FarmVille English Countryside Quests Part V, 1-5 (June 16, 2011)
Quest 1: Cream of the Crop
Requirements: Harvest 1 Dairy Farm, Harvest 100 Red Currants & Get 6 Ice Cream Cones
Rewards 100 XP, Garden Urn & 1,000 Farm Coins
Quest 2: Perfect Preparations
Requirements: Harvest 100 Bluebells, Get 3 Glasses of Grape Juice & Make 6 Barley Crumpet
Rewards: 100 XP, 4 Country Flower Bed & 1,000 Farm Coins
Quest 3: Parting Gifts
Requirements: Get 6 Presents, Place 3 Lambs & Harvest 100 Field Beans
Rewards: 250 XP, Lord Outfit, Lady Outfit & 2,500 Farm Coins
Quest 4: Once Around the Farm
Requirements: Get 6 Airship Patches, Harvest 100 Black Tea & Make 3 Rosehip Tea
Rewards: 250 XP, 6 Country Garden Beds & 2,500 Farm Coins
Quest 5: A Great Start
Requirements: Get 6 Donation Cheques, Harvest 200 Cara Potatos & Get 15 Bushels from Friends
Rewards: 500 XP, Castle, 5,000 Farm Coins & Unlock Transferable Storage

i love love love the final reward. the quests are a hassle, since i have already mastered all those crops and i hate having to replant stuff i don’t need, but in this case, then ends justify the means, for me at least

Hi! I’m a little confuse here. This is the new English Countryside Quest Part 4. But, on Wed, 01/06/2011, appear 4 post about 4 English Countryside Quests named: Quest 1 Blooming Great, Quest 2 A Test of Wool, Quest 3 The Key to the Castle, and Quest 4 Country Bunnies. This 4 quests are included in what English Countryside Part? Thanks for the help.

I hope they bring in new quests after this. I quite enjoy doing them, and I LOVE the rewards.
I know they annoy some players, but it’s not necessary to complete them as you can still farm without doing them.
As for the people who rage against them, I think they need to get some perspective, the world won’t stop turning because there’s some arrows to the side of the screen, and if it does, well then they will have the satisfaction of being right!

I can’t open the market to buy seeds. How are we supposed to complete quests when we can’t access the market. FV SUCKS!!!!! I’m tired of using farm cash!

ok guys, i need someone with a better memory than mine. i can’t remember from earlier quests…when they say make 6 barley crumpets, does it count when we “make” or when we “complete”. i remember doing it wrong last time, but do not remember why. thanks

Thanks for sharing this,, it’s unfortunate that I can’t plant anything, can’t even open the market,, but in the past, Zynga has reimbursed me for having to use fv cash to complete the quests. Please keep up updated of any changes.

@ vicky … in R/L when we MAKE things, the we gather the ingredients, mix them together, do a few other tricks, wait for a while and the new product is done. In V/L it doesn’t go much different… Some things go quite faster, other things don’t … But when it says you have to MAKE something, you have to COMPLETE the process…
I am wondering something, when we are able to exchange stored gadgets between the farms, does it mean we are able to store 500 of these goodies per farm, or will it be totalled to 500 items….

I am having the same problems as others….I can’t open my Market therefore I can’t plant seeds, buy flags, sheep, & other items to complete the quests. So far I have opted to bypass some & pay FV cash to complete the items, but I hate doing that. Sure hope they fix the problem soon because not only does it effect us completing tasks, I can’t buy any new animals etc. that might only be available for a day, etc. Zynga … pls fix this ASAP!!!

Unfortunately, the bluebells and English peas I harvested are as if I have not harvested them at all. I didn’t get any bushels from them and it didn’t count the bluebells in the second quest as harvested bluebells.
I hope it will be fine this time, I planted them again.
Bu, I love quests too, so keep making them.

I had to stop completing the quests as I had to do 3times the Being Neighborly and all the time game went OoS…..now I was able to complete it I wanted to see all the requirements for coming quests but above mentioned 4 are not in your list

When I have a problem with anything on FV I email support directly and they answer within 24 hrs. If I state that I lost out on potion/bottles, etc. they always send me 10 of each while they fix the problem. Granted, it is VERY ANNOYING with all the problems that are FV related, at least they try to compensate.

I LIKE ALL OF THE QUESTS, EVEN THE ONES WHERE HAD TO BREED SHEEP AND PIGS, NOT MY THING. BUT I DO HAVE A PROBLEM WITH 1 COMING UP. MAKE ROSE HIP TEA. WELL YOU HAVE TO HAVE AN UPGRADED BUILDING FOR THAT RECEIPT. I CHOSE NOT TO UPGRADE MINE BECAUSE I DID NOT LIKE THE LOOK OF IT.. PLUS IT COST 1 MIL COINS TO DO SO… I DO NOT THINK THAT IS FAIR. I WISH THEY WOULD RETHINK THAT PORTION, OR UPGRADE WITHOUT CHANGING THE BUILDING.. IT IS UGLY….

