The FarmVille Charming Vineyard arrived! The Charming Vineyard serves as FarmVille’s next portal for a voting system with free prizes and the storable Charming Vineyard too.
Depending on the votes you receive determines which vineyard you end up with. The Traditional Vineyard has the majority of left side votes, while the Contemporary Vineyard is right side vote dominated. This means that if most of your votes are on the Left side then you will end up with the Traditional Vineyard and if most your votes are Right side then you will end up with the Contemporary Vineyard. Make sense? Simply tell your friends which way you’d like them to vote by leaving a comment in your Facebook News Feed share to insure you get the vineyard you most desire.
The Charming Vineyard offers some unique prizes heavy on the grapes that FarmVille wine lovers are sure to appreciate. All of the prizes are great, but it’s the bonuses that may surprise you. Instead of the usual avatar costumes for completing a voting cycle, FarmVille got sneaky and replaced the avatar clothing with wait-for-it . . . crops! Yep, there’s a total of seven new exclusive crops that you’ll have access to if you can obtain the correct votes. So sly, big Z. You really know how to make us work. The seven Charming Vineyard Bonus Crops are listed below.

The first Day of available voting starts off with the question, “Would I rather follow my nose or take a guided tour?”. The Traditional theme is on the left side with the Contemporary vineyard on the right side with the prizes of Vinter Gnome (left) or Valet Gnome (right).

It seems as if Farmville’s newest release has yet another bug. When I place the vineyard either I get the Whoa Farmer error message or if I am able to place it and ask for votes, the vineyard popup greys out, my farm freezes and then it disappears. And just think, I was so excited for a vineyard on my farm.
Once again, I have emailed FV/Zynga.

I can only place it on my Home Farm. I’ve tried the other farms, but it causes the application to error out. FYI

So is the pictured brown vineyard the traditional one or the contemporary one? Or is the white one with white grapes the contemporary one?
Little more help please before we start clicking on prizes.

Agree with Beth and May.
I am unable to play with this coz my farm freezes over as soon as I click on “ask for votes”. When I reload my farm, the vienyard is gone.
I tried this on 3 farms and then quit and reported to Zynga. Waiting for their reply.
All my neighbours have even passed the first set of getting votes

ok soo I have to say it….too many new “things to do” + more bugs and glitches = a frustrated farmer yet again. Am I alone on this?

Ya..I put the “charming vineyard” on my farmville….and now I cannot get back into farmville! It won’t load completely…..Thanks folks.

What is the combinations of votes to request to unlock certain type of grape? Trying to unlock different grapes without having to pay for them.

@ Mark: The way to get all the grape crops is simpler than people think.
You will have to play through all 6 rounds 7 times to get all 7 varieties of grape.
First time through: Get all votes for LEFT side in all 6 rounds, win all LEFT side prizes.
Second time through: Get all votes for RIGHT side, win all RIGHT side prizes.
Third time: Get 1st round LEFT side prize, the last 5 rounds get RIGHT side prizes.
Fourth: Get 1st and 2nd LEFT side prizes, the other 4 rounds RIGHT side prizes.
Fifth: Get first 3 rounds LEFT side prizes, the last 3 rounds get RIGHT side prizes.
Sixth: Get first 4 rounds LEFT side prizes, last 2 rounds RIGHT side prizes.
Seventh: Get first 5 rounds LEFT side prizes, last round RIGHT side prize.
So:
6 LEFT, 0 RIGHT: unlocks Sauvignon Blanc
5 LEFT, 1 RIGHT: unlocks Moscato
4 LEFT, 2 RIGHT: unlocks Riesling
3 LEFT, 3 RIGHT: unlocks Pinot Noir
2 LEFT, 4 RIGHT: unlocks Syrah
1 LEFT, 5 RIGHT: unlocks Cabernet Sauvignon
0 LEFT, 6 RIGHT: unlocks Sangiovese
In addition, if you have a preference for which vineyard you want to end up with, you need to get a majority of votes on the final round for the side you want, i.e. the classical vineyard (white grapes, fountain) you’ll get if you get all the LEFT side votes on the final round, the contemporary (purple grapes, flags) if you get all the RIGHT side votes on the final round. Note that the vineyard itself may change back and forth during the grape-unlocking rounds, depending on which side is getting the most votes during that particular part or round. So if you want to end up with the purple grapes vineyard, do the 0 LEFT, 6 RIGHT round last. If you want to end up with the white grapes vineyard, do the 6 LEFT, 0 RIGHT round last. And so on.

well i clicked make my vinyard storable and it disappeared and i cant find it i use the search thing but i does show it exists but i cant c it wtf

I remember placing my vineyard… And then it disappeared. Today, I logged on and it appeared again! Anyone else have that issue?! I’m ticked because I lost out on the opportunity!
