The Fortune Teller is a new feature where you will be able to collet Tarot Cards and redeem them for special prizes.
In order to unlock and play the Puzzles inside the Fortune Teller Machine, you ill need to collect all 3 types of the following Tarot Cards:
- FarmVille Past Tarot Card
- FarmVille Present Tarot Card
- FarmVille Future Tarot Card

Here’s a sneak peek preview of some of the Fortune Telling Machine prizes that you will be able to unlock. Remember, each time you attempt to redeem your Tarot Cards you must use at least one of the three different types of Tarot Cards: Past, Present, and Future. There are many different combinations that will unlock certain prizes, so be sure to share with your friends which combinations got you which prizes in the comments below. We will be keeping track of these combination numbers and posting them up in a new post here on FarmVilleFreak.com!

I still don’t know if the guess button will take my money or not if I press it. I have cards but I don’t get how to use them… you are not clear on instructions…

I didnt get the telescope- cause i don’t have one- i got the mirror, b/c i bought 4 of them last year when they were for sale.

combination 8 9 5 gives floating wagon if that is of use, hope people can keep this going to give good combinations rather than keep wasting tickets for useless gifts.
532,533.433,543 all give telescope

U use as many cards as you want to guess how many card it takes for each of the prizes you will only spend FC if you click on the part below the ask buttons. Now my question is if anyone has guess the combination for it XD

4, 2, 2 and 5, 5, 5 both give old telescope
no pressing guess does not use farmcash if you have enough cards. you don’t have to do anything special to use them, just press the arrows up or down and meet the minimum numbers of each.

i have no clue how this works…i have tried different combinations of the cards and all i keep getting is the telescope…im up to 11 of them…plz help!!!

I like the machine but i don’t like that i keep getting the same prize 9 timees.

Okay – Thanks to folks here and on a couple of other sites who haee posted their results so far, I think I’m part of the way there to figuring out the pattern. It seems to have to do with minimums for each type of cards (not sure it matters how many Future cards you have…so far, I’m thinking that really only the Past and Present ones matter, as long as you have the requisite minimum 2 Future cards, but I’m not sure…)
So, I don’t have all of the items worked out, but I think the general idea goes something like this…
Telescope – Min. 4 Past and 2 Present
Wagon – Min. 6 Past and 4 Present
Mirror – Min. 8 Past and 6 Present
Sundial – Min. 10 Past and maybe 8 Present (only info I had on a winning combination for this was for someone who used 10 Present)
Now, here’s where it gets tricky, because I haven’t seen as much data on the higher-prize wins…
It seems that the Elephant requires 20 Past; not sure how many Present, but I’ve seen a win with as few as 15.
It seems the Panther and Gypsy Horse both are satisfied with 30 Past and the Horse is satisfied with as few as 20 Present.
As we get more data, we can finish up the pattern… But my guess is that, while the first row seems to have a 2-card difference between Past and Present, the second row may have a 4-card difference and the third row could be something like a 6-card difference and the fourth “row” (Gypsy Horse) could be an 8- or 10-card difference.

Got a magic mirror for 8-8-2 interesting … somehow I wondering exactly how it works… perhaps each tier will require a minimum number of Past, Present, or Future, and then the prizes are determined in an order after that?

I do not care for this feature – not only is it very confusing (and I’m not easily confused), but I cannot get enough tickets to do anything. Every single solitary post I find on the feed “sorry; item already claimed” or “sorry; the time for this event is expired” and it just posted a few minutes ago!
I like a challenge and I like combing the feed for goodies and to help my neighbors, but it is very disheartening not to be able to collect enough tickets. I typically ignore such things, but I’d really love the horse, the wagon and the trees, dang it.
So I’ll keep trying.
But I don’t like it.

if you do invite new neighbors, you still need to go into your neighbor list (I need to do this again) and invite them from there as well. Might not hurt to start writing down who I’m inviting and look to see who’s inviting me so I don’t keep annoying the active players with invites.
‘course, I never look at what they need anyways, I just click accept until the list is gone!
