FarmVille English Countryside Quest 6: Building Blocks

Plow, Plant, Harvest it’s just that simple, right? Henry is still learning about farming and he needs our help. In Quest 6, “Building Blocks” of the third set of English Countryside quests, Henry wants us to teach him about the buildings on our farms.
To “show” him how they work we will have to harvest a few of our buildings with purpose, such as the Chicken Coop, and also craft The Duke’s Stout Crafting Pub recipe up to Level 15.
Objectives:
- 1. Harvest your EC Chicken Coop 2 times.
- 2. Harvest your EC Horse Stable 2 times.
- 3. Craft Duke’s Stout recipe to Level 15.
Upon completing the objectives for this quest you will be rewarded with the usual Farm Coins and XP, along with some more fences (lame). What’s up with the fencery?
Rewards:
- 200 XP
- 2, 500 Farm Coins
- 5 Fences

I do NOT have “Dukes Stout”… The picture that I have that looks like the one above says its “Health Drink”… ?!? What???
Does anyone else have this problem? I even have a mastery sign for it and the sign says “Health Drink” as well…

this is not Zynga — contact them here if you have issues with your coop completing this quest.. i had the same issue and contacted them and the Support finished the quest for me so i could move on..

Unfortunately collecting from coop not counting toward the quest. Hopefully they get it fixed soon. I have many neighbours also having the same problem.

I don’t show stout either – All i have is the health drink

I spent money to finish my potatoes–because I did not think I would be able to be on to do it on time..then the stupid chicken coops do not work…am furious, and stuck..STUPID STUPID problems to have, Zynga —get your &*@ together!!

I harvested my chicken coop twice as well and have emailed zynga support and still waiting and have already almost completed the aster job!
my daughter is having the same problem and has also emailed zynga without results

I harvested my chicken coop and it did not count towards the quest, also, I found an English egg and it’s not in my giftbox

I, too, am stuck at the Building block quest because of the chicken coop harvest. I intentionally didn’t harvest my coop so that I would be able to harvest at least the one immediately after completing the english peas (which by the way also didn’t work for me–I used an instant gro but it only counted 100 eng peas and I still had to go back and plant another 100). So now we are all stuck at not being able to show progress at harvesting chicken coops. Well, at least I know I’m not the only one. Yes, I wrote zygna as well.

I have the same problem as many above. I just started this mission, have crafted the Duke’s stout up to level 15 long time ago, harvested horse stable, which went ok but the CHICKEN COOP harvesting WASN’T counted…. I hope it won’t take weeks to fix this, since some seem to have had this problem already several days ago!

Harvested the coop and it was not counted…it states that all the chicken must be very friendly….Lol i suppose my chickens aren’t so friendly at the moment:)

Submit a ticket to Zynga to fix the chicken coop. I had the same problem after harvesting the chicken coop twice. One of their tech’s was able to fix it for me, and I was able to move on.

i do not intend to spend another dollar on this game..and i have spent a lot….. i have harvested that chicken 3 times now for the quest and still have not got the credit for any..i know zygna is aware of the problem…so whats the hold up?? Please work out the kinks and test new goals and projects..we put alot of time and sometimes money into this game…i feel like zygna is throwing just any ole’ thing at us now that we’re hooked!

I got a reply from Zynga today, they’re very sorry, investigating and trying to fix the problem, but since they cannot give an estimated time – I got 20 FV cash from them so I can go on with my quest – additionally 10 love potion and 10 special delivery

Chicken coop is still a major issue, it has thrown me right out of sync in trying to complete the next quest.

the first time i harvested my coop it actually counted, yesterday it didn’t though.
but half an hour ago i tried again, and it worked!!
i am glad, even though i missed my gold medal at the amazing asters job i had already started…

For those seeing “Health Drink ” instead of “Duke’s Stout” it is the same drink.
I notice for a long time now that for crafting farmers who are under a certain age, alcoholic name references are auto changed to a non-alcoholic name.

Why are people moaning about the chicken coop on here – this is not farmville !! If you have a problem with the game then contact the people who provide it and not an unofficial fan site !!
All I wanted to do is answer the question posed at the top of these comments

I like the fences but this is a VERY LONG QUEST for such a small reward. I would have expected FV at least.
It has taken me 5 days just to level up the duke stout by 3 and I still have 4 levels to go.
Can anyone give me a hint at how I can go faster?
And why is no-one else moaning about such a long and hard quest?
Had they all done it already?
If so then how?

They changed the level down to 5 now… but I’m already at level 10 & I still can’t finish this quest … sigh
