Now that we are proud English Pub owners it’s time to make sure our Pub is a success and Olivia is back to steer us in the right direction. After all, she knows all about owning Pubs (except for how to keep mice away). The FarmVille English Countryside Lagerhead Quest has us actually placing the Pub on our English farms, buying a Pub Cat to protect it from those pesky mice, and finally crafting some brew that happens to be a favorite of our friend The Duke.

What is point? I can’t do these quests, because Farmville won’t give me the English farm. 3 farms over level 100 with all the masteries, and I can’t get one. Bitter doesn’t even begin to describe how I feel. I’ve mothballed the farms, I’m not giving out gifts or bonuses and I’ll be damned if I help anyone expand their new farms. Talk about rubbing salt in the wounds

Thanks so much for posting this!!! Could anyone tell me what “crafting” the Duke’s Stout means? Does it mean that you have to wait 6 hours to get to the end of the quest or is it finished as soon as you make the 2 required? Thanks for your help!

If you have already crafted stout prior to starting this quest does it still count ?

Clever answer. But HOW do we make the stout? What is needed to do it? Do we need more harvests? Bushels? If so, which ones? If we know this, it’s possible to work ahead and finish another quest faster.

Dukes stout is one of the two items you can make from level one of the pub. Just like the Bakery, Winery, and Spa, the pub has five star levels.
OliviaBerry Beer requires 3 Hops Bushels and 5 Red currant Bushels.
Dukes Stout requires 4 each Hops and Barley Bushels.
So, I’d advise users to collect these bushels early from their friends. If you have enough, start two batches early and have them done when you get to this quest. You only get two tables to start with, so don’t click the FINISH button until you’re ready to do this quest. Of course, if you don’t get the extra bushels, you might want to hold off until you actually get to the quest, just in case the quest does not accept you done but not finished stout. You don’t want to get stuck with no bushels.
BTW:
Red Current takes 4 hours to grow
Hops – 10 hours
Barley – 12 hours

i made the health drink 2 times & the game didn’t count them in the quest !!!!!! does anyone have this problem ????

Again…we go from having Stout to a “health drink!” Ridiculous. Can’t we simply agree that we’re of drinking age so we can craft alcoholic beverages in the Pub? Sad…

I keep planting barley and hops, and then harvesting them, yet I am still unable to make the health drink because it shows I don’t have any barley or hops! Do I have to wait for neighbors to have these or request that they send them to me?

that’s probably cause u don’t have enough space in your inventory, so get rid of some bushes and you will have space when u harvest the crops

I’m on this quest but I have no idea how to “brew” another health drink. I already did one? But can’t figure out the 2nd

I am at the building blocks quest on the country side with 5 tables open. I just finished Dukes Stout (now known as Health Drink) 4x and started another 5 which will be harvested in 6 hours. The two I just harvested are not counted toward my goal. I refreshed and still do not see it. I read somewhere that the Duke Stout is now called Health Drink. Does anyone know why it didn’t show up after I harvested it??

duh me… i just figured it out.. I got to harvest them up to Level 15. Simple mistake on my part. I am at level 13 so in about 2 days I hope to have this part of the quest completed.

I don’t understand how I need to make the “DUKE STOUT Reciepie” Help me!!!!
