FarmVille Beat Hawaii Challange: Collect 1,000,000 Farm Coconuts, Get a Hawaiian Villa

Be prepared to “Beat Hawaii!”. When traveling between farms, you’ll see FarmVille’s “Beat Hawaii” ad for your FarmVille Hawaiian Paradise farm (free access expected to be available tomorrow). This sort of reminds me of the old days. Think back several years ago (circa 2009) when many of us FarmVille Freaks were playing FarmVille for the first time. Before we were bombarded with endless amounts of Limited Edition items, there was one standard Market item that every farmer wanted- the Villa.
Similar to FarmVille Hawaiian Paradise’s Hawaiian Villa, the original FarmVille Villa also cost 1 million Farm Coins. Back then, the Villa was our something to strive for, it was a status quo. Having a Villa on your farm meant that you had arrived into the professional virtual farming ranks and were no longer a newbie.
Perhaps, if you’ll allow it, this Hawaiian Villa can also be a new challenge for you on your new Hawaiian farm. Most farmers who aren’t willing to drop the Farm Cash for pricey items, will instead have to work their way up from the bottom to earn Coconuts. As you already know Coconuts are the preferred currency in Hawaiian Paradise and your Farm Coins are no good there.

you need to make it cheeper than 1,000,000 coconuts, I havae a hard enough time finishing the other things like the winter pen I can’t get all the parts I need & I sure can’t buy the farmville cards

no,evrything is getting to high priced,we dont get a chance to catch up on quest,to many farms and we are losing to many players!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just began the Hawaian farm. Everything cost a lot of coconuts or FC. Its going to take a lot. So many items to collect. The volcano will take forever. How can anyone ever get coconuts up to this rediculous amout to obtain this villa. It would be nice to give us a break sometimes. I’m putting way to much real cash into this. I will have to back out soon if it keeps draining me.

Someone should tell Zynga that the real estate market sucks right now. It’s too expensive to heat/cool a villa. Besides all the Farmville Villas being total land hogs. I’m afraid they need something more interesting than a villa. How about some animals, or coins, which take up less space, and return coins to us?
Guess I’ll find out about the coconuts when the Hawaii theme is released for FREE! I feel sorry for the people who cannot wait for 7 days.

You people are never happy… The coconuts are FREE.. everything you buy with them is FREE… you don’t have to spend any cash if you don’t want too.. About 90% of this farm you can buy with coconuts. So it’s going to take you a little longer to get them.. Who cares. It’s FREE. What fun would this game be if there wasn’t a challenge at all.. You all asked for stuff not to be Farm Cash. Well, Zynga gave it to you, but they want you to work a little for it.. Why should everything just be handed to you? Get a Grip! If you don’t like it, don’t play. PS… this site IS NOT Zynga.. your complaining doesn’t do any good.

I don’t understand.. Do we *have* to buy the villa to gain some sort of status? I remember the old days of FarmVille and everyone talking about how the Villa was THE object to buy (because it’d shoot you to the next level too) but I didn’t bother wasting any money on it once I hit the level required in order to purchase it.

funny you mention the Villa years back. I remember saving up my farm coins and finally bought it. I was proud of myself. Where is it now? just sitting in my storage and i dont even play on the Home Farm that much, only when i need more than 300 crops for something.

The point of this Hawaii thing is to level the playing field back out. Everyone starts at 0, everyone is newb level.
I like the idea of doing things the old fashioned way…having to work for them rather than drop down real life money to buy things. Start at 0, and work until you can afford the million coconut villa, then you get to show it off….kind of like real life lol. I hope they have more challanges like this in the future.

I think this is kinda lame, we already have 4 other farm’s and you can’t buy anything hardly unless you have farm cash and I have other stuff that I need to buy beside’s farm cash…Wow now another farm to have to try and keep up with…Not so sure i’m gonna play this one…Maybe it should be for only like 300,000 coconut’s…Make ppl wanna play it and make it easy and fun…

You can not earn coconuts from trees like jaca, rainbow gum, etc on other farms, they disable it so quick, so funny, if they can fix the bugs as fast as that would be nice and they have the time to do it too.
And if it’s our problem they can not do anything too because its their stupid policy not to do anything. They just want our money and whether you will be satisfied or not they do not care. Just like the MOB says, no offense its only business. (you are more like that Zynga).

I am with Post #8 – Stop your complaining. I can only hope that those posts are from children and not adults. I don’t understand why so many continue to play this game if it is so horrible to participate in.
When the villa was first out it was hard to get – then we found ways to earn money and most of us bought more than one. This will be one that I will work towards getting.

no . why we have to collect so many coconuts? your terms of collections will not allow us to collect enough coconuts to even meet the goal.i will not be visiting or trying to beat you hawaiian goal. change it.

It’s just so ridiculous – do you realize how long it will take to get to that million?
Zynga charges so much for the dumbest items. I remember when all of the trees could be bought for coins except for the Acai tree.
Just goes to show how greedy they’ve become. Also, they would give us 1 fv cash for leveling in farming. They should still do that.
I also would like to be able to switch over easier to all the farms. It takes soooooooooooo long to “travel” from farm to farm… it should be instant when we click on the farm that we want to visit.

they should use different quests and have coconuts as reward prizes so that it won’t cost so much. each quest requests you to plant something which takes away from the coconuts you have saved. the second expansion is 31,000 coconuts, I have been on hawaii for 2 days and can’t get past 15,000. need to lower the price of coconuts to reach the goal

I like the idea of a level playing field. For me the fun is to work for things. If I can just buy them then the game loses interest for me. I remember what was so appealing with Farm ville was working towards a goal and feeling good once I obtained it. I am not happy with all the mini games that are timed. They go too fast and it seems like every second you are asking for something. I know that is part of the game but I like a little time between things so I can work on rearranging things and just enjoying my farms.
Looking forward to the new Hawaiian Paradise.

so, the hawaiian island will be released for free to everybody tomorrow? then the coconuts that I’ve seen occasionally show up when i harvest trees can be used for this villa? sorry if this has already been covered but it’s hard to keep up with all the new things and quests and such these days. thank you!

I did the million in one freakin day!!! Why do you complain so much?! Get neighbours that are already on Hawaii and get some seedlings from the hawaiian trees put them in orchards on Hawaii Farm and harvest them…i started with 5 freakin rainbow trees and other hawaiian trees and 5 orchards…geez you complain a lot!
