FarmVille Charming Vineyard Exclusive Crops: How to unlock all 7 crops
Tweet |
FarmVille Cabernet Sangioveses
The FarmVille Charming Vineyard rolled out earlier today and in addition to getting free prizes when you obtain enough votes, you can also unlock some new exclusive crops in the process!
What? New crops you say? Yep, FarmVille replaced the usual avatar costume bonus prizes with crops. So even though you’ll have to work a little harder to unlock these crops, we’ve broken it down for you below. Each voting cycle (six questions total per cycle) will unlock a specific bonus prize crop. Remember, the way your friends vote determines which bonus crop you will unlock. The voting cycle can be repeated so that you can actually unlock all seven exclusive crops. No more smalltalk, we’ll get straight to the goods. Simply follow the votes below to unlock each specific Charming Vineyard bonus crop.
FarmVille Charming Vineyard Bonus Crops & How to Unlock
- FarmVille Sangioveses crop – unlock with Voting: all 6 RIGHT side

What do you think about having to unlock these crops by voting? Fair or annoying?

i don’t get it. Where are the new crops? They are not in the market and also there are only 4 votes allow for each side how do I get to 6 votes for each?

I’m not going to try to get these crops at all through voting, because it is going to be difficult. Hopefully, they will give permits which would be an easier way to go.

Annoying! and Confusing. Agree with Charlie…only 4 votes per side. How do you get 6?
Posted on July 11th, 2012 at 9:26 am
You will unlock the crops after all the voting has taken place. There will be 6 different things to vote on. To get each crop you have to go through the whole thing all over again just having your friends vote in a different way. This is just like the perfect pet thing they did a while ago except instead of unlocking avatar costumes you unlock different crops.

@ Farmville Goddess
Both Cabernet Sangioveses & Moscatos are marked as needing
1 right and 5 left votes.
Posted on July 11th, 2012 at 1:26 pm
@Charlie: you’ll need four votes per stage (Gnomes, Ducks, etc.). There are six stages. The Left/Right combinations refer to what you need to ask your Neighbors to vote for in each of the six stages, not each individual item. For example, if you want to unlock the Pinot Noirs, you’d ask your Neighbors to vote for the Right side on the first three stages and the Left side on the last three. Successful voting will unlock the crop, which then should show up in your Market.
I sincerely hope Zynga will leave this one up for a while. With the time clock they’ve put on unlocking the next stage, we’re gonna have to scramble to unlock all six crops. Thanks, Zynga…:(

Thanks Karen! That was an error on my part. The post has been updated with the correct information.

I don’t mind this, but I would like to know a way to get a certain vineyard. Nothing worked for me to get the dog pen — I ended up with cats, no matter how many times I worked at it. The dog pen showed up and next time I opened the farm it would be cats.

Do we know what the cost of the crops are and how long it takes to grow them once we unlock them? Are they all the same or different?
Posted on July 12th, 2012 at 11:34 pm
I have gone through the first 3 stages in this and had the voting go the way marked here each time, yet I ahve yet to see any new crops appear. Glitch, or am i missing something?

Eric. You need to do all 6 stages before any of the crops appear.
Once you have done all 6 stages once then that crop is unlocked and the other 6 appear in the market at a cost of 7 farmcash each.
At this point you can either repeat the stages to unlock the other crops or obviously buy them for farmcash.

I unlocked one of the 7 crops, and they are so nice to give me the crop for Farm Cash, it’s 7 FC for the Cabernet Sauvignon…
What a RIP off ZYNGA

Sorry the person is correct, I see if to coins now, and the rest if for FC.

I’m confused again. the vineyard has 7 levels not 6. So if I want to unlock Pinot Noirs. How am i suppose to go about it?
Posted on July 14th, 2012 at 11:38 am
@charlie- they mean all 6 questions, 4 votes each. 1 question right, 5 questions left -4 votes on each and so on. I thought the same as you, then someone explained it to me!

