A new ribbon, The Cracked Ribbon debuted tonight in FarmVille.
The Cracked Ribbon rewards you for opening Mystery Eggs. Please note, Mystery Eggs are the ones found via fertilizing Chicken Coops or adopting via FaceBook newsfeed from a FarmVille neighbor.
Cracked Ribbon Requirements:
- Yellow Ribbon: Open 5 Mystery Eggs.
- White Ribbon: Open 25 Mystery Eggs.
- Red Ribbon: Open 75 Mystery Eggs.
- Blue Ribbon: Open 150 Mystery Eggs.

I’ve probably opened at least 150 eggs in the past couple of weeks. NOW they come up with a ribbon for it! Rats.

Doesn’t sound very hard at all, if I’m understanding correctly, just open the eggs you collect from coops or fertizlizing, nothing we haven’t been doing all along.

I don’t like it because there are people storing these up on their farms for months. It is either retroactive to what we already have opened or it only counts for what you get form the first day of the ribbon. When are the dogs going to work?

I agree with above, I’ve opened hundreds of ‘em, but in the past week zynga has been pretty stingy with them.
I use to find a lot.

I still have some pink mystery eggs from Easter (32 of them) and opened one of them and it did not count. It’s a Mystery…

The haybales werent retroactive. I had purchased heaps of hay bales months ago then sold them. They didnt include those ones. The haybale ribbon just counted what was already on your farm.
How can Farmville be expected to count what it had not previously been storing data on?

I’ve been at level 70 since Jan …. adding new ribbons since then – Fenced In, Baled Out, and now this Cracked Chicken Egg Sh….Pffftttt!!!!!! Anyone above a level 40 should be awarded the Blue Ribbon and rewards by default.
For newer players – it may be fun, but for me – just like having more paperwork.
When do I get a Ribbon for the hundreds of Silos and Cottages I’ve found opening the eggs?

Once again Zynga and Farmville ‘screw the pooch’ and by ‘pooch’ i mean the regular users.
Do they implement this when they introduce eggs? No.
Do they check to see how many you have already opened and give you credit for it? No.

I am not too happy with the timing of this, but they didn’t waste ANYONES time….you chose to play and you chose to WASTE the TIME….we all did!!!!! But, on that note, I really wish I could have my 300+ eggs back!!!!!!

Personally, I think this would be a LOT more fun if the people who have the snag bars and bots or whatever they are stopped snagging all my neighbors stuff all the time….it’s really made the game un-fun for me, it seems to have gotten pervasive

@ pafarmairl .. iI do not use any legal nor illegal snag bots… I snag them myself. As well as all of my neighbors. We all vye for eachothers posts. Its funny, I have literally been told that all of X Item from wall post has been given away after 42 seconds lol. Gotta be quick

So many farmers have at least 5 Dairy Barns on their farms…….. and nothing to say of the Nursery Barns…

Not true…. the bigger the farm is the more farmers need new chicken coops….
Taking in account the reached level and the size of the farm… a farm with 26×26 need a least a second 2 chicken coop or a higher expansion until 80 or 100 ….
So Zynga, think of it …..
