Why ? I use to back these quest but it’s just to much now.

  2. Ron Says:

According to another site this quest is a 9 parter.

  3. chrissy Says:

    I love it TY :)

  4. Scott Says:

I used to like the quests. But now we are playing Questville. Please leave us alone. This used to be a fun game but now it is a chore. It is getting beyond insane.

  5. Street Runner Says:

    @ Ron – look again – there’s 9 listed – check your eyes – lol

  6. Alex Says:

Please make the quests STOP. Too much

  7. Bev Says:

I am down to doing one quest at a time and on my way to not doing any of them. I am finishing up one and I am not doing this one. I am tired of the crop portion of the quests. I am into crop masteries and do not like having to stop in the middle of a crop mastery challenge to plant and harvest crops that I have already mastered. The 50 to 150 crop requests got on my nerves. Now in these quests, Farmville is asking for 200 to 450+ crops. I prefer to plant and harvest crops of my choice.

  8. Nancy Says:

Enough with the quests!!!!! They are getting to be a royal pain! You need to offer more stuff for coins rather than FV cash.

  9. Alice Says:

wish the ski duck and snowboard gnome were for sale! With quests you can only get one.

  10. Kirt Says:

First, I renew my objection to the requirement of having the “new” buildings. Some of us are old school and the old school buildings are just fine, thank you. That said, the overall time parameter of this nine-part debacle is ridiculous! Two weeks with TWO built-in two day stages? Unbelievable. Evidently, Zynga thinks we are gullible enough to shell out FarmCash to accelerate our Farms in order to comply. Not this Farmer!

  11. echo moon Says:

i for one an getting extremely SICK N TIRED of all the dang quests.

it just keeps getting worse and worse with needing to collect more and more junk!!!

i’ve already had to build a horse paddock and a cow pasture, now i’ve got to build a freaking livestock pen.

good he77!!! when are they gonna let up!!! as much as i enjoy the game i’m about ready to say the heck with it and simply quit!!!

  12. Kirt Says:

Additionally, this one (and several of the more recent ones) is especially tough on me as a Gnome collector. Not only am I excluded from participating (admittedly by my choice, but still…) because of the ‘new’ building requirements, but I am denied an opportunity to get a new Gnome. While I would NOT spend FarmCash to complete the quest, I have/do/would spend it to get the Gnome…without jumping through the rest of the hoops.

  13. Angela Says:

I love all the prizes…cant wait to get through all of them..!!

  14. Mary Says:

One problem I have is the Winter Wonderland farm is so stuffed with prizes, trees, orchards, pastures, it looks really crummy. And it’s too expensive, as the 4th farm, to keep doling out 1M coins to expand, either that or the FV$ which is just way too much for some of us peons that play. And they keep giving prizes for that farm, and most of my prizes just live in my gift box, because there is no where to put them on the farm.

  15. Pooh Says:

I like the rewards they are giving out in these set of quests. Also, the XP amount reward is awesome- I mean 1500 XP is the highest they have offered of late.
I complete all the quests and I love the challenges they pose. I have 2 big farms – my home farm and English farm which I use to plant the high number of crops asked in the quests. Thanks to my helpful neighbours who help me collecting the required items for each quests off my wall. Only that part used to be painful to me when I didn’t have many active neighbours. Now, I am able to complete all the quests well before the timelines. After finishing the quests, I realise that there isn’t much to do on Farmville. I grow the mystery seedlings (which is my favorite thing on FV), arrange things on my farms, expand the animal pens, clear my gift box, etc if there are no quests. But hey, how long can you do that??? It gets boring soon after thta. Usually, I just plant something as it is required in the quests- crop mastery follows anyway. But thats my opinion.

  16. Gracie Pollard Says:

When I ask for the items for ALL these quests, my requests do not post to the newsfeed, therefore, I DO NOT receive the needed items. :( What’s goin’ on FarmVille? I am still trying to get 3 more wreaths and that quest started days ago! HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  17. cinco Says:

since fixing certain problems tihngs are goood on farmville… i like to do the quests especially for the sheep :) i think ill be stopping after number 4 or maybe even 5 though

  18. Neil Says:

I will not even start this quest.

