FarmVille Debuts In-Game Gifting!
Excitingly tonight the long awaited in-game FarmVille gifting center has finally gone live! The center can be accessed by simply clicking on FarmVille Requests in the upper right hand corner.
FarmVille In Game Gift Acceptance Notice
The in-game gifting center is much quicker than accepting and sending gifts through the Facebook Game area. For example when your neighbors request an item, sending it is now only one click!
After accepting a gift you do have the option to return it in-game through the regular Facebook pop-up window.

You can even access your other Zynga game requests with a simple click!

This doesn’t seem that different from what they’ve already been doing.
But as long as they’re lauding it as an improvement, I will as well.
Let’s just hope they give us a storage option for the season gift baskets!!!

Sending *stuff* to ALL my friends is SPAM. I AM NOW REPORTING EACH & EVERY PAGE REQUEST THAT REQUIRES SENDING TO EVERYONE. My Farmville friends are less than a 1/3, the others do NOT appreciate it, at all. I also have been advising other to do the same. REPORT, REPORT, REPORT – maybe Facebook will get the message.

Flash gifting has been nack in the game for a while, just not enabled for many, but about time they took the message center in game

no wont be using it for any game i always accept my gifts off facebook which is way easy because i dont always have time to go into a game but i can check out to see if i have any help request from friends

Just tried it this way….had five gifts…lost 3 due to “sorry, something whet wrong at this time” errors. *roll*

If they really want to brag about an “improvement,” they should make it possible to accept a gift AND send one back to the sender all in one click without having to leave the window.

What happened to their promise not to do too many ‘upgrades’ which downgrade game play at one time??
And when were on the topic of downgrade, People dont like popups. So quit popping up with 5 or more seeds to post, 5 limited time collection to share, and all the other useless crap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’ve had this enabled for weeks. It’s had a tendency to give me double gifts (when stuff I’ve accepted through the in-game interface is still available in the separate FB gift page).
I guess those days will be over. :’(

I agree with Pamela (one click to accept and send thank you gift) and Yohan (the popups drive me crazy and add time that I really don’t have).
I don’t see any difference in the speed with which I accept gifts. This takes a long time, and I would really like to see it more like the gifting in Yoville. You only have to click to accept and a window opens with the option to return a thank you gift or not, and to return to accept more gifts or enter the game. That’s only two clicks instead of the three that take so long. And the gifting for Yoville takes half the time of Farmville.

I think I like it how it is now, I can keep track of all my game gifts and send a thank you gift back to every person.

Thank you Zynga for this commendable update. The game play of Mafia wars is so good because of this update. I’m sure farmville players would love this too.

isn’t this a month or two old? I’ve been using it for what seems like forever? but does it now delete from FB gifts? or do i still have to clean-up my fb page by ignoring 100 or so gifts i’ve already accepted

Ye it doesnt even come up for me, when im clicking on “requests” its standing you have 6 gifts blabla.. “click here to accept a.so.” But its 0 gifts in the giftbox so, what’s the matter with my farmville, am i completly retard cuz im writing this.. njaaaaaaa maybe not. I just want it to work guys

I dont get this option when I click on the top right corner- Infact it takes me back to the homepage where I get the ” accept and play” option for each gift!