Thanks so much! This is definitely a pain in the butt to unlock all of them but far, far easier than trying to figure it out on my own!

Well, I’ve worked my way through twice now and now I’m wondering how long the Big Z will leave this up. I can understand putting the long cool-down periods between askings on the initial run-through, but once we’ve been through it, I should think that we should be able to zoom through after that. It is difficult enough getting Neighbors to vote with the six hours between postings without having to wait for the next stage to unlock in 3 hours and 47 minutes or whatever…:/

Ok ..so now that we have unlocked these crops and planted them would Zynga be doing something so we can make use of the bushels for crafting later on? Seems to me a waste of time to plant them with nothing else but to collect coins , XPs and mastery points. No wait ..how about just having those bushels converted to wine that can be sold/exchanged for fuel,

I sure hope this works
Posted on July 26th, 2012 at 1:04 pm
Trying to get them by voting is extremely difficult. With the time restrictions on being able to ask for votes, plus restricting when some of the items are up for vote (like having to wait 12 hours after you’ve accepted an item) makes it even more impossible. If this didn’t have an ending time, expiration date, then I’d be okay with it. But this building is going to expire and then you can’t get these crops, which is really unfair. You can’t control what your friends do! I hope after the building expires they leave some way to get these crops, and not only by fv cash!

Since the question is “fair or annoying”, I say it’s annoying. It took a very long time for me to unlock one, much less any more than that. Most of my friends don’t check the bonus feed a lot during the week, and for some reason, none of them are clicking on my “vote” request. Maybe… just maybe… if the FV developers added an incentive for your friends to “vote” on these things, they might be clicked a bit more often. At any rate, I have one of the crops unlocked, and considering my financially challenged life right now, it will be the only one. Thanks, FV, for another opportunity to feel like a loser.

I hate the voting. I farm at different times than (apparently) everyone else. I haven’t been able to get any of the things requiring voting.
Posted on August 7th, 2012 at 9:42 am
I dont have many neighbors that do the vote thing… i will not be able to complete all 7 before time ends… i think this sucks!

I need to hurry 5 days left I only got the Moscato crop
Posted on August 12th, 2012 at 5:04 am
not really fun. you must keep track on all combinations. but the hardest is to get the votes right, or even to get enough votes at all. in my previous voting projects i often got only 1 vote on each request, so it took days to get one step done. and you need lots of (correct) votes to go through the whole list. on top there are players who vote whatever they like, opposite of the wish, as “they hate to be told by others what to do in the game”!!!! luckily my friends don’t do that any more, now that they know how this works.
but when players answer to requests on the feed inside game page (not FB page) they can’t even see the persons’ own messages, and thus vote wrongly.
also i guess, many players respond only to requests where they get something in return (in this you get nothing for helping). that is understandable as everybody has so much to work on already, and the feed is so full of stuff you have no time to see them (page space is limited) and even less the chance to act on. there are thousands of game posts every day!!!
conclusion: the result can be most unfair (getting the same crop several times caused by 1 wrong vote), and that makes it annoying. and the more items and projects zynga pushes out, the worse the whole game gets. not to mention all technical problems. they are destroying it from inside, it is close to implosion already.

is there any info of what the time limit is???

I agree with Elisa. This is not what I call fun! I have still have 2 grape crops to unlock. Trying to get the votes is like pulling teeth. I beg and I plead. Time is running out and I’m stuck! Even if I were to get the votes, I still have to wait 2 to 17 hours to post again for some unless I spend farm cash and if I’m going to spend farm cash to post early, I might as well spend the 7 dollars farm cash to buy the grape crop. This whole experience has put me in a foul mood. Zynga must either want us to quit or spend our entire paycheck on Farmville. I’m on the verge of quitting Farmville.
The voters do get one thing though, a special delivery box…. and who cares about that? Most of my gift box is filled with special delivery boxes.
