Currently experiencing extremely long loading times with the crafting bakery, when it eventually loads it freezes up my internet page! Contacted Zynga and they advised me of the obvious troubleshooting solutions however the problem still persists.

There is however one minor setback: You need to ensure that your neighbors do not follow the same strategy as you do, or else you will not get the bushels you are missing. Personally as I do not have lots of farmville neighbors (34 of which only 10 play still), about 6 of them have crafting cottages and we have noticed that it is getting increasingly hard to earn bushels of crops you have not mastered yet: Harvesting 300 plots yields about 4 bushels; 8 or 9 if you have the crop mastered.
The solution we found out is that each one of us will tell which crop which they have not yet mastered they need and he will plant one half of its farm with it. Once his stall is open, every neighbor collects three bushels and puts them on the feed blocked to the person who needed them. That way, instead of receiving only 2 bushels for a full field, you get 3 bushels from each neighbor. We are 6 in the group and I already have over 37 bushels of white grapes after only three harvests.

Question I noticed yesterday that when I purchased a pie,wine, spa good from a neighbor it deducted a bag from me. Does it not defeat the purpose to help a neighbor and have a bag deducted from you so you can only purchase one or two bushels vs three. They should have bags for purchased goods pies, wine etc and bags for bushels

While this method may minimize sourcing bushels from neighbors, it omits any attention to crop masteries and co-ops.
I have observed a slow-down in loading as the result of the triple feed on farmville.com. To speed things up, ask your neighbors to uncheck My Activity and do the same yourself. Once all your neighbors have unchecked (which may take a while), the Neighbor Activity and My Activity will empty, leaving only the Facebook feed.

Most of my neighbors go on here, and if they see that they can source the high hour crops from other neighbors, then no one will get for e.g Watermelon. Plus he accent was just annoying me.

OK i am about FED RIGHT UP with these STUPID BEES. I sat onmy farm just now for over an hour while I waited for my stupid beehive to turn from 99% ready to 100% ready. Soon as it turned 100% ready i harvested the damn thing. sure enough i got the message ” because you haven’t tended your hive in 1 day 1 of you rbees have flown away”. LIKE WTF?????????????????????????????????????????
these things are SO useless and if i have to keep adding bees EVERY SINGLE DAY (and yes o say every day because the EXACT SAME THING just happened yesterday to me and the day before) then what is the point to having this? so what then…the very second it goes from 99 to 100% we better be clicking harvest? or would that matter anyhow? for me it was a matter of less than 5 minutes and i still lost a bee. When we first built these things I remember a message saying we needed to tend them EVERY OTHER DAY…here it is i have been tending EVERY day within minutes of it going 100% and STILL losing bees. I can tell you where they can shove this stupid beehive.

How do you get tech support with fv to answer you? I’ve written and written them saying I wasn’t offered a cottage and no response at all. I can afford to buy one but right now it’s the principal of the thing.

I hope FARMVILLE will have the RIVERS in their farm where we can buy portion by portion of rivers, and go fishing to in the farm or just plain river for irrigation.

Hey Jan, All you do to reach zynga is go to your farm.. and then click the “Love Farmville?” tab ..and from there you go to a page, and at the bottom you’ll see a link for support. On the next page you may even see a live chat option. It has worked for me both of those ways. Good luck!
Hey Emmeline if you are out there, my Shiba Inu puppies are about to grow up, I skipped the second day of feeding like you suggested, but the hunger balloon is still above my doggies and I’ve been feeding them. I thought you said you get the dog, feed it the first time, then skip a day and it resets the counter.
They are on day 13 so I was thinking perhaps I could skip today? What do you think? Please respond fast.. I don’t want them to grow up! Although I have one adult and she is very cute.

Deb – the bee thing is a known issue. Just have some of your neighbors send you some as gifts, keep them in your gift box, and add one right away.
It’s my thought that they are working out some sort of bug with giving us the “fertilize all” bags too often – the obvious way around giving people the fertilize all gift is to not allow is to have overflowing bee hives everyday – by stealing one of our bees each day, whether we followed the requirements or not.

myname – you seem to be missing the point of what i wrote. why should my neighbours have to send me BEES as gifts instead of something else like trees just because someone doesn’t want to give us a “fertilize all”??? like i said above. I can tell them exactly where to SHOVE their beehive.