I agree totally with Caroline – I too choose not to have the stage 3 Pub as I don’t like its looks – WAAAAAY OVERDONE – doesn’t fit in at all……now we’re being told that we have to upgrade it to complete these quests and access the ability to move items in storage – I don’t think so !!!! Zynga/Farmville – either figure out a way we can keep the level 2 building appearance and still complete the quests OR watch the purchase of FV Cash disappear – at least from this player.

Quests need to be put in a new window that would show up and you can choose which one you would like to work with or get some help on.

I’m a bit behind on these quests but has come to my attention that they have now changed the steps.
Am having to harvest sheep pen 1 time, place 1 lamb on farm and make three crumpets of some variety. Before that had to plant and harvest 50 cornflowers, 50 blue squill, and 50 bluebellls!!!!! Is there an update PULEASE???? Thank you in advance for your input.

Several people mentioned the icon for the quest they are on disappearing, so they are not able to click on it to see the tasks. I have had this happen too but I find that by reloading the page the icon will show again. Hope that helps for other people.
Also, if you have problems just contact support directly. They have been so helpful and nice when I have needed help. So don’t just write out what is wrong here, or throw your hands up and say Zynga sucks or whatever, just email them and let them know what you need!

Like Kinya pointed out above there are quests not listed above, 4 of them. The quests above are 5-9 not 1-5. Here are quests 1-4 that I had that are not listed above.
1. Harvest 50 Cornflowers, 50 Bluebells and 50 Spring Squills.
2. Harvest Sheep Pen, place a Lamb and make 3 Floral Scorns
3. Buy Cow, get 6 Magnets and Plow 200 plots
4. Harvest 100 Radishes, have 50 Shovels in Storage Cellar and buy a Hedge.

Hi, I finished all the quests and got my castle and farm transfer, but I have a few things in my gift box that I can’t remember if they were for past tasks and I can re-gift/sell them, or maybe they’re for future tasks and I should keep them. These are the items:
Picnic Blankets
Electric Fans
Burlap Sacs
Building Permits
Can you please let me know if I can get rid of these?

I love these guides… Now that my son is going through the quests, I wish there were a static page “quest guide” where they were kept sequenced according to quest… it would make finding them again much easier.

BearDrummer there is a webpage that has the link to each of the four parts I bookmarked it so I could easly get it. You can also bookmark each seprate part that your on and then delete it when your done. The link is posted below. (If it doesn’t work try typing in farmvillefreak transferable storage and you can probably find the page that way.)

Unfortunately, the EC quests are going to end in 15 days now.
I’m in the middle of Quest Part 3 and it seems very difficult to complete the rest of them in 15days… Alas, no choice… I hope to complete all the quests till 31st August with the help of the guides…

i have a question … it tells me that i need to grow 25 cara potatoes get 2 of those donation chaques and get 4 bushels for my quest that i am on……………… right… well it says on here that everyone else had to do 200 cara potatoes get 6 donation chaques and get 25 bushels from friends …. well ……………. do u think its a glitch .. or should i get what they tell me i need???

Lovely surprise! Time’s running out and the quest challenges have been eased – only needed 2 grape juice and made only 3 barley crumpets. Quest V, part 3 has been reduced to 2 presents, 1 lamb and 25 field beans. I’m getting quite excited! It looks like I have a chance to complete the quest! Thank you to all the game controllers! You guys are just great!

In the last two days or so they DRASTICALLY lowered the requirements on most all quests. You’re current numbers needed will be correct, not a glitch.

Dude you are way off when it comes to the quest requirements. for example its 2 Donation Cheques, 25 Cara Potato’s and 4 bushels. You might want to fix those.

So I clicked “Ask Friends” for the Glasses of Grape Juice , and FV autoposted the link on my wall, but the link is defaulted as can be viewed by “Only Me” WTH?! How are any of my friends supposed to send me anything if FV makes it so that they can’t even see the link? Anyone else having this problem? Please help!

Farmville needs to realize that it doesn’t MATTER if you have to plant 200 things or now a revised 25—if it still takes two days to harvest we are NOT all going to get the quests finished by the end of this month. Making it simpler is great..but it’s not really HELPING at all. THE time is what Matters here.

I don’t understand how to get the bushels in the final task ‘ a great start ‘. Everytime i accept the bushels from friends it never goes towards my inventory even tho there is heaps free and it never goes towards the quest. Help pleasee ?

Thar ts a **** because I woke up earlier this morning to finish the last quest and all the quest of english farm ended.I spent many farmcash to finish the other quests and I didnt recive anything.this is unfair I m not playing anymore
