FarmVille English Countryside Make It Your Own Quest

The English Countryside is now live and FarmVille Freak has you covered! Behold your very first quest in the English Countryside, the “Make It Your Own” Quest.
The Make It Your Own quest celebrates owning your new English Countryside farm by making it all yours. You will need to send and receive some postcards to your friends to let them know of your English arrival and also start farming by plowing some plots on your brand new farm.
Objectives
- 1. Send postcards to your friends and ask them to send one back.
- 2. Collect 6 postcards. (Received postcards can be found inside your Gift Box.)
- 3. Plow 10 Plots of land.
Upon completing this easy peasey quest, of course you will receive some rewards for all your hard work.
Rewards
- 100 XP
- 1,500 Farm Coins
- FarmVille Dorking Chicken

Man! I would almost pay the 10 FVC just to get that chicken. ALMOST. 4 more of my FV Friends just got let into the “Go to FVEC” Quests. SOOOOO Jealous!!!

crap, anyone else seen a candy apple tree on the newsfeed? i clicked it (out of habit) and this popup kept comin up over and over for me to publish the same thing until i x-d out. It says this—******* put in a lot of hard work to get this new tree! They want to celebrate with friends by sharing only 1 of these trees, so you better act fast! via FarmVille. hope i didnt get spammed. damnit. effin spammers should be stoned…and not the good kinda stoned.

OK, so now I don’t have the model farm and now I don’t have the FV English country side. I swear to my monkey’s uncle if they don’t have this all rolled out by tonight I am finished already! I’ve mastered everything, received all my ribbons, and collected all the collections. I’m bored already and would like something to do on FV! This better not be another “slow roll out” junk they are pulling wtih the model farms!

Still don’t have mine either. Most of my 100 neighbors do. What is up with that? I am patiently waiting. I hope they roll out a little faster.

I got the popup and it let me place my airship and everything, and then I get a connection error message and it all disappears. I have the quest and everything, but no longer have the airship! >:(
Of course, I can’t get past the first requirement for the quest because of this, which is to place the airship.

i just grew a golden apple tree from seedling of mine, it was a farmcash tree a week ago. look in your orchard it says golden apple turns into giant golden apple, and that the giant golden apple turns into golden apple.

If the pause is really a choice now or in the future then I’ll play otherwise…..
Quest is easy I have 24 people at the party and I sent the invites 3 hours ago, you spend money for the crate and cow etc but get back more than that when you complete the quest plus 5 farmcash.
I am annoyed about the possible pause but don’t get upset just don’t play it

FarmerPaula@33 – the link is not a virus it is the site of another fan group, and does show an unreleased series of posts which indicate that Zynga are thinking of making the pause optional.
No guarantee they will do it of course. The pause makes playing in EC pretty pointless to me., I am going to set it up – in process now, but that will be it until playing there does not disrupt my current farm.
Can I add that there is no need to make insulting comments about other posters here, it is inappropriate.
Having seen the EC visiting neighbours who have got there, I am not impressed. The farm is simply a new FV – same size as original, with no geographical features, no hills, streams, etc.
The surrounding countryside is odd, it looks like a child’s idea of hills, not at all attractive.
Apart from sheep breeding, which doesn’t particularly interest me, I can see nothing new there. Just different colours and slightly different designs of all the same stuff we have in FV.
I am getting less and less interested. Will still set it up – but play it – I think not particularly not with the pause.

I set up my EC farm and played with it some this afternoon but will not go back as long as that pause is there. I don’t see the point of putting one farm on hold to play another one

I can,t get in to the farmville English Countryside because I canm,t not send requests to my neighbors. For some reason it won,t go through. I there for will not be able to go there.

I skipped the quests to pay $60.00 Farm Cash to go right to my English Countryside farm, then nothing, how do you get there? Nothing is happening…And to boot I can’t get my $60.00 hard earned Cash back…Sucks!!! cheats, thieves…I am very disappointed now with the whole freaking mess…I have already maxed up 3,000,000 plus coinage so I am not a novice player, I sure would like a crack at the EC Farm especially now that I have PAID for it in cash…They need to get it together…

My first quest is stuck. It says collect 4 postcards the it is checked as being done. I have like 20 in my gift box. How can this be fixed?

My quest says it wants 4 postcards, and I’ve done that, and the quest won’t finish. It has both items checked and marked as done, and the quest won’t go away. It’s been that way for weeks now. Any suggestions?