The concept is fine. What happens in reality if you don’t have alot of neighbors is you can’t source bushels if they don’t exist so you have to plant them yourself. So basically, this video was a waste of time.

i only have one playing neighbor so this video doesnt really work for me and i diddnt like the bee hive to start with and i havent started building it yet maibly cos i havent finished my nursery barn

@ deb the same thing happened to me with the beehive.it said i lost 1 bee because i hadnt tended the behive for 1 day, as i recall this happened if the beehive was not harvested for more than 2 days.the funny part is, i look at my bee count inside the hive it says 200 which is the max you can have in there! 2 major problems with the crafting cottages is that your limited on how many people you can buy goods from and you are limited on how many bushels you can take from your neighbors stall.zynga does this on pupose though to force you to buy bushels with FV cash.smh

first of all thanks for the video! The sound is very low and it was quite difficult to hear what u say but congrats!
Secondly, to all of u who r complaining, if u don’t like the game, don’t play it!
I think that the biggest cheater of all is Zynga itself, who, under the cover of a Beta game, keeps stealing from us presents, plots, and mostly precious time, but…… it seems we enjoy to suffer and keep accepting the aggravation it causes us!
No other company charges their customers for Beta trials, quite the opposite in fact, so if we are stupid and accept their terms we are the ones to blame, not them!
Good luck to u all, and remember it’s only a game, and really, not a very clever or sophisticated one! Enjoy your neighbors, they are the real prizes we get from the game!

hmm, if you are going to have NO breaks from it, you have to make goods 4 times a day and you can only sleep for 6hours, hehee.
what i do is have 2 extra farms at level 15. then harvest different bushels on all 3. buy as many bushels as possible from all accounts on each account (you can also share some extra when you use up your bags). and then share everything i have bought 1 by 1 and pick them up on my regular farm
it might be much work, but if you dont have many neighbors to buy bushels from, it helps allot. regular neighbors often dont have the correct bushel for sale to, and leveling up will take forever

number 14- your idea is soo awsome, i love it, rivers and fishing sounds great!!! a lot better then these useless stupid bees.
another thing on my mind is, the crafting cottages have a buy limit of 50 bushels a day, means i cant buy more than 50 ingredients, so my spa is 4 stars, 5 tables, use all day all tables, sometimes it isnt enough and i dont have all bushels to use all tables. now i bought the winery, becasue i love these cottages and selling items, brings lots of fun in the game, so now the cottages count together, means my buy limit is not 100 like it should be cuz i have 2, no, its still 50, means, HOW IN THE WORLD AM I SUPPOSED TO GET ENOUGH BUSHELS FOR EVERY FREAKING TABLE, NOT NICE ZYNGA THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU CREATE NEW THINGS FOR US!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

#14 – I can’t wait until they introduce your river concept.
But can I add to it further.
Like many I have a number of limited item Animals and will attempt to make a Zoo at some stage, how about letting us change the ground square by square.
For instance a Polar Bear cub, looks retarded sitting on Grass or Desert land, but if I change to the snow cover, my other Bear cubs look out of place.
The other thing that I really really would like is roads/paths.

I think its great that you did a video, but unfortunately your accent threw me off watching past 20 seconds.
Has anyone noticed that Zynga appear to be releasing more things which deter you from doing things that may end your playing days.
i.e.
Craft Building’s have delayed people from focusing on Mastering everything.
More ribbons are added and Mystery Gift one doesn’t work with knew Balloon popping thing.

NERD!!!!! Anyone who needs to have a strategy and a google doc spreadsheet to keep their crafting cottage running is “overthinking things.” (in quotes because it really means “you’re a moron.”) As long as you have at least one or two neighbors that plant something useful then no thought whatsoever needs to go into this. Collect bushels, make crap, sell it. Easy. My winery has been going nonstop and I’ve spent more time writing this post than I have thinking about it. LMAO at this waste of time video and LMAO at the “one paht peppah out of seven pahts” annoying narrator.

my only strategy is i have 8 more fv accounts…i made them my neighbors and they buy what i make…. i seed 8 different things everyday and get whatever bushels i need from them…. otherwise it is sooo difficult to find a neigbor to buy and seed all the things you ask for…. try this and you will be happy….

