      Next week perhaps?

    2. Vicky Says:

that’s going to suck i don’t have a cell phone.. can’t finsh some of my tree masteries because of this.

    3. Lynn Says:

ALLL these masteries are gonna have to wait for me. My main farm is more important than this one. Can’t believe that we have to have one of them on pause!

    4. nikki Says:

their in my iphone app locked

    5. Gurk Says:

Let alone a lot of people don’t have an iPhone, usually the Farmville stuff does’n't work properly on iPhone.

    6. Gurk Says:

or… could it be in the market for everybody later, and is this just an early pop pop up in the iPhones???

    7. Pat Says:

Actually, I just looked at my I-Pod and it is showing things “locked” for England in all categories but trees.

    8. Patricia Says:

I have an iphone but it’s a PITA to do farming on it and after you’ve given everyone white apple trees (those you can give to anyway), there aren’t new gifts.

    9. Cherrie Says:

Again, another disappointment with the IPhone thing. This is sure getting old. Haven’t heard one positive thing from IPhone users yet! Personally I wouldn’t know since I don’t have one. This is so unfair to the loyal daily players who have been playing so& long & have been waiting for FVEC. ONE VERY DISAPPOINTED PLAYER HERE!!!

    10. Callum Says:

      Tonight perhaps ??

    11. Mysti Says:

So what does this mean, If you’re not an Apple Fanboy/girl you have no access to these new plants. thats sort of craptacular. I was miffed when i had to pause one farm to play another, But i can get over that, but I NOW have to have an iPAD just to see the new game stuff and possibly thats the only way to get it? Pheh, If thats the case, You’re going to lose a lot of players zynga, some of us use Android and Blackberry. Where are OUR apps?

    12. Roche Says:

we call the Broad beans here in England, not field beans

    13. Cindy Huxley Says:

Roche@12 – Exactly – never heard of ‘field beans’ – those are Broad Beahns, and what exactly is the difference between English Peas and peas? We already have peas. They want us to master them twice?

I am also curious about Spring Squill – don’t think I’ve come across any of that in my experience of the English countryside.

Mind we don’t have Pub Landladies looking like escapees from a production of Carmen either.

I have a feeling that non UK residents will find FVEC cute, and might even think it’s like that here. Those of us who actually live here know we don’t live in a Disney theme park, and are quite likely to become very irritated with the cuteness.

    14. Vladimr Says:

The picture for the turnip is faaaaaar from the truth. The turnip is not a root, like tha radish or the carrot. the turnip is a bulb in the trunk of the plant :) FAIL

    15. Cindy Huxley Says:

Vladimr@14 – Sorry you are wrong there. The turnip is one of the things they have got right. It is a root veg, and while the big ones used for animal feed are yellowish green there are smaller ones and some of those are purple and cream. I used some only yesterday :)

‘The turnip or white turnip (Brassica rapa var. rapa) is a root vegetable commonly grown in temperate climates worldwide for its white, bulbous taproot. Small, tender varieties are grown for human consumption, while larger varieties are grown as feed for livestock.’ – Wickipedia.

    16. Robin Says:

No We haven’t been able to log in at all since the last update.

    17. Elizabeth Says:

This is asinine. Can we ever get away from corporate greed?
More and more reasons to NOT have the English farm. ;(

    18. goodnred Says:

this is a really bummer… that you “MUST” have an iphone or ipad. not everyone is lucky to have one. farmville should do something else.

    19. Michael Says:

      Two things.

There is no way the new farm is only for Apple users. I think they just loaded some things already getting ready for the whole farm to go live.

Second is a question what is this whole pausing the other farm about. I have no idea what you guys are talking about. I only have one farm and I’m level 80.

My big hope is we can use our tractors etc still as I will not farm in the english countryside if I have to go back to so much clicking!

    20. sandra Says:

I am not buying an I phone to play shame I can’t use my Ipad but never mind. Yes we have Broad beans here!! and Squill is not that British, I had to look it up, had they said Hyacinth it would have been a lot more British :-( same genus just more likely to be seen in the UK
