOL Ran into other farmvillers & a yoviller-store worker clueless about the promo. We did buy several items including the FVC cards. They were not accepted so I emailed about that-still awaiting a reply. Also my iced coffee would not redeem as it was already redeemed. This could be problematic. Thought the point for 7-eleven was to drive traffic to their stores and SELL product. All of us in the store bought but, why not just write codes down and not pay a dime?? I am curious about just how many will pay only to find they can’t use the codes??

Andrea, I don’t know who told you they won’t have any of the promotion here in West Virginia, but it is INCORRECT!!!! I have a friend that lives in Moorefield, WV and they already have purchased a few things. I live in Charleston, and our stores are supposed to have the on 06/04/2010. So West Virginia does participate;)