Can anyone help understand this crafting building?
Example how do you level up your building I can level up my recipies fine with all of them on level 5 or above but for some reason I can not upgrade the building to a 2 star I have the cash and recipies at level 4 what else do I need, and by the way cash option is not a good one…………..

#1 If I am not mistaken ‘Wilfried’ is a name usually given to females. #2 To those wanting rivers, roads & paths, Farmtown has those #3 Winifrieds accent is in my opinion, ‘pretty’. I have, in my line of work, heard some ‘doozies’, right here in USA from others American citizens, born & raised! ie, New England (how fah diya go inya cah?) Alabama, where I live (how fard jaw go in yee car?) Like another poster said, she should be commended for learning English. So many here in USA know only a few words (Wal-Mart, and how much) #4 Yes, this is a game, to be enjoyed at your leisure and convenience. Once you start having to have notes, spreadsheets, and setting an alarm clock to keep up with all thats going on, you are no longer ‘playing’. Of course, if you are so competitive, and so driven to have to do all these things, then have at it. I can just find so much more to do with what little bit of energy I have. I started playinf in December, am a level 51, have had almost 15,000,000 coins, have all of my blue ribbons except They of Mystery (need 9) and several of the co-op ribbons (don’t really want a farm full of buses & cafe statues. If they would add new co-ops, I’d do more), have 167 neighbors-and I have never taken a note or set a clock.

MaggieK – you can trade in goods (ones you’ve created, gotten off the feed or bought) for fuel. So, Zynga’s listening, and giving us a way to get fuel for coins.
Tor – The cottage is a fully built building at 5 stars, not sure how high the number level goes on crafted goods. I’ve only seen 10 or maybe 11.
Klippan – your 3 farms/accounts strategy is against both Farmville/Zynga rules and Facebook rules. You can have all three accounts closed and banned if either entity finds out.

a level 25 crafting goods is equivalent to 1 Large Can of Fuel. maybe if reach in level 50 it could be equivalent to 2 LCF.

Here’s my complaint about the crafting buildings – they are VERY expensive to upgrade!
1 star to 2 stars = 50,000 coins – fair enough
2 stars to 3 stars = 100,000 coins – still reasonable
3 stars to 4 stars = 400,000 coins – are you kidding me?
4 stars to 5 stars = don’t know yet, but my guess is 1,000,000 coins
This is insane! You don’t even get any XP for spending this kind of coinage! And if you are super lazy, you can spend FV $… I don’t even want to know how much that would total!
And what is the reward for throwing away all these coins? A building? Big deal!!! Most of my neighbors are too stupid or cheap to buy anyone else’s goods. So this whole thing is a collosal waste of my hard-earned coins!!!

Is anyone else having problems loading the cottage window? I can load the market stall and do everything in that window just fine, but when I click on the MAKE button to switch over to my bakery, the window shifts over so that half of the screen is cut off. Also, I keep making and selling all my stuff but I seem to be stuck at 1 star.

In answer to Jen (#1) and Jessica (#61) Yes, I am having loads of problems with it – and so are some of my neighbours. It took 8 minutes for me to click to “finish making” and “publish” this morning. When I tried to finish the other table’s goods the computer froze altogether and I ended up having to disconnect. The bushel side of the farmer’s market is working fine, though, it just goes wrong when I click “Make”.
Why do they keep bringing out new ideas before they have the last one working correctly? They haven’t even got the bees sorted out yet.
Talking about new ideas, though, I do fancy Sam’s (#32) idea of roads/paths. My cottage garden would look much better with a path. Don’t know about rivers, though. Mmmm, don’t think I’ve got the room.

