FarmVille Farm Coins to Farm Cash Preview

Wow! Exciting news for FarmVille Freaks that have been wanting this for a very long time. From the unreleased images above and below, it looks like FarmVille is finally giving farmers the option to turn their Farm Coins into Farm Cash!
The image below shows the return value to be 100,000 Farm Coins convert 10 Farm Cash. Of course this is all subject to change up until the very last minute this feature rolls out and becomes live in-game. This new feature is expected to roll out soon and possibly today, so we’ll be sure to keep you updated and informed on turning your Farm Cash into Farm Coins!

This will be awesome if it actually happens. A dairy barn or two full of belted cows means that I’ll be getting around 10 cash a day. THIS WILL BE AWESOME.

this is a great idea as long as it is a fair amount of cash we get for alot of coins…otherwise its not worth it…should be 20 fc for 100,000 coins at least…also, what happened to themn fixing the speed of transferring from one game to another..they had it for ONE NITE ONLY change between the games at warp speed..which was awesome..then they had more bugs to fix and now it takes just as long as before..they just changed the layout of the farm choices…please fix this farmville peeps…ty

I’m betting that you will need to subscribe to this “service”, and the subscription fee will probably be high enough that if you just used that amount of money to buy a game card you’d probably end up with more farmcash than it would be possible to buy with coins in game using your subscription lol

Hmm… The subscription button on the bottom would not surprise me in the slightest if you have to pay actual money for this in order to convert your coins into FV cash. I really doubt Zynga would let us all willingly convert coins to cash without getting something in return for it.

Those with millions of coins would benefit from it..I’m just hoping the subscription price won’t match up to one’s coin collection..
Hopefully it isn’t as slow as the flea market..which I still don’t have up to now.

I think it is a great idea and have wished for the ability to exchange coins for farm cash for quite some time. Why are some people so negative about everything Zynga does? Sure, there are some problems with Farmville, but people … it is basically a free game that you can play without buying farm cash at all if you choose. And as free games go, it is pretty darned good! It’s obvious that a lot of time, effort and imagination go into the development of this game and I, for one, appreciate it!

Seeing as when you are buying with cash, $5 = 25FC or 7,500 coins, the exchange rate should be pretty good!
Me, I’ve worked hard to amass a little over 20 million farm coins, If / when the next home farm expansion is made available for coins, it’s gonna cost about 20 million farm coins to cover the bill. Anything over and above 25 million coins, sure, I’d exchange it for farm cash!

I’m not going to get excited over this. It will be just like the flea market – no everyone, including myself will receive this feature. I don’t want to listen to neighbors talking about how much cash they get while I wait for nothing. So, not thrilled and actually since I’ve been playing since this game first started, I seriously doubt I’ll be playing much longer. It is no longer fun or fair.

if i have learned anything over the years in farmville, it is that there WILL be a catch. there is little chance that they will convert 100,000 coins to 10 FC. right now, for higher levels, i think it takes around 10 million coins spent to gain the xp to gain one level. and that is only for the players that can still get cash for leveling up. so 10 FC for only 100,000 coins? i would be surprised.

I didn’t notice that “subscription” button at the bottom.
Filled out the poll with a “yes”.
I was getting all excited about the possibility – thinking I’d convert coins to cash as and when I wanted to buy something for cash – not converting whole lumps of coins at once and figuring out how I would go about it.
But then I read the comments. And saw the “subscription” button.
Disappointment struck me down.
So – it’s “wait and see” for me.

1–whoever writes these posts for this site should really do a better job. Almost every single post recently has at least one major typo. WTF? Isn’t it your JOB to write these? I’d have fired you months ago…
2–yah f’n right! You mean to tell me that all of a sudden they’re going to start giving players 10-20+ FC a day? C’mon, don’t tell me anyone reading this is dumb enough to actually believe that.. It’s rreeaaalllllyy easy to generate at least 100,000 coins a day (I can get around 300,000 a day, if I really pay attention and harvest everything, and I only play the EC and home farm), there is NO way we’re gonna be able to just change that into FC. I think this is just a temporary ploy so that there won’t be so much uproar about the Flea Market SNAFU.

It will cost real money to subscribe and there will be a limit. No one should get too excited — it won’t be a free ride. But the good thing is that it WILL give so many of you another thing to complain about.

They are loosing long time players and have no idea how to keep them and make more money.

I see the word “subscription” at the bottom which means we will probably have to pay to use this feature. Zynga had a poll a few months ago asking about this. It asked about paying for a subscription to weekly or monthly emails in which u get different perks. (such as a one month sub and you get a discounted or free horse each week) This particular screenshot seems to indicate a 4 month “ability” to pay 100,000 coins a week to get 10 farm cash. You see each column says monthly with 4 buttons below.. looks to me that maybe its limited to 40 farm cash a month?? Whatever sneaky ideas Zynga has to trick players out of money, PLEASE investigate all subscriptions when they do come out, and take the time to figure out if its worth it or not. Chances are, it won’t be.

I dunno about this…my friend just got it …it is only available in the U.S. and the conversion is 3 mil. for 10 FV …….but the biggest catch is : YOU have to pay 10 dollars a month to get the conversion benefits. There is some confusion thought because it says she can only trade her coins 4 times a month which would only give her 40 FV for $dollars which is actually more than what you would pay normally…but it also said you could only get 120 FV a month doing this….doesn’t make sense and I do not think it will be around long.

Such a shame, i was really looking forward to this. I guess there’s always a catch behind every good thing in farmville. I noticed a “join” underneath my farm cash on my farm, so i clicked it and a pop up came out saying “Coin into Cash, Sign up now and exchange up to 120 every month”. At the bottom of the pop up it says “10 USD per month” SIGN UP.

The idea of farmville giving cash for coins sounds great, but the money that i personally am receiving from them when they are buying stuff and money gotten from free cash perks have been taken away from me till i have lost 65 farm cash. they took 23 farm cash just since this morning. since i don’t have any clue how to get hold of them i’m just my money. what are they going to do with money for coins??? Give take your coins and money too. I’m truly discusted.

No way am I going to pay ten dollars a month for the ability to change FV coin into FV FC.
$10 gets you 55 FC anyhow, and I bet they change the rule from the image above, and it turns out NOT to be 100,000 coin = 10FC, or if it does there will be a monthly limit or something….
What annoys the heck out of me is the new ad that shows up in the middle of the game – as if there wasn’t enough of them!! I don’t want to know whether some random so-and-so spent FC and “won” 20 FC. It means nothing but an interruption to me.
