FarmVille English Countryside Expansion

FarmVille Expansion
We asked for more land and Zynga was happy to oblige with new English Countryside farms and expandable ones at that. Yes, several expansions are available for English Countryside Farms!
Expansions can be purchased with Farm Cash or Farm Coins. Otherwise, the expansion will remain locked. Unique to the English Countryside, you will also need to have your land surveyed to complete your expansion. Read more about surveying your land later in this post.

Expansions purchased with Farm Coins also require that you get your friends to help survey your land. For example, as seen in the image below the 24 x 24 English Estate expansion which costs 750,000 Farm Coins (or 75 Farm Cash) requires that you have 20 surveyors survey your land. If you click the blue unlock button, you will purchase the expansion and be able to view the required surveyors needed to completely unlock.

Everything in ECFV requires that we spam our neighbors…how much fun is that?
Posted on March 22nd, 2011 at 10:12 pm
Yeah, that is why I quit playing Frontierville and Cityville. If the ECFV requires you ask your neighbors for everything to let you advance, forget it, I’ll stop playing.

20??? EFF YOU ZYNGA!!
Posted on March 22nd, 2011 at 11:49 pm
my dear friends, don’t take it seriously.
I think it is better than adding new neighbours.
I’m not always on FV as before apparently on the working day I have only 5-10 mins a day on the farm. Last night I was too tired to do any work there. I missed the final part of the spring collection. lol
I have lots of neighbours, I think they may be some of them interested in my newest farm. ^___________^ And I may visit their farms as well.
In addition if my dear neighbours who are with me since FV start asking me for little helps, I’m very happy to do so.

YAY!! The PAUSE is going to go away soon… As in we can CHOOSE whether to PAUSE our farms or not! [link]http://www.fvnation.com/2011/03/sneak-peek-at-our-english-countryside-coverage-the-anti-pause/[/link]

So we have to beg and plea for farm expanisions in farmville. Yet right off you can get them in english country side. How messed up and unfair is that ????? we are ready for a 30×30 in farmville but will we ever get it ??? If so maybe in a year. They need to realize that their first players were on farmville and give us what we need . If not that along will give us reason not to play their new english countryside. Get a clue zygna !!! Where would you be without your farmville players ??????????

When we solicit the surveys, do we need to keep FVEC active while we wait for friends to send them? Or, will the surveys still reach us if we pause FVEC to go back to our main farm? Does anyone know the answer to this yet? Thanks for any info!

Question:
“you will purchase the expansion and be able to view the ***required surveyors*** needed to completely unlock.”
Does this mean I can ask ANY friend? Or is this one of those idiotic things where FV chooses who I can ask, and every one of the people are inactive players? If I spend 750,000 they better let ME choose who to ask! Has anyone done it yet?
Posted on March 23rd, 2011 at 10:45 am
I have one question, Do my FV coins carry over to the English Country side farm, or do I need to earn new coins on that farm?
Posted on March 23rd, 2011 at 10:46 am
Agree with you, Martha Justice. More seasoned players seem to be punished for sticking with Farmville. Doesn’t seem to be any incentives- NO FV’s for advancement to next levels. Once hit level 90 it has been a downhill slide! And the trees, who can keep up with that. FV get a clue, too much clicking for the “rewards”. LOL. Need 30X30 +++ farms. For those of us who have been around and haven’t quite given up, bigger farms and less farming are desperately needed. No players, NO FV!

I’ll never get anywhere then…I can’t even get my neighbors to help me get to England faster!!

It seems every time I come here and no matter what zynga does, most of the commenters can do nothing but complain complain complain – many of them in bold letters or multiple exclamation marks or veiled swear words. I would understand it if they were forced to play it, but they *aren’t*, so why be so ridiculous?
Guess what? If you are so bothered by farmville, then *stop playing*. Surely you can find some other activity that won’t stress you out nearly so much..can you? Sheesh, it’s just a game. Get over it, and Oh, and stop spending money on it. Getting so upset over a – um – game says a lot more about you than it does about Zynga.
I feel so sorry for whoever at zynga gets the charming job of reading the emails of complaints. ugh.

Cool!!
Posted on March 23rd, 2011 at 11:08 am
I will check it out but the first time I get ticked off at FVEC for many of the issues that might arise, I’ll leave it in a heartbeat and it will remain dormant forever!! I’ll just play FV and if FV has issues because of the cross over I’ll stop playing all Zynga games!!!

LEARN HOW TO READ, STOP COMPLAINING, SOME OF YOU MAKE ME SICK…OMG READ .. I HAVE THE BEST NEIGHBORS, AND THAT IS WHAT YOUR NEIGHBORS ARE FOR TO HELP WITH THE QUESTS..YOU ARE NOT SPAMMING THEM..WHY DO YOU THINK YOU NEED NEIGHBORS..OTHERWISE YOU COULD BE PLAYING SOLITAIRE …SHUT UP ..STOP WHINING..
Posted on March 23rd, 2011 at 11:18 am
Kathy: By that same token, if you don’t like listening to people voice their opinions, don’t read this board. No one needs to “shut up” because you happen to disagree with them, or because you are annoyed by something they say. The all caps, infantile tantrum really isn’t necessary. I see you contributing nothing positive whatsoever to the conversation, so, frankly, you aren’t **any different** than the people you are whining about.