Hey guys…. well i am having troubles with my building page too, mine is completely gone… sent two mails to zynga c.s. and the ANSWER as always…. troubleshooting it will take some time and we are working on it…. has anyone found a way to fix this? three other neighbors have the same issue… I have been stuck with this for more than five days….. =(……

@Myname, Its my boyfriends and sisters account (they never use it) so i don’t see the big deal + i dont think fv and fb care that much actually.. its not like i’m saying you should make hundreds of them. you can just make one for your babysister and grandmother or whatever. have seen people making profiles for there dogs too. i think thats so cute, all those animals playing fv

@Jessica..yes, my crafting cottage box has completely disappeared..still have spa on farm but can’t use it now…over a period of days the crating box moved further and further to the left of the screen, for a couple of days I was still able to make and finish goods, but when it got to where I could only see table 2 and 4 on the screen I could not use , could make on table 2 but then send it to table one to “finish” but you can’t finish because you can’t see it !!! for a few more days I had the partial box and the “x” (to close off screen) but no longer get that, so if I try to open it hangs up in the looking for bits thing, have to get out of farm completely and go back into it market box opens after you look at your sales feed so it is a no win situation on that…can use just reg market box but am no longer able to make anything at all…sorry to hear you are having the same problem. From market box I can still buy others goods or use the goods I have bought from some one else just can’t make anything else to sell at the moment, guess sooner or later it will be fixed or I will run out of items made from the spa!!!

Anyone else having trouble levelling up from 3 to 4 star bakery?
I’ve made/sold enough goods to enable the coin button upgrade and it has turned gold but i cannot activate the change.
I’ll try again in a few hours to see if it works then.
Grr….. I wanna make Pizza!!!!!!! lol
(and yes i am aware that i could pay FV$40 but then there would be no point in process of working to upgrade and sell your goods).

After reading this post, I decided to try the crafting. After one week, I’m still asking the same question; “What is the purpose in the crafting cottage?” I don’t need fuel, I get enough fuel through friends and the news feed. I really don’t need to buy someone else’s crafting product unless I want to earn the yellow, white, red, and blue ribbons. For me, it seems like a lot of time consumed for little benefit. Wonder if I can delete it? I would rather grow crops on that space.

The rumour is that we will be able to trade the goods for other stuff eventually such as unique items and/or boosts for existing functions in the game. It’s worth getting the goods levelled up now as you receive one of your own each time the good is levelled up. Plus it gives us al something else to do in the game.

My goods have been slowly selling, but I am not able to buy from neighbors. Every time I tried to buy, once I selected and leave, it gives me a message that there is an error and my money have been refunded.
I have not been able to buy for almost a week now, I reported it to Zynga but no answers yet I wonder if other players have been experiencing the same problem. If your inventory is full can you buy goods?
The error message is not saying anything about this, the error is not identified.

Anyone know of the highest level you can upgrade your crafted goods to?
My Pumpkin Bread has just got to lv. 25 and there is room to level up. I thought that 25 may be the max as this is now good for 1 full fuel refill…… Hmm….
I’ll start work on the Potato-Onion Bread as it cooks quicker (30 mins).

That farm-ville game looks pretty fun I think I will download and play it. I think I will use some channel management techniques to increase my farm to its greatest potential. Channel management is a really useful thing for any business that wants to be very profitable.

I find it annoying that I cannot select what Stall that is open I want to switch with the current harvest. That would be something nice to have the option of.
Also, I am getting more and more frustrated with the small close buttons for the zoom in/out, and the multi tool option. Often enough, while trying to fullscreen my arrow turns to a plow tool…and then I have to share something….grr…then the screen shrinks back down…I publish or skip…depending on how many times I have done this already….and then have to scroll the page down to get the image of the farm back….enlarge again…crazy vicious circle.
And for the Lightening collection….It might be nice that if you finished it…you don’t get the shares anymore. I have few friends and completed it mostly on my own without their help. The “uncommon ruby” is not so uncommon.
Also, an idea…after you master an item…and get your award bill board….it should move off the selection page. It is annoying to have to page through 4 pages to get to the next item you want to farm…and with the lag that occurs more often than not…again annoying and frustrating.
Please consider these ideas….I have “lost” many many friends from farmville because of too much stuff too fast in the past few weeks…and folks, I don’t know where you are…but it is summer here….and well, everyone is outside! Save some stuff for winter when everyone considers…. possibly….. returning.
