@Arasa you only get 3x when you use a bushel.That would be cool if they gave us 4x.

If I plant something now and harvest it on Saturday will I get double Mastery? Or does it have to be planted on Saturday when it starts?

I’m all done with all of the crops currently so when are they coming out with more new ones, anyone know? I’m a level 106 and have just over 2,000,000 xp points right now, it sure would be nice if they came out with a few more new ones before they start this and not the day after…..

What does farmville mean by double mastery?
Can you re-master a crop which you have already mastered?

You get double points towards your masteries. Triple if you use bushels. Means that you’ll be able to master the same crop 2 or even 3 times faster than you would without double mastery points.

You will still get double mastery for them but not triple, alas Z hasn’t given us bushels on LEs. And depending on how many plots you have, you can get this done in around 24 to 25 hours (including plant/plow/harvest)

Heck yah, I’ll be participating! I have half my field planted with watermelon and yellow melon, but I’ll probably just delete them and start over. I’ve got a lot of crops with one or two stars, but that third always seems so far away that I get bored. Now, with the double mastery points plus a bushel, I just might finish some of them up.

Ah, this sucks, I won’t be home, lol. I have been suffering the carnival squash for a couple of weeks, maybe I can still catch a little of the double mastery on monday. Please, no more new crops yet, lol.

Which time is valid for this promotion? I live in europe and my saturday starts in 5 houres… so if I plant a 6h crop will I already get the double mastery or not….??

This is great – the last double mastery allowed me to get some of the 4 hour ones done. I have 17 crops left to master – all 12 hours or less. I am luckily sticking close to home and will definately take care of hte 6000 ghost chili and 5000 clovers this weekend. I am able to get FV cash – but rarely use it towards the instant grow feature because it costs a bit too high for the amount of plots I have, but the 4 hour crops end up about 5-8 FV cash at a time. It is a bummer that I spent about 3 hours on designing an entire wild west farm – to find out that the mastery bonus was coming. I just stored everything on my farm that can be stored (all 500 items) and moved everything to add the plots to finally master these items under 12 hours. I don’t have the ability to farm during theday on week days so I run a chance of planting something at 6pm then not being able to harvest until midnight the next day – withering my crops ;-(
I surely wished that the bushels would add 2, but if the follow the Memorial Day bonus it is just a max of 3. It would be cool if the co-op jobs were based on mastery points too rather than just the plot counts. For those looking at the Pinto – not sure what the 3 star count is – but you may want to get those 6000-9000 masteries out of the way.
I think this will allow for 1300 mastery points per harvest.

Ever since I have updated my iphone because you have an update I have not been able to use Farmville on my iphone it looks like it downloads the game and then it disappears I can’t collect the collectibles off facebook either and I can’t even harvest with the tractor or anything can you please explain to be me why this is happening..

I got on my ipod touch once to buy stuff – then have not gotten back since it’s release. The game is problematic with a full computer system – between the issues with the new iphone and the servers for the game you will have much better luck limiting your farming to the computer and the phone to get the bonus apple only items and trying to just save crops from withering.
Even with every new update from apple and the service packs for the itocuh – nothing has allowed it to load; at least for me.

i’m now doing Pinto Beans at 6am, 4th Sept 2010 and it’s a Saturday morning. i don’t see any double mastery i am getting. it’s only 1 mastery !

Ok, so one answered the question, do you have to plant the item during the 3 days in order to get double mastery?? Or does something I have planted already but harvested during the 3 days not get counted towards the double mastery?? I hate having to lose that time on a 4 day crop!! Would love to get that crop mastery in one shot!!!

Well, I harvested my crop 10 minutes after the 11:59 PM EST time as stated in FV’s message and I got the exact same mastery points as I always have. What a crock of shyt!!

When exactly starts and ends this thing?!?! 3rd was Friday and Monday is on 6th. Did they mean it starts at 00:00 PST on Saturday 4th and it ends at 23:59 PST on Sunday 5th?!

I planted my carrots ahead of time and I harvested at 4:30 am pst saturday morning coz it is hard to get up at 2 am to harvest them on time. The thing says it is from SATURDAY to MONDAY. I ended up having a triple xp when I harvested each carrot plot that includes a carrot bushel. So for those people who thinks it is a waste cheer up coz it is really doubled.. meaning doubled the xp without using a bushel… triple if u use a bushel.

I had two fields of watermelons that came mature right before midnight and I harvested them after 1 AM for the bonus. Worked great! I finished my mastery of blackberries and now I am working on Raspberries… up next, Blueberries… it’s going to be a berry busy weekend!

I planted Red Wheat on Wednesday and harvested it on Saturday in the afternoon and got the double mastery points with no problem at all. Guess it just takes a few hours to get the full effect, but therefore it will probably last a few hours longer than Monday 23:59. it was just like that during the last double mastery time

i play farmville daily i mean every day i started planting early sat. morning to get my double xp’s and i have harvested 3 crops so far and i have gotten nothing but the regular xp’s i am so mad i am ready to stop playing.

I have been planted Pinto beans earlier and get 2 points for each, then I’ve planted Pink roses on 648 plots x3 point = 1404 and their total mastery is 1378 points, they will bi ready hours before the end of Double Mastery Weekend