Just look at all the time I am saving.

And they are Horse Blankets, not rugs.

  19. Teek Says:

I have LOST my sweater penguin (stupid looking piece of crap that it is), it WAS in my gift box but it wouldn’t go into a pen so I could harvest it, even though it is listed inside the pen. So it disappeared from the box and is nowhere on the farms. Now I can’t finish the quest without paying 15 FC, which I won’t do. I wanted to get to the level of the horse, but I have wasted so much time looking for the penguin I just have to give up. This was fun 2 years ago, now I just want my life back. Nobody has time to say hi to FV friends let alone visit eveyone’s farm anymore, all the social aspect is gone, reduced to just begging for quest crap and trolling the feed for it, and building buildings, which then have to be expanded. FIFTY of EVERYTHING?? AFTER building it 3 times over? Insanity.

  20. Cori Says:

I enjoy quests in general but this has gone too far. I couldn’t believe it when the crop harvest quests went to 400-500 and who knows how much after that! I have enjoyed the prizes though, however some of them I did not like but that’s okay as long as there are things I do like. I think the bigger the crop quest the bigger the prize should be! How about a rare tree that just came out? Or an animal that costs millions in FV coins? Or actual FV cash? Just a suggestion. I am a person that pays money to play FV at times, so I don’t think I am asking too much. I couldn’t believe how many quests there were either. How about 4 or 5 and then wait a couple of weeks to do it over again? No wonder everyone is getting burnt out on FV. I for one am anyways and expect to take another long break from FV after the winter quests are done. *sighs*

  21. MoMo Says:

    I just finished this quest.
And I have been asked, if i want to play it again to win the prizes again

  22. Maria Says:

Guys these quests are okay…lots of work though..and one does have a job, life etc….I believe we should be given more time to complete them, plus more space on our farms (buying them cheaper would be nice!!)…no more space to put anything on!!!!

One huuuuuuuge problem…my sweater cow from quest 6 has never shown up in my giftbox…what do I do…obviously if Zynga doesn’t send me one there is no way to finish the quests…is there?!?!?!?

  23. tilly sue Says:

Love the quests, however they are not long enough to complete all requirements, so again, will not get all of it done. But keep them coming, makes the game interesting in my opinion :)

  24. Tuss Says:

I have also lost my sweater cow so I cannot harvest and won’t be able to finish the quest 6. What can I do?

  25. carol Says:

can’t send requests or gifts. What good is this Link?

  26. Golden Gnome Says:

A year ago I loved this game, have dozens of active daily playing neighbors out of my 84. Now I “have” more than 200 neighbors, but almost none of them playing acitively (6 or 7). Most of them easily skip the quests, a very some of them buy him or herself trough the missions.

Facebook automatically marks the Farmville posts as spams because of the endless begging, and because of that I can’t see the posts in the feed, and others can’t see my posts too. To collect 4 or 6 items needs days (posting 3-4 times a day), decause nobody see my posts. And I can’t see theirs, so this “help and get one” feature totally unusable.

Zynga “find a problem” in almost every action, harvest, plow, seed, travel between farms, and the whole game totally kill my notebook with fill my memory with 1,2-1,4 GB stuff (under chrome, opera, firefox and IE too – I know I tried to find the optimal browser for this “game”), but release tons of new stuff (almost everything for FVC), new buildable objects in every two weeks, and nowadays we have three paralel questlines a time. This is too much for a browser game.

Someone sayin’ “you don’t have to do this, if the quests are too much, don’t do them”. Yes. Sure. I like questing, and if Zynga give us useful rewards I want to do them because I don’t want to pay 10, 20 or 30 FVC for a tree or an animal. I know that Zynga make this game for the “will pay for everything” 1%, but the players 99% don’t thinking this way. I have two neighbors, thes buy everything. They now mastered a week ago released trees, skipping all of the begging, but they are two of my (now 217) neighbors.

