FarmVille Ducks and Ugly Ducklings Missing Feet? Or Sitting down?

FarmVille Freak FarmVilleTips Ducks with no feet
Since I put the new Spring Pond on my farm, all my ducks and ugly ducklings have no feet. It no appears that they are sitting down (maybe laying eggs?). This problem is very similar to the hockey ducks and elefants.

FarmVille Freak FarmKaizer's Ducks with no feet
Hi,
I just entered my farm and all my ducks were missing their feet. Not the ducks rotated to be seen from behind but all the ducks seen from front missed the feet. Here’s a pic… I wonder if I’m the only one whos ducks lost their feet? It looks weird, like they’re swimming in the grass.

This has been like that for a while. They sit down when facing that way but if you rotate them they will stand the other directions until you get back to that position.

just put a spring pond on my farm and now they are all sitting too!

This happened to my elephnats and ducks when i put the hockey rink out, they wore hockey uniforms. Se this isn’t the first time something like thos has happened.
Posted on March 13th, 2010 at 2:29 pm
Happened to me too…tried putting the pond in storage and all are still sitting…oh well!
Posted on March 13th, 2010 at 2:35 pm
i like the way the feet stick out the front, maybe this could be the start of a lake feature, where u put the duck on the water
Posted on March 13th, 2010 at 2:36 pm
maybe some time farmville are going to let us put them inside a lake or river of some sort
Posted on March 13th, 2010 at 2:36 pm
When I got the duck pond, my other ducks did the same thing also

As the big duck in the spring pond looks like a regular duck and the small ones as the ugly duckling I fear that this is only a glitch because of that new animation that was needed to create the pond. On the other hand I’d be happy if the ducks would not only walk around but were able to really sit down and get up again.

That is so weird! Mine don’t have their feet sticking out, though. You can’t see their feet at all. Does anyone know how to get a farmville filter? I used to have one, but it has stopped working.
Posted on March 13th, 2010 at 2:48 pm
The problem is definitely due to the placement of the Spring Pond. I tested the theory out by placing the Spring Pond in storage and refreshed my farm; after that, all of the ducks had feet again — when I took the Spring Pond back out and refreshed once more, the ducks returned to sitting down.

I think this is cool! They look like they are going to make eggs
:D:);-)

It must have something to do with the new duck pond because it’s happening to me too, but only with the traditional ducks and only in two positions. The new green St. Pat’s day duck is (so far) unaffected.

Rotate the ducks and ducklings. in 2 out of 4 positions they are standing the other 2 show them sitting.

If the ducks are facing away from you they have their feet, same with the Ugly Ducklings, but if they’re facing toward you (where you can see their face) they have no feet. Although, my Green Mallard has his feet. No wonder my animals aren’t walking around, they have no feet. That does make it hard to walk. I hope they get this fixed soon. I want my animals to walk around again.

One of my ugly Ducklings has lost its Transform option.. So now i have a Permanent Ugly duck with no pink icon above its head…
Must of been a glich but would be better if they just included the option to choose.

Oh no! Mine too! And my animals not walk too! I hate it! They look stupid!
Posted on March 14th, 2010 at 6:26 am
It’s simple, Zynga just used the same sprite or movie clip for the ducks/ducklings on the pond as the regular one and without thinking it through made the feet invisible!
Simple enough mistake to happen.
Thats why the feet only disappear when the duck is facing a certain way!

Posted on March 14th, 2010 at 12:07 pm
hi guys
what is this green mallard ppl keep mentioning. I don’t have one and where can I get it. I haven’t seen it in market or gift page….help
Posted on March 14th, 2010 at 12:17 pm
I was wondering why my ugly ducklings pink thing above his head can be seen now. I have it hidden under one of those ugly Gulmohar trees. I do this so I can keep him an ugly duckling. a few days ago I noticed I can see the pink thing now. Its not hidden by the tree. ITS BECAUSE my duck shrunk! He has no feet. None of my ducks have feet. to funny. Didnt notice until you said something.

Maybe they are sitting getting ready to lay Easter Eggs!!! so we can collect Easter Eggs.
It would be cool to find hidden eggs all over farmville. Like a big Easter Egg hunt. But not like the collectibles. More like a wheres waldo type thing. Like they will be hidden on your farm and your friends, and you will have to look for them. and then click if you see one, and it automatically gets claimed by you

The green mallard is in the new green mystery box.
Posted on March 14th, 2010 at 4:46 pm
how do you get a spring pond?
Posted on March 14th, 2010 at 5:12 pm
@ Jerrika: The Spring Pond is a redeeemable Pot of Gold exclusive prize. Everyone received a free Pot of Gold in honor of St. Patrick’s Day. After collecting gold from your neighbors you will have the opportunity to trade in pieces of gold to redeem for the Spring Pond.

Strange, i did what a few people said to do, and i put the Spring Pond in storage and all of my duck’s feet came back. This is probably just some sort of glitch, because like one person said, the ducks swimming in the pond look like the ducks and ugly ducklings. I’m sure this will soon be fixed, and if not, oh well.
Posted on March 15th, 2010 at 7:35 am
Some of my ducks are standing, others are relaxing in the grass without feet.
My mothers had ducks before irl, and they looked like that when they were relaxed.

My ducks have their feet back today…or should I say…..are standing up again!
Posted on March 18th, 2010 at 2:17 am
This seems new to the ducks, but it has always been true of the Swans.
If you rotate the swans they will sit down and further rotation will have them standing again.
This feature is good as you can have them sitting around the edge of a pond in a very natural way.
Haven’t got a spring pond yet, but my ducks are also sitting and standing when rotated so don’t think it can be the pond.

My ducks have all their feet back but they are still sitting with the feet poking out the front and the feet move too. The only problem is the left foot moves fine. The right foot stays in place but the leg moves so it looks like the leg is broken off from the foot. Very weird.