Hmmm… I wonder about the expansion help and whether you can only ask inactive players (as in the past). I think I will look on the forums and see. Will let people know what I find out… what a sneaky way to try to get people to bug their friends who have stopped playing if so! ::crossing fingers:: that I can ask anyone to help with the expansions! Happy farming all!

I only want 30×30 for my FarmVille. I don’t like EC… sheep are nice but I just want to have it on my old FV. I do not want to start from the beginning. just for the sheep and lambs. Everything else is the same. I do not want to pay so much for this game again.

so much intertaining reading. this site has lost it’s purpose I think. It appears to have become a sounding site for every pissed off fv player or future new Zynga game player. Too bad.
Posted on March 24th, 2011 at 10:12 pm
If we didn’t care so much, we wouldn’t complain, we wouldn’t ask questions, we wouldn’t ask for a high-standard game. Reading between the lines on so many posts, it’s clear we are all quite passionate about this game. It’s quite a Love/Hate relationship! I was going to wait on the EC, if I did it at all..but, yep…I got pulled in from my friends. It will be fun to use some of the ideas I’ve had to decorate/arrange a farm, but never wanted to do to mine, cos I’ve been very happy with my farm. The EC won’t be my main focus…I probably won’t spend any FarmCash on that farm…..actually, I’ve cut way back on my FarmCash spending…waaaaaay back. LOL…..times are tough, and, this is a hobby, and, have to constantly remind myself, a hobby that could just as easily disappear as easily as we all found it. (hope not ! and hope that doesn’t happen any time soon!). So yes…it’s nice to have a place to come to where we can share ideas and information, and, vent when we need to. I do agree though that sometimes the venting could be toned down a little. (smile).
My question, too, since I’m still waiting to get there…..I’m figuring that our FarmCash floats between the farms, and I’m wondering if our Coins do as well. Seriously hope so! Haven’t asked my friends yet…but will do that asap!

I have spent 6 days trying to expand my English farm from an 18 x18 to a 20×20 and I have the money and Iv’e follow the steps and it DON’T WORK. But the page that says “ASK FOR HELP” or “REMIND ME LATER” Never appears. It also says to flip the faces on the people and tell excactly what you want. But you touch and you touch and get whatever what they want to do. We have no choice. I called the 1-800 no. But they said they didn’t help on the phone. If this isn’t fixed, I will quit FB AMD FV both.

I’m weary of this constant begging FV neighbors for things….and thoroughly disgusted at the COST of this latest expansion. As far as English Countryside expansions (up to this point) it was the higher level players who could afford to do each expansion as it came up (along with the begging neighbors part….) But ONE HUNDRED FARM CASH just for English Countryside expansion?? Zynga has obviously figured they want $20-$25 from each player. I thought perhaps that would cover expansion for both farms – and possibly could have justified cost if it had. But – no – expansion of man farm is another EIGHTY FARM CASH – or combination of mega coins and ‘new neighbors.’ I’m DONE seeking out new neighbors. DONE. Many of my neighbors are either no longer playing – or playing less – because of all the PROBLEMS in FV…and…the constant ‘begging.’ I recognize that these games are ‘social’ and a component is to help our neighbors but…seriously…look at the number of posts generated when you play – it’s reached a point where most players just won’t go thru all these. THe options for getting help are – posts that require a click (e.g. barn raising, click to send – and receive something in process) OR thru gift box. I’m CERTAIN that not all help requests sent thru gift box show up on other end. I, and multiple friends, have had so many failed barn raisings it’s a joke. (I’ve even resorted to wall posts asking for help, messages including link asking for help…it’s just too much to scroll back thru pages and pages to find….) ZYNGA needs to go back to the drawing board on this expansion – and on what it expects of its players. In closing, for the most part – the neighbors I’ve solicted in the past to meet some requirement – they’ve ended up being inactive, or just terminating connection (with NO comment whatsoever.)
Bottom line – NO I will NOT be expanding either farm. And if this upcoming ‘crafting’ requires more space – then I won’t do that either.

When I first saw the expansions took 100+ FC i definitely said no, and yes, the requirement of spamming people is something I hate, but all in all, what are you doing when you send gifts, when you post about new trees or stuff that you share to your wall and such? That is spam in itself and there’s no reason to complain when you yourself have spammed without realizing it. Most of my neighbors have been more than willing to actually help me with most of the quests, and yes there are a few I’ve had to spam for it, but nothing major. I like the new expansions, but I’m not paying 100 and 140FC for them both…I’ll wait for the possibility that later on they’ll be made into a 2mill and 4mill coins price for both of them.

Yeah so I needed 2 surveyors for 14*14, I got the second one today (from someone who’s not even playing it anymore, I had to annoy the cr*p out of that person). But farmville still tells me I only have 1 surveyor, but I was there when he surveyed it. ‘Great, that’s helps with my quests’.
Posted on January 12th, 2012 at 6:05 pm
It appears they removed the need for surveyors.