We don’t have enoght time, don’t have enough active neighbors, and have to much to do. This is ain’t a game, this is almost a JOB. My boss that who say “you have X days to do this and that”. When I start Farmville, I WANT TO PLAY. Not this: collect 3 pair os shoes, 6 pullovers, 14 winter chili, harvest, master to level 1, and etc. Why a pig needs 3 pair of shoes? Why I have to seed and harvest crops I already mastered take a day to mature and give me 15 coin income / plow. Say “harvest 100 furit”, because its great, and I have an option to seed 4 hours or 2 days long maturing time fruit crops.

Zynga have to change their idea of gaming, because the lose thousands of players every day…

  27. Golden Gnome Says:

And I think its not normal that a browser game need 1,2 GB RAM and causes 50-70% CPU usage (at load), and 45-55 (at use) in an i7 based system.

    Optimize this f*cing game!

  28. Stella Says:

It’s been a race against time. And I’ve been dragged into Farmville much more than I wanted. The quest I was on my way of finishing has disappeared, so it ended. Tell you the truth, even though this is a free game and perhaps I shouldn’t be bitching, I’m quite sick of the whole quest thing. I’ve started the running shoes, but I plan to stop at three, when I have to collect and plant too many items.

Drawbacks of the quests at this tempo:
    1. You can’t harvest any pen or stable, because you may need it tomorrow to put in an item that you have to harvest in a hurry;

    2. You can’t seed the crops you need for crafts or the ones you want to master because you have to harvest pumpkins or whatever to finish the quest.

    3. And especially: you have to bother your friends incessantly to collect 3-12 items, then you have to bother them again because you need to expand something. Then you have to ask for building materials, and before you have time to finish, the farmville people throw something else on your farm that needs over a hundred parts to finish.

Speaking for myself: I have an unfinished cove, an unfinished railway, an unfinished autumn harvest shed and now an unfinished ice palace.

Is this a way to force us to buy farm cash? You pay 1 euro for 4,5 farm cash and it takes 20 just to skip something once. With at least 8 parts in one quests your spend 160 farm cash, that is almost 40 euro and you can buy a whole PC game for that price.

  29. Starla Roberson Says:

Everyone is complaining about the quests being to much, They need to stop and think, THEY DON”T NEED TO DO IT. It is not mandatory, it is a game, not life. If you don’t like the quest the simple thing to do is not do them. This is suppose to be a fun entertaining game to play. don’t make it a chore. Relax, have fun and do what you want to do,

  30. V. THORPE Says:

I HATE THESE QUESTS!!!! THEY SAY YOU HAVE THIS MANY DAYS, YOU COME BACK THE NEXT DAY AND YOUR TIME IS CUT MORE THEN HALF. ITS NO FUN WORKING AT THESE QUEST. YES WE LIKE THE GIFTS BUT YOU DON’T ALLOW ENOUGH TIME.

  31. Elemjay Says:

So, I just finished this questline “with two days to go” and got asked if I wanted to do it again and try to get the prizes all over again. I said Hell no, now I can focus growing things I need!

And for the complainers – Yes, there is enough time to do them and you don’t have to pay for it either. If you use the guide here on FVF AND use the links for the requested items you can finish really fast if you just try…
Remember, if you use the links here you don’t have to finish part two to ask for the items required for part 3 and forward. The only thing you have to worry about there is that you can only ask each one of your neighbours once in a couple of hours (four? Six? Dunno), but it’s more then manageble either way.
Stop complaining, you don’t have to do the quests if you don’t want to. :P

  32. Cheryl Nelson Says:

We are all having problems with this quest

  33. Helen Says:

Couldn’t finish this quest as no matter how many times neighbours helped me with getting hoof warmers, they did not register with the quests. Not this first time this has happened either. Time constraints are frustrating when you encounter a problem and there is not much leeway built in

  34. AhBella Says:

I liked all the quests but I needed more time, I think that they were adorable.

  35. molly baslee Says:

i cann;t send my friends there gift.they are listed to the side of farm
